Staff were attentive but not pushy so we enjoyed the visit.... Only downside is if you serve white wine in an ice bucket it's always a good idea to put ice in the bucket as well....

Great food. Had to wait a little for the mains but the waiter noticed we didn't have our food and sorted it. Good choice of food available

Uninterested staff!! Booked a table for a birthday lunch and in the special instructions box had requested an outside table. Arrived to be directed to a table inside- even though there were plenty outside, so had to ask to be moved and then waited a further ten minutes. There were loads of uncleared tables as well and the whole outside area looked grubby. Had to ask for the complimentary st germain gin and tonics- even though this also was on the booking. The whole experience was painful. After nearly half an hour I asked if we could order. Placed the order which was then brought out and served by the food runner- which is not a problem at all, but being a regular at cote I know that this is not the usual procedure as usually the food comes up and then the server comes and serves the food. I’m not sure if the section was too big and he couldn’t cope- although it wasn’t full or if the server was just having an off day. Starter and mains came and went and then at 2.55pm the server came and asked if the food was ok as we had finished. We joked with him that it must’ve been good because we had both cleared the plates. Needless to say at 3.20pm the dirty plates had still not been cleared!!! And no staff member was in the section at all. When I went to the bathroom I saw that there was obviously a shift change taking place and all the staff we’re having some kind of briefing. Not good really!! I had to ask for the bill when coming back from the bathroom and the table still wasn’t cleared. All in all it meant that we had no time for dessert and they were unable to write the happy birthday message I had requested also. As we had to leave at 3.30pm to be somewhere else. All in all very very disappointing. The manageress did apologise as we were leaving but it’s a little too late by then isn’t it!! I’m finding this more and more with cote. The last few occasions haven’t been great at all!!

Overall fantastic and lovely complimentry drinks on arrival and attentive servers. Two of the steaks were undercooked BUT the complimentary desert for the birthday boy was really nice. Thanks definitely coming back!

The food and service were excellent , its right on the river with some tables outside on the riverside walk and only a short walk to London Bridge tube station. They have a gluten free menu and all the gluten free dishes come out with a little flag in them to avoid any confusion

I requested an outside table - twice - as I had visitors from Australia coming and thought they would appreciate the view. We were told, as there were six, we were being put inside. Not quite the same.

Great table with view, great food, piping hot, hush quality and freshly cooked. We really like the house red wine. Last but not least, excellent service, attentive and courteous. Recommend this branch of Cote.

We had a table outside, great view. Our waiter was very attentive and very obliging. The main courses were excellent as usual, hot and tasty and presented nicely and desserts so yummy. The August offer of a free gin and tonic was a nice touch too. See you soon!

Excellent location right by the river. Unfortunately it was raining on this occasion so we could not make use of the terrace. The food here is good. As per other Cotes but seemed to be better cooked. The gin and eldoflower cocktails are lovely.

I go to this restaurant quite often - though not as often as I would like - and everything... food, service, ambience... consistently seems to be faultless.

Tasty food, reasonable portions, friendly efficient service, good set price menu, and great location. We visited at 6 pm on a Wednesday. Not too crowded, though it got busier. We had sea bream and chicken salads, nice mix of ingredients. Followed by decent ice creams, good flavour.

Cote are usually brilliant when it comes to all things gluten. We had a waiter who was quite difficult and dismissive about the whole thing. Once we'd ordered we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the setting.

The food was very good. The waitresses were helpful and pleasant. At times, however, the restaurant was very noisy. Initially my wife found it too cold but the waitress helpfully adjusted the air-conditioning to a better temperature.

We were 5 ladies celebrating a 50th birthday. The food was lovely & the serving staff very friendly & helpful & even put a candle on her dessert & sang “Happy Birthday” to her as a lovely surprise! Have been to Cote @ Hays Galleria many times before & never had a bad meal.

Food was good but the service wasn’t great. Asked for a table outside & were told it would be 2mins after 5 we asked & was told 15. Went inside & then waited a long time before anyone came to take our order. But the food did come out quickly.

Overall a good experience. We came for a pre-theatre meal. Attention was prompt, cheerful and efficient, at least at first. The food was fresh and good. As we finished our main course, we seemed to have plenty of time so decided on dessert. However, by now the restaurant was very busy and we could not catch anyone’s eye. Time passed and there was no longer time for dessert, so we decided on just asking for coffee ( if anyone came). In the end even coffee was out of the question and when at last we caught the attention of a waitress we just asked for the bill. This is a really frequent issue, we have found, not just at Côte. The amount of attention received decreases as you get through your meal. Their loss, really, as we did without desserts and coffees. It has to be a problem of insufficient staff. But - we enjoyed our food and feel that this menu is very good value.

Always a great place for good food and service in a wonderful location by the river. On this occasion the food was tasty and although very busy, we did not have to wait too long for it. A very noisy party did make it difficult for us to hear our conversation,

Great location and luckily there were seats available outside! Wonderful views of the River Thames!! Very efficient and friendly service which is the same in all the Cote restaurants that I have visited. The food was delicious, nicely presented and generous portions!!! Cote restaurants deserve to do well, they know how to look after their customers!!!

We ate dinner on the terrace overlooking the Thames which only added to the overall experience! Food was delicious, service was friendly and prompt considering how busy they were. There was no sense of being rushed through dinner (as there was a queue) either. All these factors contributed to make it a lovely evening!

I regularly go there. It's always busy but the level of service is a bit of a hit and miss. They all seemed to be running around without paying much attention to clearing the tables or pouring the wine. Also we got our food from someone who looked stressed out and forgot customer service. They certainly didn't forget to add the service on the bill though! Also both our cods were overcooked. Disappointing.

Friendly staff and good food! We came here on a Friday night with a reservation and had a table upstairs - the outside area was jam-packed as it was a warm summer evening. Went for the set menu which was good value! This Cote is a bit more spacious than the ones in the West End.

This is my favourite 'go to' restaurant in London. We have booked it for college reunions and its been superb. Yesterday (sun) I took my daughter, son in law and 3 year old grand daughter there. However, we were left standing at the door for a while, then ignored at our table for a while. We had asked to sit upstairs and the waitress said it wasnt open yet. But there was a table of people up there. They weren't particularly busy. My daughter chose spinach and something which was very salty. The staff were pleasant, but we'll think twice about going again.
