Great location and staff - super spot for brunch by river

We booked to celebrate our son’s 30th birthday. Food and service were great. Highlight was staff bringing out birthday cake (we provided) with candles lit and singing Happy Birthday to our son (who has autism). Just fantastic. Thank you so much.

Yet again - 3rd time in a row, there were problems with our meal. However, they were eventually resolved by the Manager, who used his discretion to placate two rather disgruntled Patrons, who had arrived full of Seasonal Bonhomie to be greeted by a rather frosty welcome! It would be nice to make my next visit one that runs smoothly from the moment I arrive, without having to rely on the Manager to resolve matters.

booked at table for 12 and they ask me to sent over the pre order which for me was a big headache bcz is not nice to choose 3 days before what you would like to eat on that day, anyway they never receiced it this is very unprofessional no comunication betwen than. the kitchen service was fast but the waitress had no manner and looks like we were annoying her maybe was just a long day.

This was my third visit. You have a busy restaurant, but deliver excellent value for money and I recommend you whenever possible.

-EXTREMELY noisy. -booked a table in advance, and got the worst table possible, right to the entrance. The main door was open 80% of the time and it was super cold and windy + it was extremely noisy inside (seemed more like a pub). -food was good -disappointing experience overall

Good food , service a bit slow to start but ok once our order was taken 25 mins after arrival. One main meal returned to kitchen because the steak was cold but the rest of our party had good hot food which was delicious and when the steak arrived back it was hot and tasty. The wine served with the Christmas menu drinks package could have been better quality. Our waitress was very sweet and kind and came with the birthday cake as arranged, all the staff gathered to sing happy birthday to my friend and we got a free cocktail too

Chose the pre theatre set menu. Excellent value and choice from 2 or 3 set courses. Unobtrusive service at a busy time.

Really well done and impressive speed of service. There was a large group of us but no one was left waiting very long to be served. It was a bit loud and some members of my group had difficulty hearing, but this is understandable given how busy it was.

Good vibe and good food the only criticism is that we were rushed plates were taken away before some of the party had finished eating we were there for a getogether not a macdonalds. We asked if they could take some time between courses and they did asking us when we would like our next course which was nice as we could talk to each other rather than just eat and go.

We would have given a 6 across the board but the wait between the starter and the main was painfully long. Two of the party had the Ravioli which was dried out around the edges and not pleasant to the palate, apart from that we had a super time. Yes i would recommend it.

Order d from the prestige menu. Food was good, service was responsive. However due to the area and the timings I could hardly here myself and my partner talk due to the amount of noise that was coming from everyone. Very crowded and felt as if I was on top of other customers. Reduces the overall experience with was average to good.

Unfortunately I’ve booked during lunch hour and there were no tables free so we were next to a party of eight obviously having their Christmas party. I would think generally during the afternoon it is much quieter but it is very central for lots of offices especially during the lunch hour and it was obviously a good place to go for lunch as well as party. I have been there before and it was still busy but was not noisy

Very attentive and helpful staff. The Xmas menu was excellent value for money. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our afternoon at Cote.

I had the duck breast and my son had the burger deal, which was enormous. Great service, extremely friendly staff, food fantastic and good wine list. Best reserve though!

Good food, nice staff, but far too noisy. Impossible to hold a conversation so a wasted evening with friends who we could not easily communicate with. We will never go to this restaurant again. Perhaps St Katherine's dock is better for those seeking a calm atmosphere?
