The food was excellent as always, brought out very quickly but did not feel rushed out.

Came for my birthday. A wonderful experience as always. The staff are so friendly and the food delicious. All in wonderful period surroundings at a fair price. Michael

Excellent service from staff the steak I had was rather tough the staff took it away and brought another, which was perfect. They also brought new fries . Cannot fault

They served us delicious, genuine French food, and the service was good. I like the friendly atmosphere, which reminds me of when I used to live in France. Definitely my favourite restaurant in St Albans.

We go to Cote in St. Albans regularly and are always greeted warmly on arrival. The service is quick and polite and we return as we always have a great experience and good food.

I enjoyed my meal. My husbsnd had the the fillet steak was very tender. My sirloin was good but hes was better. Service was very good with friendly staff.

Good service and well prepared food. Restaurant has a almost two-tier feel, and we were definitely seated in the lower tier – tatty ceilings and a corridor location.

St.Albans Cote is a great Brasserie in a good location. The food and service is always good. We think it is the best place to eat in St.Albans

Service was ok. Ordered a sausage baguette for breakfast. The baguette was a acceptable size for cost, however, inside was only 1.5 thin sausages barely filling half of the baguette.

The service was good, steak tartare was bland and tough, sirloin steak was watery, bouf bourgignon was fine, nothing special. Wine was very good. fries were surprisingly good.

Good service generally .Staff were polite.The three meat eaters with me were happy with their meals.I wonder why when I order fish there are never as many vegetables accompanying it as my meat eating friends receive.

The 4 mark was our experience on entering the restaurant as we had to queue outside in the cold because there were so many people waiting to be seated. 10 out of 10 for the experience once inside.

very enjoyable evening I thought the food was very good. Service was very attentive without being over fussy. Lacks a little bit on the atmosphere front but at least you could hold a conversation.

There was a lot of lettuce. mizuna and such like in my selection and if I had known to expect that I would have made a different choice.

Great service. Boeuf Bourguignon needed a bit more juice - became dry with the mashed potatoes. That's all and don't need 25 words to comment.

Waitress in need of basic training. First course poor, not properly cooked. Told waitress who took no notice. 2nd and 3rd course ok but nothing special. Cannot recommend.

Everyone was so lovely and funny at the restaurant. The food was delicious as always. Our waitress (Lauretta?) took very good care of us and helped us with sorting out the birthday cake we brought with us and made us laugh a lot!

We received a very warm welcome by meet & greet as did our guests who are new to Côte & most impressed. All our meals were well presented, hot & delicious. Wine & coffee good as well. Waiting staff most attentive, so a big Thankyou to the chefs & staff.

We were 6 for lunch and the restaurant staff found us a table with space for the baby buggy. The food and wine was great as always. The fussy eaters were very happy with the roast chicken and fries and the others were happy with more exciting dishes. The service was friendly and efficient. We will be back.

Restaurant was quite busy and we were surprised at how many children were there as it doesn't seem to us to be very child orientated. We ate from the lunch set menu and the meal was nice and great value (3 courses for £13.50). I particularly enjoyed the Lamb Parmentier and the Crème Caramel. Our waiter disappeared before bringing the bill which meant we had a bit of a wait but otherwise it was an enjoyable meal.

We were a bit unlucky on Boxing Day. There were no tiger prawns, no mussels and no cider. These were all things we wanted! It all felt a little mediocre.

We go, as a family, for a christmas eve dinner every year. As always, the food was excellent and the service was spot on with a lovely friendly waiter.

As always great service and good food! If we were to nit pick the chap who greeted us wanted to seat us in a really busy area with children which after Christmas Day with my family I didn’t need! Also when we sat down the table was dirty! But it’s a great place I could eat there always!

The staff were very helpful and friendly., and food was good. Central to the town. We have eaten there before and will do so again.

Restaurant was cold so air-conditioning was turned off. It then kept getting turned back on so we were constantly cold during the evening. My fillet steak turned up looking like a sirloin so I sent it back. When my fillet turned up it was slightly over cooked cooked. They did deduct it off the bill but was a disappointing evening.

Lovely Pre Christmas brunch with friends. Difficult to choose as so many yummy items on the breakfast menu. Our waiter was very friendly and helpfu. Highly recommend this venue for breakfast.

Great value and very tasty pre Christmas brunch in a fun atmosphere ticked all the boxes from the 50 year old down to the 5 year old!
