Good meal generally. Service also friendly except for a mix up with dessert. Unfortunately the waiter repeated loudly and certainly within our earshot that we HAD ordered the dessert he brought. He obviously misheard and should have dealt with it more subtly. The customer is always right!! For £15 service on a bill for 4 people I would have expected better.

Excellent. Service terrific. Food very good and ambiance and atmosphere really wonderful. Will be back!

We felt rushed. The chicken was quite dry. Didn't appreciate the 12.5% service charge being added. I probably won't come back again.

I haven't been to Cote St Albans for a long time as the service/ food is never quite right - never experienced this elsewhere - just St Albans. It is my nearest Cote so I thought it must have improved by now, but unfortunately not. Its not dreadful but there is always something not quite right. Our starter was brought almost as soon as the garlic bread was brought - how did we have time to eat this (or have room for it on the table). The peas were rock solid and inedible (and taken off the bill). We were offered our main course as soon as starters were cleared - perhaps this is your policy but surely restaurant serving staff know the right time to leave between courses? No other restaurants I have been to have this issue. I am back to my original view -not awful, but just not great. Perhaps staff should go to work at other branches to see that it doesn't have to be like this?

We had a table of 20 last night and from start to finish it was an excellent evening. Elena and the team were very good and looked after us very well. I would recommend them 100%

Great but they didnt have soya milk for a soya latte, nowadays thats fairly basic isnt it for people allergic to milk, other than that it was excellent as always. It is always quite loud at Cote when it gets full, some acoustic damping would go a long way.

We had a fabulous night. When I booked I mentioned that it was my girlfriends birthday. We were giving Kir Royale on arrival and a Verne brûlée with a candle and happy birthday was sung. Corny but very thoughtful. 100% going again.

Cotes St Albans was OK. Service needs reviewing as very slow and not always able to understand what waiter was actually saying. Lot of noise as busy, low ceiling didn’t help. Food was nicely presented. Had to get up and ask for bill as wait was endless.

We are regular visitors to Cote Brasseries, St.Albans, London and the newer one in Watford. Always good.

Waitresses very attentive on several visits Laura and Isabella always remember our favourite drinks and food.

All very positive - we did have to ask for wine list 3 times but service in general was good.

Food was lovely, service was a bit slow after ordering starters and main course. We always had to ask for pudding menus, more drinks and coffee, it wasn't offered. The staff are very nice and friendly though.

We went to the Cote on Friday evening for a meal. We were greeted by a very pleasant lady who let us choose a table, gave us menus and the complimentary bottle of water. The food was delicious and we’ll definitely be back.

What a wonderful meal! We both chose from the April set menu and were delighted with everything. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant itself was a delight.
