Côte St Albans

Booked a table for our one year anniversary, and had one of the best evenings of food in a long time. The starters were good portions, and cooked to perfection. The mains were not rushed out but instead given a good amount of time before being served, and were still nice and hot. overall a wonderful evening and would recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful meal last night from start to finish. The staff were attentive, warm and helpful. The food was all delicious and the attention to care for allergies was very reassuring. We were celebrating my son's 21st and he was given a glass of Prosecco when we arrived & they brought his dessert with a candle without being prompted. We look forward to going again.

Very good, even though a waiter managed to drop a dirty knife (not even from our table!) onto my lap. Fortunately my hand happened to be there and stopped the mess from dirtying my skirt and fortunately didn't cut me.

Lovely lunch. Great atmosphere. Good food. Great offers. Would definitely return back.

The Plat Rapide chicken was good, as always, but what on earth did they do to the veggie risotto?! Mushy, with far too much green material - various mushy leaves and long asparagus fingers - cluttering up what should have been a much simpler platter. The risotto wasn't always this wet or busy - I would not have it again. Service sloppier than usual - no second water appeared until a prompt was issued.

Food good but very disorganised/poor service which spoilt the night. Would think twice about going back again especially with the service charge included in the bill despite service being terrible.

Brilliant and will definitely go again for breakfast - willing to let us sit outside even though that part of restaurant was not really open.

Had steak frites. A bit disappointing really. A tough bit of meat some fries and green beans.

Wonderful evening to celebrate a friend s 70th birthday. The staff made huge fuss of her. The table was tastefully decorated and she was brought a lovely dessert. Excellent food as always.

nice food as always , however after politely asking for seperate bills as one member wanted to pay for 3 people , this was not acted upon and caused the expected embaressment at the end which we wanted to avoid, we arrived as 7 and left at 10 and had 2 courses so service was very very slow , but a nice meal foodwise

Very friendly and accommodating staff, the service was very good. We sat in the rear courtyard which was delightful. Food was fine though portion wise, the moules and frites was a little on the small side.

Our first time at this branch of cotes. Everyone of the staff we came in to contact with ensured we had a lovely evening despite some of our group being late! Will definitely be returning! Thanks for a great night.

Food was above average service excellent Choice excellent especially the specials. Loved the special gin and tonic would of had two but they run out of ingredients. Online booking was excellent easy to use . Love the classics

An excellent relaxing al fresco lunch after a busy morning in St Albans. Sitting in the fresh air away from the traffic and having an enjoyable meal made the trip worthwhile.

Cote St Albans is our favourite chain locally. Food always delicious and very good value for money. Staff are always very courteous and knowledgable.

A good, varied menu with Specials each month, makes each visit to this warm and friendly Braserie a real pleasure.

Waitress very attentive We are regulars believe the Cote to be the best reasonably priced restaurant in town always feel welcome.

This is the best cote I have been too. beware the Barbican Cote. Very Poor.

Delicious food , friendly staff, No children's menu offered for my little girl and we had to wait ten mins before soneone came to take.our order which we cpuldnt make as hadn't got the children's menu and hadn't been able to ask for it until that moment .
