It is always a pleasure for me to eat at cote.

Very enjoyable meal + great choice of food. Very good centrally-located venue. Pleasant staff + they let us continue as we wished - without any feeling of being rushed - which was a real bonus and appreciated. Individual billing would have been a good option. Overall a 5/6 - thank you and I'd be happy to return again.

Excellent. Ordered the chicken liver parfait and calamari for starters and the steak and frites. All very tasty made better by the great bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Recommend!

Yummy meal, well looked after by staff. And the space is lovely. Did find it very noisy and hard to hear it we had a lovely evening.

Great meal at Cote in Winchester today. Can’t fault the food, service and atmosphere. When we visit Winchester Cote is our go to for lunch and we always walk away very happy with our experience. Thanks for looking after us, again.

The staff were very kind and the food arrived promptly once we ordered. We spent more time chatting than eating but they did not seem to mind. All in all, a great night out.

Good food, good wine. Service started off very good and attentive but then waiter changed and petered off. Chateaubriand was extremely tasty but should have been served on a hot plate to keep it warm; not a chopping board. Bernaise sauce and onion soup were excellent.

My wife and I enjoyed four different dishes from the Set Menus. They were reasonably priced and extremely tasty . I had the grilled crottin (goat's cheese) and the confit duck's leg, from the 15.99 menu. My wife chose the mushroom brioche and grilled chicken with Dijonaise sauce, from the 11.99 menu). Unbelievable value.

My husband's salmon was a little overdone and quite hard on both sides. Otherwise everything fine.

The food and service were excellent as usual, but you need to sort lout your system for complimentary cocktails. I booked our table on line on 26th Feb. I received a confirmatory email on 27th Feb. On 1st March I received two emails, one a reminder and one offering a complimentary cocktail. On arrival we were welcomed by the staff, but when I mentioned the cocktail, we were told that we were not flagged up to receive one. Staff were full of apologies and clearly embarrassed, and could not explain why we didn't qualify. On return home, I checked the email and found it referred only to guests using the a la carte menu (we had used the set menu) but we had been refused before either we or your staff knew which menu we would be using. It would save a lot of embarrassment all round if you would explain to staff who is, and who is not, entitled to a free cocktail

Lovely food , great service , very busy had to wait a bit for food , but when it came it was delicious

Winchester Cote staff looked after us all extremely well and made our Wedding meal and family get together a very happy experience.

Lovely waitress, delicious food. Everything was perfect. Ate off the early prestige menu with our kids and food was a really high standard.

We had a really lovely dinner here. Very attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere apart from a loud table of guests we were originally placed next to which was disappointing.

Apart from the ghastly weather which cotes cannot be held accountable for , we had a Super service and super lunch... thank you!

Lovely evening and food excellent as usual. Service initially was very slow delivering drinks and wine. Food was delivered in good time once order had been taken. In fairness it was very busy and there were several large groups, the waiting staff were doing their best. Good evening and will return .
