Côte St Katharine's Docks

Very good food and excellent staff. From the moment we arrived at the restaurant the staff were extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. A delightful afternoon birthday treat for a friend.

2nd visit but unlike the 1st; which scored 6 was a less than satisfactory one! On booking requested long banquette seats with movable table & chairs opposite. Good leg room is required & I walk on crutches & due to nerve damage cannot use seating that has metal arms. So last night we were greeted with news & apologies that all the loos were out of action (so a trip over to the Slug & Lettuce was required). Then a tour of the entire restaurant as no one had read our booking request! Fixed banquettes don't work as I cannot get my leg past a fixed table! All of the other free tables in the main area have chairs with arms; no can do! Finally after 10 mins we were seated at a table in the conservatory area on movable side free chairs & that was OK. Didn't appreciate being told that the banquettes requested on the right & sat in on 1st visit of 4 of us; 'were only for larger parties' when the ones on the left as you go in had couples seated one table apart down the entire side! Please can staff read the booking requests so that tables can be properly organised? Thought that was why details are requested?! Food was OK; salads a bit brown in places; steaks tasted good & were well cooked; cheese was excellent but service was flaky; too many different servers & we ended up billed for drinks that never arrived & had to ask 3 times for ice. Hence the 3 stars for this visit.

This Cote had great service, and a nice ambience. The food was very good and reasonably priced.

Booking at Cote was easy. The staff were very attentive and the service and food were excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We had a birthday celebration and were treated to a complimentary glass of bubbles and the cake (which we took in ourselves) was brought to us with lighted candle and a birthday song. We were left to enjoy lunch at our leisure and not rushed out the door. We then enjoyed more wine outside. Altogether a lovely afternoon. Thank you.

We have been eating at Cote Brasserie St. Katherine Docks for many years. It’s like being greeted and looked after by your family. The food and ambience is always spot on and great value for money. We would highly recommend it to all!

As always we enjoyed our meal at Cote. The staff were curtious and attentive. The food was good and the wine also. We stayed for over 3 hours and did not feel rushed at all. Thankyou we really appreciate the good value for money Cote experience.

Ok. But service was not very good. Had to wait too long for food and waitress to come to table! Some were even upset!

Stopped for lunch. Service was quick and efficient and we had a very pleasant table for two overlooking the dock. Food was good but not exceptional, noise levels were high due to the animated conversation around us and lack of sound deadening decor

An absolutely wonderful experience. I booked the table 3 hours before we turned up and asked for a window table as we were celebrating my mums birthday. We turned up and there were four complimentary glasses of Kir Royale. A wonderful start to a fantastic meal. Francesca was a wonderful waitress, attentive with fantastic customer service skills. Making our birthday celebratory meal a memorable experience. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much!!

We had a lovely meal sitting outside overlooking the dock. However it was very busy inside, noisy and cooking smells not so good.

Loved our meal and the evening as a whole. Beautiful location and views. We had the most fantastic waitress I only wish I’d got her name however I’m sure she was Italian. Exceedingly thoughtful lady.

Lovely setting but the olives seemed really old and we had to send a steak back. The service however was very good

For a "quick lunch menu" the food was surprisingly slow - we were there for over an hour. The food itself was okay, but far from spectacular - minute steak not properly browned (barely cooked with a few cursory sear marks), sea bream overcooked. When I asked for the bill I was told "there are other people also waiting", while I could see several waiters unoccupied in the half-empty restaurant.

Would of given 6 stars but there was no Rose wine in the venue even though it was on the menu... the service was excellent, the waitress was very attentive made my mum feel very special for her bday and the food was exquisite.

Forgot our starter and tried to charge us for it even after we mentioned it. Bad service. Had to get up three times to look for a waitress for steak knives that were not brought for steak. Butter. Water and paying the bill. Not impressed at all. Other restaurants are much better. Also the restaurant was practically empty so you couldn’t blame it on being busy.

Food delicious as always first waitress exceptional second on shift change not as good had to repeatedly ask for water & bill, however Gabriel the manager quickly sorted out issues. Love the place.

I love eating at Cotes, on this occasion I had to ask for water on the table, there was no side dish placed for olive stones, and ask for balsamic vinegar when the bread arrived as it came in it’s own.
