Apart from the unusually slow service (it wasn’t busy), the food was great. The bid draw to this restaurant is its location; right on the Thames with views of Tower Bridge!
Lovely well cooked food. Serving staff the right amount of attentive. Atmosphere really nice. Would definitely go back again. Look forward to next meal there.
My wife and I have dined at Côte quite a few times, but tonight, Friday, 28.09.18, was exceptionally good, service was excellent, although it appeared our starter of olives was forgetten, no big deal, they were omitted from the final bill. Our mains were very good, and the wine and coffee was great, an enjoyable night.
Excellent value for money. Extensive menu choice with a La Carte menu and set menu weekdays if dining before 7pm. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good ambience in restaurant. Food is delicious and well presented. I dine in other Cote venues regularly.
Setting was really nice, on the bank of the Thames, watching the world go by. Excellent service, as usual for Cote, with varied menus to suit all pockets.
Disappointing, not up to usual high standards. Service was very slow and one meal was cold when served. However, this was deducted from the final bill.
Good food, wine and service, but tables close together so very noisy. Not the place for a quiet dinner! Fine if you have good hearing.
Delicious food, friendly and efficient service in a great location. We have been here before, but tonight we brought friends with us who were very happy with the food, service and atmosphere. Thank you.
Always have a good meal at Cote. The food and service is nearly always good and this was no exception.
Service was tremendous as usual in cote. we had the basic set menu (not the new prestige one) and food was OK but I think not as good as usual. (We are regular diners at cote)
Delicious food with a very professional presentation, fantastic service and atmosphere. Prices are extremely reasonable given the location and I look forward to going there again. I recommend to everyone.
A busy restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food was of a good standard. What I particularly appreciate is that no one rushes you to order or rushes you out the door when you have finished, so a good place for a catch up.
Warm welcome on arrival. Great service, thank you Annabelle. Food always very good, definitely recommend. A favourite restaurant of ours, we look forward to visiting again soon.
Excellent French food at very reasonable price. Service is prompt and attentive. Portions are generous and very authentic...all in all a delightful experience no doubt.
Restaurant was busy so service was a bit slow. Disappointing that it was a birthday meal and no happy birthday written on the dessert yet was done for another customer.
We were swiftly greeted and asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. Food and service were of the usual high standard. Still the best place I know for meeting up with friends - very convenient for London Bridge station
Food was very good, service was also very good. Only down point was that we were sat in the middle of the restaurant by the front door, which was open and the cold wind was blowing in on us.
Great restaurant, food service, atmosphere all fantastic. Complimentary fizz as a birthday celebration a nice surprise. Unrushed snd decent pace of service with great views of the river. 3 courses, bottle of wine and sub £90, excellent value.
I had an enjoyable lunch, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was nice as always. Would definitely recommend and I will be back soon!
The food was excellent and right opposite HMS Belfast, with great views of the Thames. The service was also excellent and overall reasonably priced 3 course meal.
Good food and brought quickly but had to hassle the waiters on several occasions for our water to be brought and replenished as well as take our order.
Excellent French-style food at affordable prices. Extensive menu with dishes and prices to suit a wide range of tastes. Stunning views from the terrace (weather permitting).
Lovely food and beautiful setting. Sat outside by the river, overlooking Tower Bridge and The Belfast, which was great. But strangely slow service by staff who didn't seem to want to give us the bill.
Lovely evening. Sat outside with the great view the resturant has . Both service and food lovely as normal. I had the mussels and friends steak and frites which throughly enjoyed . Prices very reasonable
Did ask for a booth to be reserved for me, but was told when I got there it’s only 6 people, even though it sat empty the whole time I was there.
Setting and comfort five star, greetings and reception 5 star, food almost 5 star, service a bit slow. A most enjoyable lunch. Will revisit soon.
