What a beautiful location for a speedy meal in a city where there is plenty of choice. Loved it
Perfect as usual , can never fault this place . First class
Great Cote here. Beautiful setting and very attentive staff. Delicious breakfast as usual
Our visit to St Katharine's Dock was great. The food was great. Service was very good.
Great as always, love to have a nice dayout knowing im gonna be in good hands
Always happy to return here, never let down , food and service great as usual
We were exceptionally impressed with the service and food at the Côte which we have not visited before. An excellent location and speedy service. Five stars to all the team at Côte
Prices have increased noticeably but so has everywhere else so still represents good value for money. Portions were also smaller than before. Service and food quality are consistently good so overall a great experience.
Decent food, good service and a very nice atmosphere for a group visit.
I had reserved a specific table and had paid a deposit in advance as requested repeatedly by the restaurant. This was a very special occasion. On arrival our requested table was not available. The restaurant was noisy and totally full. We were then placed in the annexe part with admittedly the free bottle of prosecco (for a table of 6+) but the food was extremely mediocre. The lovely waiters and Steve the restaurant manager did their very best.
This was a lovely evening when the food and service were very good, we were in the second half of the restaurant which is always quieter. Service by maitre D' Steve was superb. With a welcoming free Kier Royal.
Had the fixed price Xmas menu Starter 10/10 Main ( rib-eye ) 10/10 Dessert 11/10 Faultless and service spot on. Thanks
Fantastic food on the extensive menu with plenty of gluten free options (I have coeliac disease). Great service and location.
Went here for breakfast but what a disappointment. The orange juice which always used to be freshly squeezed is now something like carton juice. I sent it back. Apparently a new supplier.... Poached eggs were overdone... Breakfast used to be a treat at Côte but in view of the changes we shall be avoiding unfortunately.
Excellent location, polite staff, delicious food. The manager was very professional and made our celebration even more special by serving us a free special occasion drinks. I always recommend this place to my friends.
Great service and atmosphere.. would recommend to anyone who want a classy lunch
Once again a disastrous visit to this Cote. I had an important guest. We chose from the fixed price menu and ended up waiting 2 hours for the starter. We were given complimentary bread to keep us calm. The main course never came. Admittedly we didn’t have to pay for our drinks and the starter but once again we were told by the lovely waiting staff that there had been a power outage, that there were problems in the kitchen. I now wonder why I keep my loyalty to this particular Cote Brasserie when there are numerous other restaurants in St Katharine Dock?
Every time I have eaten at this Cote restaurant since Christmas 2021 it has been a disaster. Pity because I work nearby and I usually get superb food at any other Cotes. Every time like this time there are serious problems in the kitchen, this time apparently there was a power outage. Again. I ask myself whether the new owners of Cote actually pay the bill? On the fixed price menu there was only one starter and one main available. The service is enormously slow because they are struggling in the kitchen. The waiting staff are superb and have to make up excuses for incompetence in the kitchen every time I have eaten there. What is going on??
Short of repeating myself, another disastrous visit with endless waiting time because there were again problems in the kitchen. Since I can cook well and am used to catering for large groups of people I offered this time to at least get the soup right. When is the senior cote management finally sorting this potentially lovely place out? The location is great with in and outside seating - so what’s wrong in the kitchen? I’d love to know.
Good was great , service was great and setting is amazing First Class
Our lunch was great. The food was very good as also the service. We will come again!!
We did have a very nice lunch in a good atmosphere. The food was great and the service also.
A pleasant restaurant in a great location overlooking the marina. Unfortunately I asked to see the Prix Fixe menu and surprisingly was told by our server that they did not have one. Later I was informed by a manager that they do have this menu, so did not appreciate being misled.
Amazing service and our waitress was very helpful, wine and food superb as always
Amazing as per usual New menu is great Will return
Perfect location, looking out over the dock/marina Great food /great wine
Stunning location, excellent value for money. Very happy indeed and will be back
Can't praise our experience at Côte St Katharine's Docks enough! We visited for a Valentines dinner and everything was excellent - service, cleanliness, atmosphere etc. The location by the docks was beautiful and perfect for a walk after dinner, and the food was incredible. We thought value for money was really good, and extra touches such as wine cooler next to the table were extra special. Would visit again in a heartbeat.
Me & the girls visit this restaurant regularly as the food is always great, we have never had any complaints. We tend to have the same menu items which are always cooked well and tasty.
