We find a good food quality and very good service. A beautiful location too, on the outside tables on the river. I hope we come back
We had the three course pre theatre prestige menu and it was nice. The service was a bit slow but it was overall an enjoyable dinner
A great place to have Sunday Brunch, good choice, continental and traditional with vegetarian options, can sit outside by the Thames or inside if you wish.
Pork belly was mainly fat, other food was good. Nice wine
Lovely food and location. Service was great and we weren’t hurried - lovely way to spend a Saturday morning. One of our party has dietary requirements and othing was too much trouble. Thank you
We booked the restaurant for 7:30, but arrived at 7:00. No matter a table was found and made ready, . The service was prompt and curteous. Once ordered, the food came in a reasonable time. All the food was served hot and well prepared. Although the restaurant was busy, we were still able to hear ourselves speak and enjoy our meal.
Super welcome. Excellent staff. Were really under pressure but delivered fantastic customer service. Slow due to high volume on a busy Saturday night... food was all beautiful. Highly recommend.
Standard of food good (as usual) but service not that good - they seemed to be very understaffed. This was unusual so perhaps just an off day?
Slow service, waiters were confused with the order. Some side orders were so late, we’d nearly finished our Mains. Food that did come was ok though
Good food. Some of the staff were a bit rude.
Location Excellent. Starters good. The roasted cod was rather over-cooked and lukewarm - like it had been cooked too soon and had been standing around on the pass whilst we finished our starters. The plates were cold. Our waitress was friendly and having asked us how things were, took the cod away and returned with two plates containing warmer cod - still rather tough. The pudding was pleasant. We were happy to discover that we had not been charged for the desserts - a good-will gesture that worked. I would come again, because the service was good and I think that we would have enjoyed some of the other main courses on offer. I would say that serving lukewarm food on cold plates is far too common a fault in restaurants at this level. Please address this. You have a basically sound product, pleasant staff and a prime location. Attention to this detail would greatly enhance the enjoyment of eating in your restaurant.
Good food. Nice location. Reasonable price. Service a bit slow but good if your not in a rush and don't want to be badgered. Enjoyed it.
Good location, great food and great service. Particularly liked the August deal of a gin cocktail with the August a la cart menu. Made up for the wet weather outside.
A wonderful riverside location. Good food and excellent service. Great place for reunions. Good value for money. Well-priced and varied wine list. Great set menu
My companion eats a gluten-free diet. She ordered a chicken dish from the gluten-free menu. The waitress returned to inform us that there was none of that dish left. My companion had to have second choice. My main dish of veal had only a small garnish; I would prefer a dish served with vegetables.
All the staff were most helpful and looked after us very well. The ST Germain “gins and Tonics” were excellent. We Will come again. Derek C.
Slow service which was a surprise as I’ve been to this core lots of times before. Good food and nice atmosphere though so not all bad!
Disappointing on the whole. Steak overcooked and salty. Mussels lukewarm, gritty and again overdone. Service friendly, but barely coping with the volume of customers. Overpriced for what it was, sadly. Have had much better from Côte in the past (at other branches). Will think twice before revisiting, particularly at early evening.
Service was not to the usual high standard, but we recognised that working conditions were difficult in the extreme heat. Set menu had a very good range of options.
Fabulous location overlooking Thames and London at night. Very busy but service and food impeccable. Gorgeous duck confit. Gin and tonic with cucumber, elderflower and mint delicious. Marvellous evening.
Food was great, service was really slow but pleasant when they had time. Overall positive but could improve wait times and probably need more staff at peak times
Good table on the terrace, and prompt but not overbearing service. Efficient and plenty of tap water provided. Food good for the cost - only complaint is the peach crumble which was tasteless. Goats cheese salad main course was particularly good, but all the food was of a high standard and well presented.
Stack em in pile em high. Food was OK, very noisy, so hard to talk without shouting. No view from downstairs at all, even though we were by the window. Service was appallingly slow. Wouldn’t go again and wouldn’t recommend it.
Lovely setting overlooking the Thames not clear when you book you book for inside.Short wait on Monday night for river side table. Good meal as always
Service was slow although it reasonably busy. Very hot inside and it seemed air conditioning was not working. Food good however although mussels had broken shell left in sauce
Very nice pre-theatre meal in a pleasantly cool restaurant on a very hot evening. Lovely staff too. Would certainly want to go back again some time.
Very pleasant and efficient service and good food. Value for money on the early evening set menu. Great setting if you can get a table outside.
Good location and as expected full of tourists. Quick lunch with my daughter who works nearby. She had the Breton chicken but felt it was a smaller portion than she usually gets at Côte, I had the steak- which unfortunately was cold- the butter on top hadn’t melted. The waitress did offer to get another cooked, but due to time constraints this would have meant eating our meals separately. When the bill arrived they had taken it into account.