Excellent food and service - I always say that I’ve never had a bad meal at Cote. My only small criticism this time that the steak frites was on the tough side, but tasty
Food is excellent, with the steaks really tasty, but be aware that it gets really busy and the service can get a bit frantic and minor requests may get forgotten.
We have really enjoyed the food and the ambiance of the restaurant. Great food and good value , never disappoints. Interesting, varied seasonal menu as always.
the menu offers a fixed price menu from 12 noon to 7pm but when we asked to see this we were told it was a printing error and not available until 3pm. As a goodwill gesture we were offered free desserrts
Very friendly staff did not the the 1st table we we shown too for 2 right in front of the bar was quickly changed...Good service all good ...
When we arrived we were each given complimentary drinks as it was my daughter's birthday. The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was great and we did not feel rushed even though it was a busy lunchtime. I highly recommend that particular restaurant and will certainly go back there again.
Was very good nice food and great service I would go again and would highly recommend very nice area as well with really good facilities
The service was prompt and friendly and the quality of the food of the usual high standard to be expected from Côte. On the down side the Ladies loo is cramped and appeared not to have had a recent check.
A nice spot with views over the Thames. Espexially in the evening as London is lit beautifully. There's always great service and the food is equally great too.
Enjoyed complimentary gin & tonics. Food delicious as usual. We were rather rushed to take our orders but struggled to get the bill at the end! Think the waiter was new as he couldn’t grasp how many meals we had ordered. Also we had to tell him not to clear empty plates until everyone had finished. Would have liked to have the choice of the set menu lunch but wasn’t on offer until 3pm. Apart from that everyone had an enjoyable lunch.
We all enjoyed our food and the Saumur Blanc. The service, by Annabelle (that was the name on the bill) was smiling and efficient. She sensed the pace at which we wanted to eat and, just as important, was happy that I took control of the wine bottles and poured the wine myself for our table of seven. Excellent!
Excellent service, waitress very polite and helpful. Menu very good variety and food excellent, sat outside with a lovely view of Thames side skyline. Would go again.
We sat outside which was a treat with lovely views of the Thames and the action going on around us . We are regulars with Cote as we generally know what we are going to get and it's always good value for money. Unfortunately this time however, both our sirloin steaks were tough and chewy, with quite alot of fat. Maybe they used a new supplier or maybe it was just a one off bad batch, as they were cooked as we asked them to be (medium rare) but we probably managed to eat 1/2 a steak between us before giving up (I had to delicately remove 2 mouthfuls before I just stopped eating it. Shame!
Thank you for a very enjoyable afternoon. we booked for 4 and were given a lovely table, the food and service were also excellent. Thanks once again Will definitely be back again.
Had a lovely lunch. Great menu with lots of choice and healthy options. Staff we really friendly and helpful too. We will defo be back!
Friday busy lunchtime booking. Quick and efficient service - we had reserved a table and was seated within minutes for a quick lunch. - FAB
Sat outside on the terrace prior to going to the Bridge Theatre, a 5-7 min walk away. Great slick service even though it was very busy on a warm summer afternoon. We had a great meal and I like seeing the senior members of staff mucking in - it makes a huge difference.
We only got 2 out of 3 starters! We waited over an hour for the main course. We got the wrong bill! And the waiters were rude! Not brilliant for Cote's normal standard!
The food was good , as always . The service was slow and not very attentive , but not bad enough to stop me coming again.
The food was not bad, restaurant is clean and food came on time , waiters have been very helpful, pleasant and friendly. Overall it is a pleasing experience.
Wonderful location, great seats overlooking the Thames. Food was very good and portions were good too. Staff were helpful and polite but overstretched so we waited longer than usual to order desserts, coffees and pay.
Lovely place in a nice situation. Very good service with nice staff. The food was up to the usual Cote standard. Too few Ladies Loos though!
Excellent restaurant with buzzy atmosphere great wine and food and good service. Great spot on the South Bank overlooking the Thames. Easy to get to as just a few steps away from London Bridge.