We sat in the outside (indoor) section which was really nice as the main restaurant was very busy. The wait staff were really friendly and attentive and the noise level was minimal so we could converse easily.
We had a Christmas dinner here and whilst it was busy, our food came fairly quickly and was, as always, very tasty and filling.
This is one of my regular places to visit as the food is always freshly prepared and delicious, the service quick, the staff super friendly and it has one of the best views. I'm always happy to return.
We did have a very nice dinner, service was also very good
I am so happy that the prix fixe menu is back. And it has wonderful choices. I loved the Toulouse sausage lentil main dish and we both loved the tarte aux mirabelles as part of the fixed price menu. My friend went off piste and had the Swiss Alpine menu which overdoses you on cheese. Since the Swiss took over Cote the wine menu is great, plenty of French wines to choose from. Obviously prices have gone up like everywhere after Covid lockdowns.
There were actually two of us dining. We were shocked to find out that Cote has abandoned its fixed price menu. Very bad move. This apparently happened this week and is a decision the new Swiss owners have taken. Is to recoup the losses through the Covid lockdown? They have also introduced a new wine menu which is of course charging so much more for very ordinary (house) wine. The menu is now very slim and since I know everything on that menu already, being a frequent Cote diner all over the UK, this leaves little choice, particularly for my friends who are vegetarian. We both had the fish parmentier which is always delicious. There were no available soft drinks/ non alcoholic cocktails for my friend so she had to make do with water and a Coca Cola. The waiting staff at this restaurant change frequently which is a shame. Though I did recognise the lovely lady from Puglia who was rushed off her feet.
Service very slow initially but this was due to a rather large Christmas Party who were having a great time. Quite noisy for a while but we managed and the food was excellent. Would definitely revisit.
Our lunch at Katharine’s Docks was very good. Also the service was very good. We will come again.
Lovely evening. The head maitre d’ welcomed us with a complimentary kir royal since she recognised me as a regular guest. We had our favourite seat by the window and the cassoulet de Toulouse was stupendous and so was the onion soup. We’ll be back!
Since I wanted to show the place off to my girlfriend I took her this this Cote. Our favourite Cote restaurant in Charlotte Street had sadly closed. This one is a wonderful location and you can still sit outside on the terrace overlooking the St Katharine's Dock Marina. We were given a booth in the back of the restaurant which means it was not as noisy as in the middle part of this very large Cote. We had a main meal from the main restaurant, the Duck Cassoulet with Tolouse Sausage. Delicious!!! huge portion. My friend always eats the same thing: Steak frite with extra garlic butter. And a side salad. You cannot go wrong. Lovely staff
My friend and I were welcomed by the maitre d' with great pleasure. We had a lovely window seat overlooking the marina. The Turkish waitress from Istanbul was delightful. She was extremely attentive and asked at every course whether we were enjoying the meal. The restaurant was very full but she still took the time to pour our wine and make us feel very welcome. The food is always excellent, served quickly and hot at this Cote - it can get very noisy.
Really lovely meal, great food and high levels of customer service.
Happy to return anytime , the food is amazing , although i missed the hollandaise sauce from the steak section , which is an absolutely match. Strongly recommended
Great view and always lovely food what we enjoy, but we really sorry to hear that they dont have on the menu anymore the Charcutier board which is the best thing as a starter !
Lovely short lunch . Food is fresh and service very friendly. Will be back again
Great el fresco dining. Lovely location & good meal. Would recommend
Lovely setting on the marina. By far the best looking Cote I have been! Staff very friendly
Despite having used the "Cote at Home" service during lockdown, this was our first visit to a Cote in almost 18 months and our first ever visit to this particular restaurant. We were given the choice of indoor or outdoor dining, seated promptly, overlooking the dock, and offered drinks and appetisers. Sadly, we weren't offered the updated "Fixed Price" menu initially, but this was quickly put right when we asked for it. The two previous fixed price menus have been combined into one single "Main" menu that has more choice whilst still offering great value. It's great to see that the prompt and friendly service levels have been maintained despite the lockdowns and I am already looking forward to my next visit to the chain.
Excellent service and great food, my wife’s dinner came up cold but they replaced it and took it off the bill without being asked. The staff are friendly and attentive. GREAT
Always good reliable food and friendly service exceptionally priced definitely recommend
Incredibly kind and helpful waiting staff, the outdoor seating with heating was perfect considering the current restrictions enforced by the government
