Côte - Hay's Galleria

Great food and atmosphere at 08:00. Staff were really attentive.

A restaurant based in the scenic Hays Galleria. The restaurant is quite spacious and you for people watchers you get views of passer-by's walking. It is darkly lit but has a comforting feel. The service can be a little erratic and in our party one person had their order forgotten. However, the management was kind enough to deduct this from the bill. The food is to a good standard and the wine selection is excellent. Overall a good experience with some fine tuning to service needed to be great.

Nice food in a good location, everyone was very welcoming although it did feel like they wanted to get us through the meal quickly.

The first time we’d dined at this Cote and we were not disappointed. Same great breakfast and service.

Food was fine although we did feel a bit rushed ? would have liked more time between our courses, also a very noisy table next to ours ( not your fault obviously ) but very annoying as we were meeting friends, we would have liked to stay longer but felt under pressure to vacate the table, shame really as we would have spent more money at your establishment ? Overall though we would more than likely return but on a weekday !!!

Had a lovely meal here. Definitely recommend booking in advance, we as a table for 2pm Sunday and it there was a short wait for those without a reservation. V Impressed by wide range of gluten free options. Two of us also ate from the standard menu and one had the Xmas set menu, they were very flexible. House wine was lovely and French onion soup was really good! Service was good considering how busy they were but nothing special.

Slower than normal service to day Food was overcooked and had to be replaced.

Have often dined for lunch at Hays Galleria, it always has a good atmosphere. Today I booked a table for 5 for lunch. 4 meals were served and we waited for several minutes before last meal came. Side orders still hadn’t arrived. When explained our food was getting cold the waitress said she wouldn’t charge us for the sides. We did all enjoy our semi warm orders and the sides were ok. Our waitress was very attentive despite the restaurant being busy. I did have to explain to the waiter who gave us the bill to deduct the sides as the previous waitress had left without telling him.

Exactly what I required: quick, tasty lunch; attentive but not pushy staff. One criticism: this branch felt very cramped.

A Great visit to the Cote restaurant at Hays Galleria lovely atmosphere and the food was FAB.! Service was a great plus too.

Food was excellent and good value for money. Tarte au citron for dessert was delicious. Only spoiled a bit by being seated to a very large group which made it difficult to have a conversation without raising your voice.

Always very good value and good service will visit again

We (a family of 4 children and 2 adults) waited a long time to be served. We also waited another long time to be able to ask for the children's menu. And another long time for the bill. The food was poor, and did not match the quality of food at the Covent Garden branch where we go quite regularly. This visit was to celebrate a birthday, but it was disappointing I'm afraid.

Lovely food, lovely ambience, lovely staff, spotlessly clean, great menu, great service!

Excellent food great service BUT the tables are too close together feels claustrophobic and conversations are overheard and it is also difficult to move around with the tables so close

Be prepared to speak loudly. There are no sound absorbing surfaces and with rather low ceilings that makes for a very noisy evening. Service slightly over the top with “how are you”s, food and wine excellent, quick service, VG value for money on 5he 3 courses deal.

We made a reservation but they put us under the acondition (it was one for the whole restaurant) and was extremely hot. Even the waiter couldn’t work with such heat.

Great food and a lot of choice for Gluten Free. The restaurant is noisy when full.

Delicious meal before going to the Bridge theatre, great value with a lovely promotion which gave us a free bottle of wine when ordering a la carte. Excellent service.

Very nice meal, although calamari starter too big as I had difficulty finishing my main course. The restaurant had low ceilings which helped a lot with the level of noise. We had to ask for a different table when we arrived when we found we were across from a party of women who all have to compete nowadays with how loud they can be. Great food and service.

It was good but we waited one hour before receiving our mains. A bit too noisy. The waiter that served us was pushing a bit too hard for us having the most expensive dishes.

It was my visit to the Cotes Hay's Galleria and I must admit I was very impressed Excellent venue by the river and the service and food was extremely good. My dish grilled Tuna fish was the best I've ever tasted. My friends enjoyed their meal as well. I shall definitely go back there.
