A group of 6 had a celebration meal at St Katherine's Dock yesterday. We sat on the verandah looking out over the dock, position couldn't have been better. Food and staff were great, and to complete our evening's visit, Cote gave us a bottle of bubbly to enjoy with the birthday girl. Thank you for everything, just a shame we had to leave very smartly as we had a function to carry on to. Will definitely be visiting again.

We booked a long time in advance with a request to be seated by a window as we had visitors from abroad. On arrival we were told the table we wanted was booked for another party. Had they really booked before us? I doubt it. It would not have mattered if we had had an apology that they could not meet our request, but it was all rather off-hand. As a regular visitor to Côte we felt this was not their usual standard.

Have eaten at other Cote restaurant where everything was great and thus selecting this branch. Service was poor and having been seated waited what seemed eternity to be approached to take an order (at this point had to specifically ask if we could order some drinks). 3 of our party ordered ribeye steaks. One in particular was for the large part uneditably fatty. Whilst at end of meal Manager said that she had not been happy with the meat supplies she had been receiving recently and deducted this cost of this particular steak from the bill, she at no time bothered to come across and personally apologise to the guest (who was visiting from the USA) concerned. Service generally was poor with waitresses for the most part seeming disinterested. Could not get out of the restaurant quick enough when the entry and seating of a very loud group of guys completed a very forgettable evening.

Great service despite being so busy. When we were told that a dish wasn't available we were given some free bread which was a nice gesture.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at St Katherine's Dock. Beautiful setting with lots of fantastic boats moored right outside windows. Food was very good and the service was good, too.

Very nice food and helpful staff. I did ask specially for a quiet table and this request seems to have been ignored, but it didn't really matter as the restaurant was not very full.

Food was delicious. Service was excellent. It was my parents 30th wedding anniversary and they gave us sparkling wine and desserts on the house as a congratulations! Will definitely return!

On holiday in London and booked into the Bridge Theatre for the evening performance so chose Cote for our pre-theatre meal. Food and service excellent. When remarked that the main dish had been a bit on the cool side, the response was immediate and first class in terms of customer service.

The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. When I called to make a phone reservation the staff were not willing to offer a seat outside and explained that these seats were given on a first come first served basis despite the fact that a booking service is available. The food was delicious and bought out in a timely way and all together. The second round of drinks took a over 10 minutes to arrive and a portion of fries that was ordered together with the round of mains came around 10 minutes after and only when staff were prompted.

Reservation handled effortlessly. Offered a table outside in the shade. Chose the quick menu of chilled vichyssoise and chicken salad. But sent the salad back as unsure if the endive leaf was washed or not, certainly many black speckled on the edges, and it was tired, limp and shrivelled. It was replaced, but my colleague had finished his meal before my replacement arrived.

Had a lovely lunch with friends, however I ordered the seafood linguine and was very disappointed. I had food envy as the pork belly is so much better, but as I had had this before I wanted to try something different. It was really bland and the shellfish were really gritty. Next time I will order the pork belly!

Great food and service-just let down by poor air conditioning in the area that we were sitting and became very stuffy. Would recommend to others.

The food and service was excellent. The location was fantastic. The only reason why I gave it a 5 and not a 6 was because you only had watercress on your plate as apposted to a bit of side salad. And the side salads that I ordered the lettuce was a brown on the edges

Very happy with our recent visit to The St. Katharine Docks, offered outside heated terrace table to dine which gave us a beautiful view. Food very prompt and tasty. Slight problem with the bill at checkout but sorted out straight away. Would definitely recommend

Good food, good value, slowish service, very wobbly tables. Nice setting overlooking St. Katharine's Dock but alas, we had to move inside as the weather turned cool & windy.

Service was very slow, mains took over 30 mins to come out once our starters were cleared and we saw a member of staff come out of the stall in the ladies bathroom, fail to wash her hands and then go behind the bar and start handling glassware. Not impressed. The actual food was fine when it finally came.

Been to this Cote multiple times and it has always been fantastic. Tonight it was ok. Ordered a rare ribeye steak and it came medium. The waitress was quite abrupt and stroppy. However overall it was still nice.

Good food, good value, good atmosphere. Bit surprised though when one of our party ordering from a set menu was asked to choose her dessert at the same time has her main course (never happened before at other branches) and then had to wait for it to arrive after the other 3 of us got ours

I just love this restaurant....the setting and the service was outstanding (thank you Michal) as always. My sea bass was superb. However, I have marked down because my dining companion felt that his vichyssoise was rather bland and could have done with a bit more seasoning and the marriage of chicken and Roquefort cheese in the Chicken Paillard salad was not exactly made in heaven. But hey ho not every choice in this life is perfect. The crème caramel made up for that. It is truly the best crème caramel I have ever tasted! Can't wait for next time!

Enjoyed a lovely evening there last night with my daughter. The food was delicious . It was very busy lots of people eating outside the staff were run of there feet, but they were all very calm and pleasant, the young lady who served us was Deborah excellent , I was appalled that someone's baby had been sick all over the floor and they just carried on eating and drinking while Deborah cleaned it up, not once did she pull a face or grumbled she just got on with it with a smile. If that had been me I would have been very apologetic and cleaned it up myself, but perhaps EAstern Europe people don't do that. A very enjoyable evening and as I said the food was delicious , my local Cote is in Leeds and a go there frequently .

The food was fantastic and very promptly served as I finished each course. The only reason I haven't given full marks is because my waitress didn't order the side dish I asked for and I was not given the option to remove the gratuity it was just expected which I do not agree with, the option should ALWAYS be the customers. To add my waitress also took my card and did the contactless payment for me; I need to point out I did NOT ask her to.

Nice meal. Relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately one of our group had a small piece of China in their meal, but the staff were very apologetic and a reduction was made to our bill without any pressing from us, so I would rate the service as good.

I have eaten in Cote literally hundreds of times and the St Katherine's Dock branch is my favourite but for the first time last night the food was not fantastic. The prawns and garlic starter had no garlic i could see or smell at all and came with soggy pieces of bread and a tasteless "canned tomatoes" sauce. Truly unappetising. The starter mussels for my husband were stone cold. The sea bass main course was tasty but again cold and the green beans were very undercooked. The steak tartar and Half Roast Chicken were good and we had no complaints there and the service was excellent but the above dishes really were poor last night. I am sorry to give this review as it is a family favourite for us.
