Côte St Albans

Fantastic as always, great food and service, never had a bad experience at Cote which is why it's one of our favourite restaurants.

a Pleasant venue for a convivial lunch with old friends

We like Cote & it lived up to expectations. Only problem was the noise levels which can affect 'older' people especially if wearing hearing aids.

We had another lovely evening at the Cote. I had the early evening set menu and my husband had his favourite french onion soup and rib eye steak off the main menu and then realised it was on the Prestige set menu which we missed as it was on the back of the early evening set menu. That was good value. Good night though

Cote’s breakfast is the best! A must try for sure

Very noisy to the extent that we could not communicate. Food basic but very good service and present staff.

Pleasantly average food, good service but incredibly noisy! probably won’t go again on a Saturday night. Had the on- line booking offer of blood orange martinis which were very nice.

Lovely food. Loud noisy atmosphere but it was a busy Saturday night. Service was good but staff looked stressed and hurried throughout the night, we had to find staff to pay our bill.

I have already done this. My comment was that the service and food were good, but it was so noisy with family groups, that we had difficulty holding conversations. But it was a Sunday evening,so maybe that was to be expected. The tables are too close together and the noise reverberates.

food was gorgeous, had 3 courses and enjoyed each one, early bird menu so very cheap as well, staff great as always. will be returning very soon

Cote St Albans is traditional French dining with modern imagination and excellent service. There’s plenty of choice even on their set menus, and the food is always delicious and beautifully presented.

We were a party of 8 for lunch and we all were very happy with our meals and with the service we received, I would recommend Cote as a place to eat in St Albans.

Cote offers a relaxed and cosy atmosphere, combined with an excellent level of service and very good food. A lovely evening out for a couple or a group of friends.

Good service despite it being busy. Cote is very switched on about gluten-free dining which is reassuring for people with coeliac disease. Food was well cooked and tasty. Waitress was attentive and personable.

Great food and great service too. The restaurant was quite empty as it was 13th February but that suited us. Meteor beer is really good too.

The starter was ok. The medium steak was absolutely delicious. The desert was nice. The staff were lovely. It's a good location and has plenty of pre and post places to drink and hangout.

The Cote in St. Albans is always friendly and liveley. There is a good selection on the Menu and the food is always good and well presented. We go there most weeks for a meal.

Great to be served by the ever friendly team but service was a bit hit and miss due to the volume of customers and it was a bit chaotic ( not the fault of the staff) thanks to rowdy, drunk table of 10 next to us. Will continue to visit on a Friday night - a great night to be st Cote St Albans

We repeatedly return for the warm welcome, efficient service and beautifully presented menu choices. We appreciate the size of the restaurant where you can take your time over a meal in an attractive venue.

Good food and wine, as usual. My friend's husband was taken ill briefly and the staff dealt with it very efficiently and discreetly. Good atmosphere and looking forward to another visit.

As usual, very good food, friendly and competent staff. This restaurant is one of the few in St Albans to achieve this very happy combination.

A good price and good quality. The St Albans site is very large and loses some ambience as an result. Sunday morning is clearly a pre- family walk time. So lots of children in which creates a nice feel
