Côte - Hay's Galleria

First visit to this branch of Cote. It is very close to the Bridge theatre and we booked for a pre theatre meal. The service was really good an the staff very friendly and polite. Our meal was delicious.

Whilst the food was lovely the service wa# poor. Waited 15 minutes to be served and when the food arrived it was not as ordered.

Nice meal at a decent price. But most importantly, our server was so attentive and kind! It's such a difference to eat at a restaurant where the people working there seem like they actually like their jobs!

I was disappointed with my food. The sauce in my fish parmentier was watery and was served on two ridiculously sized plates to make it appear larger than it was. The restaurant was also very noisy that my companion and I had to keep leaning in to hear each other.

A bit over noisy but the staff were helpful and friendly . Food/menu as good value and delicious as ever. Great setting of the Thames and moments from Borough Market and London Bridge - have been going for 10+ years!

Great location to London Bridge Tube Station and right by The Thames. Interior was lovely, delicious food and wonderful wine, what more can you ask for!

Great venue, great food, great wines, value for money ? Absolutely. You can't get better value than Cote set menu, realktnis good offer. Go dine at Cote!

Nice surroundings,but very noisy. Wonderful service by a very attentive ,helpful person, Food and coffee up to our useal high standard. To be recommended to anybody going to the new Bridge Theatre

Would have given 5 stars but a mistake was made on one of our steak orders.Otherwise very good , will come again and would recommend

I really like this venue for so many reasons - the setting, the ambience, the staff and, of course, the food. After the event, I always look forward to the next return visit.

Amazing location, could really look out over the river no matter where you sat in the restaurant. Food was nice, staff were not that friendly but were polite enough

arrived 13.30 hrs Sunday - pre theatre. Restaurant was manic - queuing out of the door. Staff were fantastic ! We were served promptly, meal was super and arrived at theatre on time. Thank you Cote London Bridge !

One of our diners was given a bad steak and had to return his food. Overall the service and quality of the food was average at best. I have dined there before and they are always much more concerned with table turnover and thoroughput rather than food quality or service. The wine and beer selection was also very limited.

Service very shambolic this time. Our waiter insisted on trying to deliver our main course (twice) even though we pointed out that I had not yet finished my starter. The second time he came with the two main courses he was really keen for my friend to accept hers - which she did, although I had still not finished my starter. By the time I had finished my starter and was ready for my main course the chicken was lukewarm and the potatoes were cold. My friend's main course was also not hot enough. The chicken was dry and not as tasty as it usually is at Cote. Also, the waiter who took our wine order didn't seem aware of the Cote rewards system and asked me which wine I wanted, so I had to explain that there was only one red and one white wine available as a reward under the terms of the offer.

Great food served quickly, we were not rushed off our table which is common in other chain restaurants, staff could be a bit friendlier , however it was a very busy Saturday night.

Nice ambience and attentive service. The food was all piping hot and very tasty (as you would expect from a Cote). We will definitely be returning.

Very good food, great location. Friendly service though slightly understaffed. One of our favourite restaurants. The cote de boeuf special was excellent. Sign up for Côte rewards.

Not nearly as good as the Richmond branch....why are recipes not consistent across all branches? The mackerel and beetroot salad was very poor compared to the delicious plate at Richmond

The only negative was that we were placed near a large leaving party who were extremely noisey! The food was very good as was the service.

I went here for dinner with my best friend. We had a really good time on the heated terrace, the stuff was really nice and helpful, our waiter very respectful, good choice of food and drinks. A great night out!

The medium-rare ribeye steaks were perfectly cooked, but a bit cool (straight out of the fridge, instread of resting at room temps?), unlike a proper steak specialist restaurant. Other than that, the food quality was great and the service was pleasant.

The food was delicious and the service attentive. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to visit it again regularly. We have not been disappointed with a Cote yet!

It is a shame the food it not up to its usual standard. The belly of pork was not crispy and potatoes not great. The service was friendly and great.

I came back several times and it has always been a pleasure, but this time I booked for me and 3 other friends things weren't great at all. The service was really bad. We were waiting half an hour for drinks we had ordered before. There was only one waitress dealing with the whole upper floor and she was missed most of the time. The two (only) waitresses I have spotted in the upper floor looked like they had cried before or had been told off. I have never ever experience bad service like this. Food wasn't good either. I have no idea what happened that Friday evening, but I doubt I will be back again.

We went with friends and ate at around 6.15 on a Friday. The service was prompt, our waitress very pleasant and the bill very reasonable, the food was nicely presented and okay standard but my risotto was bland and my partner's chicken a little dry. Another of our party seemed to have quite a small main so one way and another not as yummy and satisfying as we'd hoped but for the money I would have to say good value.

Booked a table for 2 online for lunch the following day, The website was very useful with a full menu, this allowed us to make our choices in advance, the food was delicious, we both chose the Salmon with ratatouille with Gratin Potatoes as a side dish.. Would definitely recommend, and definitely return

Great ambiance - river views, nicely spaced tables, rapid service. Excellent for breakfast. Lunch menu needs more healthy options. Relatively easy to find on the quai.

A good lunch served in a timely way in pleasant surroundings with views over the Thames. Standard Cotes fare good value for money will go again.

Good service and great food. A bit noisy, but it's a popular venue, so to be expected. As the evening progressed, so did the aircon and we all started putting our scarves back on!

The waitress from Estonia (apologies I don't know her name) was very professional and polite, we had a great table on the upper level, overlooking the Thames. The food as always was great quality and tasty and was eaten all up! thank you for a delicious lunch

Nice Saturday lunch celebration. The food was good and service was fine. I aways tip if I Think it was good but it annoys me when they put 12and1/2% on The bill.

Great venue right by the river. Wide ranging choices on the menu. They also have a separate gluten free menu, making it very easy for anyone with a restricted diet.

Food, atmosphere and service excellent! Staff were efficient and very friendly. Party of seven of us and every choice was tasty and hot. Celebrating a birthday which we didn't mention but very thoughtful waitress brought us chocolate cake with a candle - lovely!

The service was ok despite how busy it is. The price for the food though doesn’t seem to be equal in value. Howvwer, I’d still recommend for the experience

We did not get the quiet table I had requested and so had to move to another. Also one of our main dishes was cold and had to be returned for reheating. Otherwise it was ok with pleasant staff.

The quality of the food has really gone down, the chicken used to be really good but sadly we left unimpressed this time. Also the noise level is so high you can barely have a conversation. The only positive is the waiting staff are still really good.

Met a friend for lunch to discover what we thought was a set lunch menu didn't start to 3pm so had to eat a la carte.A bit disappointed and as a result only had one course but really enjoyed the pork which was delicious but could have been a bit hotter.Staff attentive but left us alone to chat and did not rush us out .Would go again.Good value for central London.

On the whole food was a very good, however didn't think much of the Coupe Noir - rather indifferent chocolate on the ice cream. Service a bit strange - kept getting different people serving the table. We were offered a free bottle of wine but the wine was on the bill so had to ask for a new bill.

Excellent value in a wonderful location. I always choose from the £11-95 fixed price menu which has a good selection of dishes. They get the fish right which many restaurants struggle to do. Steak frites is good too. I really like Côtes crème caramel which is just about the best I've had anywhere.

Great food was served very quickly even they were busy. The set menu is exceptionally well priced and its based in a beautiful location right on the riverfront
