Côte - Hay's Galleria

The food was great but the service really let Cote down on this occasion. Blase, aloof, rather disinterested waiter. Such a shame. Also, the 12.5% service charge being automatically added to the bill is very unwelcome.

Everything was first class. The food was delicious , the service excellent and the location was very good as it helped us to appreciate the city of London particularly the south bank.

Food good, wine ok but pricey. Service good as always at Cote, Hays Galleria is one of my favourite venues, have eaten here many times.

Excellent. Helpful staff, good service. Good selection of food and wines, reasonably priced. Location minutes away from London Bridge, opposite Customs House and next to HMS Belfast does no harm, especially in the evening with the Thames lit up.

we come here often and its very reliable and with friendly and efficient staff. food was very good, my children well looked after and we look forwards to our next visit

I would normally give full marks - but they had run out of Fougasse! Which we all love! Everything else was very good, great food, lovely staff and excellent value.

It was the expected experience. Sometimes it can be hard to live up to expectations. The COTE managed this challenge. Coming back to London after 4 years my wife and me decided to revisit the COTE to make it a perfect first evening. Excellent starters, wine, steak to the point and delicious desert. Looking forward to our next visit in 4 years?

second time we have eaten at this chain of Cote restaurants and have been delighted with the delicious food and gluten free menu; there is a nice atmosphere, children are welcomed and the food is fine French dining done extremely well

Came around lunch time and of course it's a busy time but nevertheless food came on time and service was good. Overall a lovely lunch for a lovely day out

Good menu with a wide choice. Pleasant surroundings and quick, efficient service. Prices are reasonable for central London too. We will visit again in the near future.

Love Cote always great value for money, and wonderful food . Staff well trained polite and on the ball . We will of course be back.

Friendly welcome and very efficient, prompt service. Good breakfast choice which was served and cooked perfectly - coffee also excellent. Cater well for food intolerances with gluten free menu and came to check the Genius bread would be suitable. Fresh jar of jam on table a nice touch. Great value especially the Formule which included fresh juice and coffee.

From the minute we walked in we were looked after, given a choice of tables. Very attententive waiter who looked after us, food was lovely. Would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back.

Very attentive and friendly service, food & wine was lovely (we had the Syrah). Great location, especially in the summer as there are tables outside overlooking the Thames, can see HMS Belfast, Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Reasonably priced overall. Will visit again.

Great venue but food came out cold and service wasn't great - we were kept waiting over half an hour for the bill despite the restaurant not being busy at all

Lack of a bar area is an issue when meeting friends at the restaurant when they are arriving separately. Otherwise, all good, very busy but our evening went smoothly enough.

Cote always delivers. Great location, very high quality food and quick service. The berries with white chocolate sauce was delicious! We had a charming (French) waiter who could not have been more helpful. First class.

Great food and service at a reasonable price. Cote always offers a great night out without the high cost of many other London restaurants. The wine choice is good too.

Lovely meal. Excellent birthday treat with the complementary Kir royale. God service and friendly staff. Oly the noise was a negative. some sound deadening would help greatly.

Food was good - chips were a little cold. Service for mains took a little long, so if you are going at lunch - you may need to be mindful.

I know Cote well, have often eaten at various branches. This one was excellent, food was good and our waiter was a real charmer and went out of his way to make our evening pleasant and enjoyable.

Good pre theatre menu with plenty of choice. Starters of pear and endive salad and whitebait were good as was main of sea bream. Good service.

The service was excellent - very efficient, polite and friendly without being over the top with attentiveness, which happens in some places. The food was very good. Overall a very pleasant evening.

Really good food from the set menu this time. Has veggie options. Lovely wine and prompt but unobtrusive service. Only criticism is that it was a bit noisy, but no worse than many other restaurants.

Very nice food. Had to ask for an ice bucket when I turned up it had no ice in it.Had to get another member of staff to get ice for it. Over all had a very nice time

Excellent service and location, and reasonably priced for London venue - we were a little late but that didn't cause any problems, very accommodating and welcoming.

Atmosphere and food were agreeable, service was good. The bottom step on the stairs is taller than the others, causing myself and my companion to stumble.

Lovely venue, great location, friendly staff, reasonable prices, varied menu of well cooked and presented food, coeliac approved. What more could you want? Will certainly return.

Rapid service, excellent value. Just what you need pre-theatre, and very convenient for the new Bridge theatre. Would recommend it - Cote is always very reliable.

7 people attended on a Sunday lunch time. The food was excellent. The service was not. It wasn’t busy but it was 20 minutes before we were offered drinks. The serving staff were sullen, unfriendly and unsmiling. Overall we were in the restaurant for nearly 4 hours and several times we had to get up to interrupt staff conversations to get more drinks and the bill. Service charge was included in the bill but we didn’t receive service which warranted it.

Great service started as we entered, and continued throughout. The location in the shadow of his Belfast is excellent, food and complimentary wine was excellent too.

I have been to Cote Hays Galleria many times. As usual excellent value, with a varied menu and professional, friendly service by a charming young French waiter. A friend and I spent a pleasant long, lingering lunch enjoying delicious, high quality, well presented food, wine and the best friendly service. Looking forward to the warmer weather when we can hopefully grab a seat outside to enjoy the stunning views of the Thames and City.

Good food, fast service and lovely setting on terrace overlooking the Thames, HMS Belfast and Tower Bridge. Great place to treat any guests. Heaters allowed us to eat outside comfortably in April! Lurvely!!

Excellent service, excellent value. Accommodated 2 extra late guests at short notice and held back mains so we could all have them together. Waitress even brought over a complementary Kir Royal as she overheard us wishing one of our party Happy Birthday. Complete and totallly unexpected surprise and a lovely, thoughtful touch.

Service was excellent - chicken looked anemic and should have been finished under the grill - too noisy by half, partly because of a group of 6 women seated near us.

Lovely quiet restaurant with polite and helpful staff. Food was excellent too with a great range of breakfasts and drinks. I hope to return soon.

Apart from they had given my booked table to another party ! Everything else was fine. Lorenzo, the manager was his usual charming self and made sure we were compensated for the mistake.

Excellent service as usual and a beautiful location as well as value for money. Cote’s loyalty scheme is something that other chain restaurants should follow.

Great location on Thames waterfront. Food all to a really good standard. Lemon tarts are too delicious. Good value. Waiting staff very efficient and friendly.
