Meal very good. Service was exceptional. Very pleasant evening, Will be back.

We have been coming to Cote for years and are one of your biggest fans However Saturday morning I decided to treat my family to breakfast but the whole experience was very poor. We waited over 45min for breakfast to arrive only to find poached eggs and mushrooms missing off the vegetarian and two breakfasts did not arrive.When the missing items eventually arrived the rest of us had finished eating.The waiter did apologise and took 2 breakfast off the bill but at no time did a manager come over. Very disappointing.

Pretty good mostly except for the steak. They changed the first tough one without quibble but the second was not that much better. Rest of food was good.

Avoid Christmas time- staff focussed on getting ready for large parties

Great food and choices. Quite pricey but you Kath for what you get. Good service. Unfortunately card machines broken so had to go out and get cash out which means we were late for our next reservation, but that’s not their fault. Could have peered a free coffee maybe whilst waiting or as an incentive?

Food was up to usual high standard. Enjoyment undermined by noise level. Busy being a week before Christmas but the noise is aggravated by environs of all hard smooth surfaces. An acoustics specialist advice would be helpful.

We enjoyed lovely food great ambience and friendly efficient service.

Wasn't over keen on the allocated table; eventually downstairs, but not in the main body of the restaurant; but definitely better than an emptiysh upstairs where we were originally to be taken. Service was slowish, but on this occassion we didn't mind too much. The food, all choices from the Prestige menu, were good for all 4 of us diners. For me, the mussels were excellent; the ribeye steak v good; and the chips hot and crispy. Restaurant suffered a technical outage when we asked for our bill; and we were requested to pay in cash. Luckily we had the amount; otherwise it would have entailed a visit to a nearby ATM.

A group of 5 of us went as a works outing for a Saturday lunch. The staff were friendly and helpful and did not try to rush us through our meal. Even though we were there for 2 1/2 hours we never got the impression that they were waiting for us to leave. The food was excellent and very good value. We had the Christmas menu and all enjoyed both starters & main course I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

A fabulous experience with attentive service, staff made our party feel very welcome. The food was also great.

Great food & service on a busy Christmas shopping day

We were asked to vacate out table after an hour and my colleague had not ordered her dessert. Very disappointed.

Hi food was lovely as usual. Was a bit taken aback as we ordered Kir Royals and because they had run out of Blanc de blanc they mixed it with champagne. They brought it to the table and told us what they had done and it would cost more!!. Surely they should have told us before serving it or maybe given it to us for the same price as was there fault. I know we could have said we didn't want it, but were a bit taken aback and we we were celebrating with friends. Shame as we always love to dine in Cote.

Another excellent meal at Cote Brasserie.This one at Winchester.I just totally relax when I get in this place. Superb fillet steak beautifully cooked.Excellent code du Rhône and chocolate fondant. Superb service great ambience. Staff very efficient and friendly and know exactly how to wait a table. They just know the formula for a great meal and night out.5 stars all the way.Well done.

We enjoyed a good meal, friendly service and a good atmosphere.

The food was great but at the beginning we felt very rushed to order so we made a point that we were not in any hurry. There were a couple of things which could have been improved: we ordered fougasse and olives and the olives came way ahead of the bread. My partner nipped to the toilet and his soup was served whilst he wasn't at the table. No soup spoon had been provided and the waitress grabbed a dessert spoon off another table and plonked it down. The main course was excellent as was the house red wine. Unfortunately a couple of young children were not well behaved but they did create a bit of tension for a few other diners as well as us - but that is not the fault of the restaurant! My only other comment would be that the toilets could have been cleaner and several cubicles had no paper in them.

Fantstic evening with family, Cote always a 1st Class choice, although this is our local Cote it us our first visit. Great location, good food service impeccable all round. We will be back.

We had lunch to celebrate my Partners Birthday.It was very busy but the service we received and quality of the food was excellent

Excellent food and service as we have come to expect from Cote.

The food was good, but the service wasnt great. It was really slow and they took ages to take our order at first then after each course coming, which came in good time, they took ages to clear our plates. Then it took ages to get the bill and then pay and we had put our coats on and had to go and find someone after 15mins of waiting.

Nice atmosphere and great food. Service was fine but a little slow (they were very busy).

Although busy with Christmas groups and diners we thought that both the service and quality of the food was excellent. Would certainly come back to the Winchester restaurant again.

My husband and I came for Saturday lunch with our 2 daughters (4 years and 6 weeks). Great table/location with space for pram next to us (requested when booked online - so great that they delivered on that) Food was delicious and good value for money - the portions were also spot on! We had the haddock goujons and poulet grille. Staff were friendly and efficient and food wait was minimal. All in all a great lunch experience!

The food was really good and the service was too considering how busy the reataurant was.

Very busy with Xmas groups but food still arrived in good time and well served. Pretty noisy though, would be nice if they could keep a separate area for those not in a big group of vice versa.

Service poor they’d forgotten we’d booked for christmas dinner no menus or crackers and the restaurant not decorated for Xmas. Staff ok but excuses like ‘ we’ve got big tables in ‘ for a massive delay in food arriving sounded limp. After all it’s their job to book the tables accordingly. Food was good! Reluctantly paid the service charge added to the bill, felt that was rather cheeky In the circumstances.

We were sat by a large window upstairs ad were cold because it is not double glazed. The place was very busy but we waited an hour to be served a main course. The it arrived the food was generally very good as usual, but my chips with the Breton Chicken were almost cold. Service was frankly chaotic. There was a party of women also dining who made the place very noisy with their shrieking. Would I go back again? Yes, definitely, but not in the Christmas period.

It was another very pleasant family occasion for us at Cote Brasserie, but we expect that. We have always found the staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food and wine were first class, as was the ambiance.

Excellent service and lovely food when they were clearly very busy. We went for a birthday celebration and they really made a fuss for us, which was just perfect and much appreciated.
