Very good service. Attentive waiters. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. It was warm which was lovely as it was a freezing day outside. Food is always delicious. We go regularly as a group.

Avery worked hard and was good but several other staff were poor ...ignoring us and even giving up half way through taking our order ! We had to ask 3 times for the 2nd basket of bread . The bill was wrong in two respects when it arrived . Altogether a poor experience at a restaurant we like and have been to often.

Had a very enjoyable post Xmas / New Year lunch with my friends. We meet up every year after the festive season rather than during it. Meal was delicious as usual and the service very friendly. Will be calling in again soon during Celtic Connections Festival.

From the moment we entered the restaurant, staff were welcoming without being overbearing. The food offering was wide enough to suit most tastes both in the set menu and a la carte. Our choices were lived up to expectation and indeed surpassed them. Thank you, we will be back!

Another lovely meal. We had the prestige set menu which is always great value for money. Mussels and calamari starters were fab and had the steak- delish! Thanks again!

Second time. It has interesting French menu but It doesn’t produces food to bistro standard . House Wine is expensive and rather bland however if you just want something different and are in a hurry reasonable option. Should drop compulsory, effectively, 12% service charge and leave it to customer

Good food and good service at reasonable prices. An overall excellent dining experience in very pleasant surroundings. The variety of the food on offer is first class with a slight emphasis toward French cuisine- all the better for that!

The really great aspect of our lunch was the service; we were looked after by two charming girls who proved to be very efficient and helpful. The starter was delicious as was the dessert. My one criticism was the main course which was the steak frites. It looked a bit stark on the plate (perhaps add some salad?) and the steak was overcooked. There was an excellent choice of wines with a good range of prices. I will certainly go back, as will the friends that were with me.

This was my 2nd visit but my friend's first time and they weren't disappointed. What did we like? Let's start with the booking process which was simple but the option of prebooking course made everything even easier. I did call ahead as one of our party has limited mobility and Claire was awesome in giving us the perfect table (Booth)for access and near the accessible loo. That was so appreciated by all of us. The food was delicious and of the highest quality. All courses arrived at a great pace and nothing was rushed. The staff: What a great team of people. The restaurant was heaving with Christmas revellers (like us) but nothing was a bother, lots of attention and awesome service which was reflected is us increasing the 12% optional tip by an extra tenner. Worth every penny. What could have improved the evening? A wider bar offering for sure. The wine selection is superb and not lacking however we'd have spent more money had there been more options on liqueurs, gins, malts and even soft drinks. This criticism is minor as this shortfall did not impact on our enjoyment. Thank you Team Côte Brasserie for affording us your wonderful hospitality and ensuring we had an awesome evening. We hope to see you all soon. Helen C Mitchell

Cote is a pleasant, comfortable, warm restaurant within close walking distance of shops in Buchanan Street. The service is good and the food is also good. I am coeliac and therefore have to follow a strictly gluten free diet and Cote are very good at accommodating this. There was a set gluten free menu and also gluten free a la carte menu. Food order is taken by a member of staff trained to take a gf order and they have separate fryers etc. Food comes clearly labelled. thank you. This makes dining out a pleasure rather than a stressful event. Service charge is included in the bill. We had to ask for our change!

It's nearly a year since we visited this restaurant and I'm pleased to say that nothing has changed. As far as casual dining in Glasgow goes, Cote is hard to beat, the food is good, reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and although you pay for it the service is second to none.

Top class restaurant. We had the sea bass which was served with some mussels, an unusual combination which turned out to be absolutely delicious. Fortunately, or unfortunately, they continue to have Coupe Noire on the dessert menu. This consists of vanilla ice cream over which one pours a warm chocolate sauce. As a result other desserts never get a look in, the poor things.