I have been going to this Cote branch for several years. Upon arrival my request for a riverside table was granted as I waited for my 2 friends. Once they showed they were quickly shown to my table. Unusually we waited a considerable time to be attended to even after I alerted a member of staff. Once our order was taken everything flowed well after that. At the end of the meal we were offered a complimentary drink, presumably to make amends for the earlier delay. We all accepted a coffee.
Staff are always lovely and helpful and the food is good quality (as is the wine!). The athmosfere is also very tasteful. The only chain restaurant I trust!
I visit cote often tower bridge, blackheth, Covent garde. I was very disappointed with my meal our waitress was not very friendly. I will not be going back to London as this not the first time I have been disappointed at that cote's Unfortunately London bridge is my local cote
Good food, well presented, and swerved by pleasant and efficient staff. We all enjoyed the delicious Summer Pavlova which was an ideal dessert for a hot summer evening.
Service very slow. Complained to new server as ours finished his shift !! Compensated by free bottle of wine. Food great as usual. Menu comprehensive and reasonably priced. 3 stars because of service.
Good food but not as good as first visit. Seafood linguine was quite disappointing in flavour. Pork belly was delicious and starters and desserts were lovely too. Saw multiple staff pick up chips that had tipped over when carrying it to the tables and put it back on the plate with their fingers. Waiters were friendly and helpful but quite slow in noticing you and taking orders. Booked a table in advance for outside but on arrival we were told we had to queue if we wanted to sit outside. So we chose to sit inside but was very hot!
Lovely food and lovely service from the waitress and waiter but front of house seemed extremely rude and came across “moody” no smile on arrival just shown to our table
Good food and service. The restaurant was very busy ,we did have to wait sometime for service. But understandable. Due to the work pressure staff where very nice
Great location adjacent to HMS Belfast at Hayes Galleria. Well designed interior but you do need to watch the stairs as the bottom step is deeper than the rest and it is very easy to fall, as I did. Good food but toilet facilities are cramped and not in particularly good condition.
Get here early if you want a seat on the terrace - we did and it was lovely- cool with a great view. Service was quick and friendly. The 3 of us had tuna nicoise and it was delicious - we asked for the tuna rare and it was cooked (or not!) to perfection and delicious. Lovely place, lovely staff, lovely food.
The lady who brought over our food and done drinks was lovely, very good at her job. Sorry I didn’t get her name! Great service.
Rather busy at lunchtime but food good. Lovely position by the river near Tower Bridge. Service friendly and efficient although a little slow because busy.
Food good but just one comment. We sat in a booth upstairs, 4 of us . Not too busy upstairs. After about 15 minutes the empty booth next to us was given to a lady and an extra chair was added which we thought strange . Her party arrived and were seated which boxed us in!! They are not made for 5 . We moved!!! And we were not pleased.
Convenient online booking system on mobile phone.. Greeted with a smile and enjoyed an excellent meal from a good menu. Staff very polite and enthusiastic.
The food was good and the service was fine. The food could have been a bit hotter when it came up. The wine was very good and we both enjoyed the evening>
Great food and wine. We were going to the theatre and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were served quickly
We really enjoyed our early evening meal sitting outside overlooking the river. The restaurant was very busy for a Monday but the staff were attentive and friendly.
Excellent spot for a family dinner when my parents were visiting. Food was great, atmosphere was good. Sound was a bit much, but that is to be expected in a full restaurant.
Very busy Friday night -seated within 3-4 mins, once seated service was quick and efficient, food was fine. We were left to our own devices without being rushed.
Booked a table for a group of 6 We had lovely food and the service was great. Apparently, the prailene crepe was “To die for”
Quality service from very attentive staff in a very clean environment. Quality food as expected served hot on warm plates. A good experience all round.
Great location on the Thames - but that's all that's great to be honest. I had a very underwhelming (and overpriced for what it was) salad, strips of chicken, couple of lumps of avocado, few walnuts and mounds of lettuce. The acoustics of this restaurant meant that we were shouting at each other all evening - it was a relief to leave and speak at normal levels again. What's most surprising about this place though is the appalling state of the ladies toilets! Two tiny loos, in a tiny bathroom which doesn't cater for the capacity of this restaurant at all. Both loo seats were broken and falling off, the sanitary bins were overflowing and the top of one of the taps came off in my hand (and everybody else's, witnessed whilst I was queuing to get in!) So badly in need of a refurb that it's embarrassing for a restaurant of its supposed stature. Sadly, I'll be giving this restaurant a pretty wide berth in the future!
