Good service and food- usually order from the a la carte but tonight ordered from set menu and thought great value. Only two minor quibbles- fries weren’t as crispy as usual and side salad was forgotten and brought later, but we were comped for it.
The experience was not quite perfect but certainly very good. Not sure if its a policy to always offer guests water but we had none until we asked halfway through our starter course. And service was generally a little slow in coming.
Quiet when we arrived at 5:45, however it soon filled up and when we left to go the Bridge Theatre at 7:15, it was 75% full. Buzzing atmosphere, terrific set menus and great service; highly recommended.
Amazing service, great atmosphere and delicious food. A perfect dinner!!
Excellent service, great ambience and superb cuisine- well done, Côte, Hay’s Galleria.
Staff are really nice at Hay's Galleria branch. Menu is extensive. My meal wasn't as hot as I would have liked and the pork crackling was soggy not crisp. I eat at this restaurant about once a month and this particular meal was not up to usual standard. I will return and hopefully normal high standard will resume.
Fantastic service and a perfect place for brunch. Will return.
Lovely meal, enjoyed the cake and the staff are so polite and friendly.
The food was lovely. The service good. The staff professional and friendly. And even better for us, as we were a group of friends who don't meet that often so were taking the chance to catch up - we were not hurried away from our table. A very positive experience. One I have already mentioned to others. Thank you
Fantastic customer service and made my daughter’s Birthday celebration so special- will definitely be back!
Really good food and a great location, the peppercorn sauce is the best.
We had a lovely brunch, and lingered over coffee for some time. Even when an unexpected fourth person joined us and ordered much later, the waitress never made us feel as if we should leave. The food was excellent value for money too. It was a very relaxed Sunday experience.
The service was sooooo fast. The waiter was polite, courteous, efficient and friendly. Oh, and the food was excellent.
Excellent service and very nice staff and our food was just delicious . The four of us really enjoyed a very nice lunch Thank you very much
My favourite place to eat in London. Lovely atmosphere, wonderful service and fantastic food. What more can you ask for!
Very very good. As usual. The lady serving us was extra polite, though, so I believe it was our best experience at cote yet. Thank you for a nice evening after a hard week of work.
Lovely food and lovely staff, nice environment and very good service
The restaurant never fails to provide excellent service. The quality of the food was first class, occasionally the noise level can be loud due to the close proximity of tables but still a most enjoyable experience.
Most was great whatever was not great the staff made up for it.
Had a great meal as always at Cote. Our waitress Georgie was fantastic!
Great place for a pre-conference breakfast, not too bad a price either
A lovely breakfast, very quiet at this time of the day. The food arrived very quickly and the staff were very attentive.
The food was pretty good, especially the steak, though I had to ask for some fresh French fries because the original ones were only just warm. The problem with this particular Côte is the noise level - there’s a load of restaurant diners who seem to think that shouting endlessly is all part of a good evening. I’ve been to other Côtes where this isn’t such a problem and the overall experience is far better.
Hit and miss. The French onion soup, calamari and blood orange martinis were very good but the pork belly and espresso martinis were very disappointing. We also waited overly long and overall the value for money was not particularly good.
Had a wonderful evening with my husband and daughters. Great location. The staff are amazing!!Made us feel very special. Even gave us complimentary drinks!!
We asked for a quiet corner and got one! The waiter was very attentive, pleasant and proactive. Food was very good.
Food was lovely as usual. Marked it down because the service was so rushed, we would have had a cocktail, courses & coffee within an hour if I have keep telling the waiter that I'd let him know when we were ready. Food was whipped away before asking if we finished so not very relaxing
Visited for breakfast on a Monday morning. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was great and the value for money is very good. There’s a wide range of breakfast items, would highly recommend for breakfast/brunch!
Amazing service ... was my husbands birthday and the waiter, without being asked, kindly organized a birthday candle on a choc fondant. Also brought me a comp. gluten free pud so I could join in... Food was great too ... and good value. Really good experience - thank you !
Friday Lunch has never been so enjoyable. We had an excellent waiter, with who we discussed each course and chose our favourites. The Red Wine was at the correct temperature (as was the White; later on!) Service was brilliant and the ambiance wonderful. Well done Cote.
Sadly first dish of moules not satisfactory but we’re replaced with no fuss and deleted from menu. Good staff so definitely would return
Just what was needed for a pre-theatre meal. Great service and lovely food.
We like the Cote restaurants and it was a busy day - our waitress was great, but she was not backed up by other staff as she was working flat out, meaning service was very slow - she had to chase up the kitchen to get our main course. They realised that we had been forgotten and when we got the bill we found that they had given us a discount - which was good of them as not something we asked for. It is a large busy restaurant - loos really not adequate for the numbers and in great need of deep clean and renovation.
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our beef bourguignon and our dessert of coupe noire complimented by the free blood orange martini. The service was good however our tables were so close to each other we could hear the conversations going on either side which spoilt our enjoyment of our lunch.
Had a lovely afternoon with friends enjoying good food with lovely staff who made sure we had a nice quiet spot to chat and kept us well equipped with food and drink as we completely overstayed lunch almost into evening service - thank you!
Very pleasant experience and lovely evening the food was perfect and the staff were all very polite, helpful and knowledgeable about the food. We felt that the mains came out too quickly after the starter. The starter plates were taken and the mains brought immediately which made us feel a bit rushed. It might be a good idea if the staff asked- would you like the next course immediately. Overall a wonderful evening and the complimentary cocktail was a lovely bonus. Thank you
Great ambience, lovely staff, nice food, decent house wine, free cocktail to start, good price,
Nice lively ambience. Waiting staff were attentive and very friendly.
Waited a long time to pay the bill. Quite overcrowded and small gap between seating
Great service! Very attentive staff. Tasty food. Good price. Great location.
Atmosphere nice, food great & staff friendly. Left plenty of time between courses.
The service was slow and the food was very average and overpriced. We did not get offered drinks, no plates arrived with our garlic bread to share, we spent ages trying to get the waiter's attention to order our mains, to get the bill and to pay the bill. We also waited a long time for our starters to be cleared and our mains to come.
A very relaxed and enjoyable evening. Excellent food and wine and the service was charming and efficient despite the restaurant being busy.
I had the lamb rillettes as a starter which was quite dry and the sour dough that came with it was toasted but was rock hard and very difficult to eat. Steak Frites as a main was very good, a favourite of mine.
Great service and great food. Staff were very friendly, would definately return
Good service and good food , would definitely go back.
My favourite restaurant chain in London. Great food at good prices in a nice atmosphere and all served by attentive staff.
This was a meet up of Cousins who live in various locations around London and beyond. Perfect location which is easy to reach by public transport; wide menu, great food, good service, spacious restaurant. We were not rushed through the meal and our waiter was attentive but not over bearing. We have agreed we will meet here for our next gathering
Table ready for us early which was nice , Food was good as usual. Our waitress was obviously new and a little unsure of herself and the menu but was very sweet and nothing too much trouble. The manageress also very helpful and offered to move us if we wanted but we were comforatble where we were. The person I was most impressed with was a blond lady in a black dress with white collar who was an excellent Supervisor I think She Listened carefully immediately attended to our needs and was extremely efficient and very quiet about it. She really stood out as a great server with excellent skills . Really enjoyed ourselves
Had a lovely evening with four girlfriends on a Friday evening at Hays Galleria. Food and service was excellent as always. The only down side was that they seemed to have crammed too many tables in this time. We were virtually sat in the middle of the walkway, so felt like we were in the way. Staff certainly worked hard for their 12.5% service charge.
