Main manager was great. However, a few of us in the party had a different menu! Only realised when a main course ordered was rejected by the kitchen! Plus I’m afraid our waitress was quite hopeless. We booked as every other time we’ve been, the food was excellent, only average this time.

The service was extremely slow and unresponsive eg we waited 15 minutes for a coffee that never came and then had to re-order. This was despite numerous attempts to attract waiting staff attention and the fact that the place was not busy at all. Very disappointing.

Disappointing service compared to previous experience. We were seated near the toilets even though we had a reservation. Our starter never arrived and the white wine was inadequately chilled so we had to request ice. We will consider carefully before making a return visit.

Great food at Cote Hays Galleria again and excellent choice of wine offered to us by our waiter, though it was pricier than the one we were going to originally select, it was worth it.

To begin with the waiting staff was excellent - moving us from inside to the outside terrace. Then the staff didn’t know who was serving us so we had to wait for our starters for over an hour. The starters were good, portions were excellent, the Spaghetti was badly cooked but overall based on price it was reasonable.

Four of us visited Cote London Bridge yesterday for lunch. We were seated quickly on the outside terrace which was really nice. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive and everyone was pleased with their choice of food which arrived quickly. Thoroughly enjoyable and would highly recommend.

Lovely venue but we had to chase our main course which took ages to arrive. When it did the two Crepes mains ordered were dry and looked burned as though they had been hanging about for ages. The service and unacceptable meals were reflected in a reduction in our final bill. Disappointed for our Australian visiting guests.

We had asked for a vegetarian menu which we never received, we had to use the online menu on our phone to do so. Nobody followed up to make sure we received the vegetarian menu either. The only vegetarian option on the lunch menu was not available and no compensation was provided either. I appreciate that is was a busy lunchtime however not receiving a particular menu as requested is inconvenient.

Had to wait in line even though i booked. Service bit slow. Main course warm not hot but waiter too busy to even bother to complain! However lovely view and good wine.

Pleasant setting, good quality food and reliably consistent. Staff friendly but service slow and vague. Generally a bit disorganised compared with other branches frequently visited.

I had booked a table several weeks in advance and had requested a table on the terrace. When I arrived I was told that prior booking of the terrace was not possible, which was disappointing. However the Manager was able to find a table within five minutes, and we had a very pleasant meal. The food and service were excellent and my positive feelings about Cote continue !

The food itself was lovely and the waitress very nice, there’s was an issue with our booking however as it didn’t show up on their screen despite booking online an hour before. We had also been emailed a voucher to use when ordering off the ala cart or specials menu, the waitress did not know about the offer so got the manager, he did not know about it either and treated us quite blankly & unkindly about it as though it was our intention to annoy him for the day. We understand people might come in with random offers a fair bit but if your company is sending out offers, speaking from experience it is your responsibility to know about these and brief your staff on them. We were then left for a very long time afterwards before being allowed to order than almost ignored between that point and finishing our meals.

we had a great meal, beautiful vistas over the Thames on a sunny and warm day....perfect. The ladies next table had to wait an hour for their mains.... I had a word with waiters to speed things up for them as they were not going to mention it. That should have been better. But everyone happy.

Great location with a view of the river. Outside tables were very busy and ate inside which was lovely and cool. Service was good. We had the two course lunch which is really good value. I had the tomato Breton which was lovely and fresh and my Mum had the duck liver pate which again was good. Very generous portions. We followed with a rib eye steak (there’s a small supplement) and I had the chicken which was very tasty. Overall very good lunch.

Can’t beat the location and the menu is solid. Service leaves a lot to be desired, and this is not the first time I’ve been there or said that. Orders needed to be repeated, coffees had to be reminded, pleasant waiter but obviously out of his depth with a busy Saturday crowd.

The waiting staff were very attentive. My friends and I received a heathly portion of the Calamari starter which was well presented. Myself and one fruend had the chargrill chicken and thought it was extremely bland. We were given a complementary desert, peach crumble, but this arrived lukewarm and rather dry.

The Hays Galleria Cote remains one of my favourite restaurants. Great for catching up with friends, easy for me to travel there especially with the new entrance to London Bridge station. Very central too for friends from different areas of London. Staff always friendly and courteous . Food generally good. Sadly not everything I wanted was available on this occasion

Awful. Slow service, food reheated as one person’s wasn’t ready - the waitress said the chicken didn’t look good so they cooked another (or rather undercooked another). They took everyone else’s food back, reheated and eventually brought it back. Grey steak. Stone cold chips although they replaced them without fuss. Toilets absolutely disgusting and no air con. Never again.

Food was great. Service terrible, some mains arrived 10mins after others. No bottled water in fridge so had to wait for water to cool down in ice bucket as it was warm, very slow service, after starters were finished waited 25mins for some main courses and 35 mins for others

Good food, very good service, a nice sense of humour from the waiters. Lovely surrounds right by the river. NO "MUSIC" destroying the atmosphere, just the nice sound of people talking, not having to shout, to each other

We love this Cote Brasserie and have visited many times before. The location beside the River Thames is spectacular. We were attended by Marios and Christian who were attentive and very helpful. The food was of a high standard and arrive in good time despite the restaurant being very busy. We will be back again, thanks

Disappointing. Good location but service slow, food overcooked and bill incorrect. It was a busy Sat evening but this was no excuse for the poor service and overcooked food. I have been to many other Cote restaurants and up till now have been a fan of the chain.

The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. We ate off the set menu, which had a number of options and was great value for money. I gave it a 5 not a 6 just because they had no capabilities to book an outside area.

Would have given 5 but had pre booked table of 4 for family birthday and when we arrived we were given a small table that could barely seat 4 and in the way of moving traffic. Had to request another table twice and we were given one that was better and in a decent place. Manager was not that happy about it, But the lady who served us was great and food was pretty decent as well. Will go again

The food is always VERY good, the service is where it’s lacking completely this restaurant. Kudos to the chefs really, but the waiters are (nice) but extremely slow. They take forever to serve you. When the food comes with a busboy that has no idea where the table numbers are, they all get mixed up. They bring the food and give you the plate of food from the other side of the table to your hands (when there’s plenty of room for them to come around and set the plate down for you). The managers ALSO do this and therefore their employees have learnt this from them I’m sure. Ordered a fortified wine with the desert, it never came. They charged me for it and when I told the waitress it took the poor girl 10 minutes to get a manager, explain what had happened, for the manager to come and get another explanation from us and then for them to do the refund and give us the money in cash back. The waiters have absolutely no power of decision and when presented in a situation like this, they panic.
