Côte - Hay's Galleria

Lovely welcome and flexibility with seating to sit where we needed to. We were drawn to the offer of the complimentary drink for August and the menu. Service was delightful even though the restaurant was very busy. Overall a lovely experience.

My friends and I had a great time as usual. We regularly return here as the staff and food are excellent and we are always made to feel very welcome and special. Thank you Hays Galleria

Lovely sitting out by the river. And less noisy! Great staff as always. The pre- dinner steak frites was unfortunately really tough and chewy. It is good value and you get what you pay for - I should know better!!

i thought we would be able to have your lunch menu,told could not have it until 3pm. My understanding of a lunch menu is between 12 or 1 till 3. I ordered the onion soup not good one big lump of bread with chewy cheese on top. One thing we had was a good waiter. I booked your restaurant after being told by two different people how good they are. Regards Peter Else.

Sat outside, but weather was a bit drizzly, so moved tables with no fuss. Great food, spot on and friendly staff and service. Many thanks.

As always, Cote lived up to our expectations. It was my birthday, and we had booked a table. However, it was a beautiful day and the table manager agreed to transfer our booking to a table on the terrace overlooking the Thames as one cannot book tables there. She also agreed to allow us to have the free aperitif which went with the booking. The service was perfect and the food up to usual Cote standards. Whenever we are in London, which is not often, we do try to eat here if it fits into our arrangements. Thank you once again.

We thoroughly enjoyed both of our meals and the service was attentive but not intrusive. Excellently priced for the quality and flavors.

Confusion when we arrived for my birthday as I was rung at 2 pm to be told no space downstairs which i’d requested 2 weeks prior and would we mind going upstairs if noone had access problems . I was s bit annoyed but then the manageress told me that we could have the private area upstairs which suited me however when I arrived they wanted to see me downstairs and I was then irritated and told the hostess that we already been offered the room upstairs which She then went to check whether it was free and it was we waited a while for free cocktail to be served however this was delicious and the waiter we had was very sweet there was a slight delay in one of the starters being served which had obviously been forgotten and Unfortunately it was a hot starter which then meant that those who had already been served their starter ,out of politeness ,had to wait for the last person to be served . The starters were enjoyed however and the main courses were good the staff were very good about serving my birthday cake but I did feel that our waiter was under some pressure as he appeared to be looking after most of the top floor alone The service he provided was generally good and we had a good time I do feel that communication needs to be better though especially when one has requested something two weeks in advance the issue should’ve been dealt with much earlier rather than on the day that the party was supposed to be happening

Fantastic table with views of HMS Belfast, the Thames and Tower Bridge. Sat next to the river on a beautiful, warm evening which was a lovely experience. Friendly, accurate service which accommodated of one of our group arriving at a different time. Food typically delicious. Service was a bit slow and we went at least 10 minutes on arrival without being offered a drink, but this was the only negative. Toilets clean. Thank you Côte!

Really disappointed with everything about this dining experience at Cotes. I am a regular to this chain in other areas so when I booked the Hays Galleria Cote for a lunch meeting I thought I was in safe hands. But unfortunately I was less than satisfied with the service and the food. It is not what I am used to in Cote! Firstly our assigned waiter was rude, rushed and had no concept of customer service. His manner was that of someone who is highly impatient. He was rushing around and acting like serving his customers was a chore. His manner was impolite and despite asking for a Vegan/Vegetarian menu he just forgot and kept coming over to take an order which we could not give him as we didn't have the correct menu. Unfortunately he also reeked of cigarettes. No problem if he wants to smoke but perhaps freshen up before serving people. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the chicken and avocado salad with walnuts. It was more lettuce than anything! Only one chunk of avocado? Really? The restaurant was loud and overcrowded. That is fine for lunch time but coupled with poor service and mediocre food I was not impressed!

I love this place, but on this occasion the staff were overwhelmed. Mostly OK but waiting to pay the bill was far too long and after several attempts to get anybody to bring the machine, I had to get up and push myself to get it paid and to leave, while all new customers were given priority. Not a way to impress a wife!

I'm a big fan of Cote. It's a great chain and, wherever you are, the food is always consistently good and the service also excellent. This branch has the added attraction of an amazing location on the Thames overlooking Tower Bridge, so it's where I like to take overseas visitors when they arrive to stay. Tonight was such an occasion, and Cote did not disappoint.

Lovely to get a table by the river. Lovely staff. Service was a bit patchy but when the chateau Briand was that good, who cares!! The food was so good. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

We have visited for my friend’s birthday. The service was good the staff was attentive.

The staff were extremely busy but our waiter still made the dining experience a joy! It was my husband’s birthday. The table had a sprinkling of celebratory confetti and a birthday card. The meal was delicious as usual. My husband was then presented with a tasty dessert....on the house. Lovely afternoon had by all!

Fabulous river side seat with views over tower bridge. A delicious, quick dinner with the added bonus of complimentary french cocktail as I prebooked. Thank you! I’m never disappointed with any Côte, and I’ve been to a few now!

Lovely as usual, great service, and dependable menu. One of our mainstays.

Friendly staff who, as is the norm in my experience for Cote restaurants, work efficiently & in a timely manner. The Cote menu is common through the branches so I know my favourites. Not to say or isn't changed. Great value & Galleria is in a superb environment.

I keep going here, because it is tough to beat for food, service and price!

Great location on the bank of the river Thames. Very nice staff. Good food, and most importantly for me, Coeliac approved. All of this and still reasonably priced. One of my favourites.
