We were celebrating my mother in law's birthday. The staff were excellent. One of our party considered her starter too salty and it was exchanged for something else immediately with no difficulty. The staff also brought out a cake with a candle in it and four glasses of pink bubbly which was very much appreciated. Sitting outside in this weather is lovely as well. There was a small wait for an outside table at 8.30 but that is to be expected.

Excellent value for money, the service was excellent and the staff was very helpful, they even allowed me to change my main course order at the last minute after I have finished my starter. Complimentary G&T was very nice. I would like to make a special mention on our server Axenia who was very friendly and she even complimented on my wife’s nice ear rings,

The restaurant was busy and the service poor which is unheard of for Cote in general. We waited 45 mins for our main courses. No one noticed or said anything until we did and even after all that time a steak had to go back as it was so rare when we had asked for medium rare. Very disappointed.

The food was reasonable but we waited al.ost an hour between the first and main course. Originally we planned a thre course meal but had to curtail it to two courses due to lack of time. A pity. The waitress waived charge for our bottle of wine but this was no compensation for a poor dining experience.

This is a restaurant that we like very much and where we have eaten often. On this occasion however service was slow and disorganised and several dishes on the menu were already sold out.

Slow service, smoked salmon as a starter was very basic and looked slightly old. Chicken as a main was good but rather dry. Had to wave for the waitress endlessly to get noticed

Used the restaurant many times, food, ambience, service good. Would be nice if you could fix the sinks in the Gents, they always seem to be broken, this time one of them had both taps not working, it’s annoying for a restaurant of this quality

Our waitress was very nice but service is extremely slow. We waited almost 45mn between starters and mains. Not all mains were brought at the same time, with some of us waiting 10mn for theirs to be delivered. It was also quite hot upstairs and it took a long time for the manager to turn the A/C on. Cote is a good value for money if you take the early dining menu, but they really need to improve the service speed. We go a few times a year there for work and always have the same issue of unbearable heat upstairs and slow service.

Came on an extremely busy Saturday lunch time so very impressed with the service. We sat outside which is always a lovely experience being on the river front. Food was Cote's usual reliable fare with generous portions, so very good vale for money. Can't comment on noise as we were outside although sometimes when dining in it can be noisy - although that is from diners' voices, no terrible muzak, thank heavens.

Very enjoyable lunch and the complimentary birthday kir was much appreciated. Breton seafood casserole was delicious and packed with fish and seafood. Lemon tart was more like a lemon creme brûlée but still very pleasant. Mains prices are very fair I thought desserts a bit pricey and very ordinary selection of ice cream but overall value for money. Toilets could do with a refurbishment
