Excellent service, food generally very good. One plate had stone cold vegetables when mentioned to waiter they immediately offered to replace the whole plate, but we were happy for them just to provide fresh hot vegetables which they did promptly. When bill arrived they didn't charge for this meal which we felt was very reasonable of them. all in all a good experience

We ordered a bottle of red wine which was very nice. Why did the waitress pour the whole bottle into three glasses right up to the top? Training needed. Food was excellent! The pork belly is awesome.

Great food and atmosphere. Waiters and other staff were lovely and the food was brilliant. Could do with a little more spacing between tables, and the restaurant was quite noisy.

Meal was exceptional value for money. We had the three courses for £13.50. The drinks were good too. Only downside was that it was so hot in the restaurant. We would have stayed longer but had to get outside for some fresh air.

Excellent service. Steaks not cooked as ordered but were still good and we did not send back. Starters were very good - generous portions. Wine excellent - and speedy at the end with coffees and the bill. Overall a good experience.

Breakfast menu doesn't have that many options. Service was a little slow. Prices are slightly on the pricey side, but the quality of food is good so works out OK on value for money.

Good location overlooking the river. Good ambience and I think the floor wasn’t as hard as in some places so it didn’t seem as noisy as many places are these days. Attentive staff and delicious food!

The welcome and service were excellent, and the pre-theatre menu good value with a fine range of choices. Starter of mackerel and pudding of crumble were up to standard but the main course of coq au vin, although pleasant ,lacked definition and taste and was swimming in too much gravy. This was particularly disappointing as I'd had the same dish on the same menu at Cote camden Town a few days before, where it had been delicious and much better cooked. A detail to notice that doesn't undermine a well-judged formula that keeps us using Cote regularly before we go to the theatre.

For the majority of our party of 10 this was a first time visit to Cote for breakfast. One of our party had made the recommendation and was a little embarrassed at the service we received. We didn't all arrive at the same time, not usually a problem, but we had to constantly ask for service. Coffees and teas were ordered, coffees came up but no tea. Had to get up to ask where the tea was only to be given a look of disdain that we had had the nerve to ask. Breakfast was served with hard boiled poached eggs and anaemic looking sausages. The breakfasts ordered came with toast, however as we were all getting near to finishing our food the toast had still not arrived. Yet again we had to find someone to ask and yet again were given short shrift. The pots of jam on the table were for 'display purposes only' being told rather curtly this after trying to open them for sometime - they were glued shut. All in all it was a very disappointing experience, even though we were given money off of the bill I'm not sure I would visit again.

Excellent atmosphere and fabulous location Thameside. Unfortunately one of our party was disappointed with her meal of mussels which were gritty - the restaurant did, however, take the price of this off the bill and certainly investigated her concerns. Otherwise could not fault the service and food.

Cold temperature inside. Left us waiting for our table for over 5 mins.Poor service.Didnt clear table between starter and main. Forgot a main side dish-worst experience at a Cotes ever. Not up to Cotes usually high standards. Disappointing, particularly given the iconic River Thames location.

AMAZINHG service and good as always, couldn’t recommend here enough!! Attended to our every request before the meal with regards to table and having a bottle of bubbly ready for when we arrived (was my mum’s birthday). Love the staff at Cote - Mario was a star!
