Very good food. My fish was excellent and my wife's lamb chops were also excellent but her scalloped potatoes were dry.

Loved going back to our favourite restaurant. Understand the need for social distancing but we were the only couple placed sitting side by side so we felt like the two Ronnies news sketch rather than a romantic birthday meal out. The food was as good as every although the Fougasse we had at the start was a bit dry. It was disappointing to see some of our favourites not returning to the menu(duck). The staff were very helpful, if somewhat over stretched at times, and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our evening.

Pretty good. We though some tables were dangerously close to each other. But staff moved speedily to rectify. Service slightly over stretched but it was great to be back

Great to see such attentive start after reopening. Cutlery drawer a bit loud but not much to be done about that!

I'm so pleased that Cote is open again with some of the wonderful Ealing staff from pre-lockdown but also some who have come from other branches such as Chiswick. They are all delightful. The service is friendly, professional and knowledgeable about Cote's menu. The gluten-free choices continue to be the best out there.

Welcoming friendly and efficient staff. It was a luxurious and comfortable environment, with music at just the right volume. The excellent food was well cooked and delicious, clearly fresh and good quality ingredients with top quality chefs.

Had lobster and frites. Sadly not good - lobster not a lot of meat and chewy found out was Canadian and obviously frozen. Watercress salad was very gritty not washed! Husband had sea bream which was very good. First Cote meal after lockdown so very disappointed.

Hi service was good, food was pretty bland and didn’t really feel like that had much flavors and tastes. Food delivered very quickly but just wasn’t tasty enough.

So great to have Ealing Cote open again. Food & service wonderful as usual. I particularly enjoyed the Tuna Nicoise - beautiful & melting. SO much better than a French Bistro meal we had in Soho this week. Keep going !!!

We went to Ealing Cote on its reopening after lockdown. Limited menu and a bit boring actually as little change. Should have spent lockdown reinventing the menus. There are plenty of French classics that could be introduced. To start we had olives and bread followed by lobster frites which were fine but small in size. We all had desserts. Tarte fine was good. House white is good quality for the price. Table layout seemed the same as always, staff wearing visors and sanitisers available but not near the entrance!

Considering the discounted offer was still operational and it was Ealing Cote's first day open since lockdown, I think the team did a wonderful job. The restaurant was incredibly busy. It was great seeing familiar faces - Anya, Ariola and Panos - and enjoying the same high-quality food and friendly, professional service. I was so pleased to see all my favourite gluten-free dishes on the post-lockdown menu. My partner really enjoyed his cheeseburger. Excellent value with or without the discount.

Cote has returned as good as ever with lots of COVID-19 precautions in place so felt safe during the entire experience.

Normally love Cote and were delighted it had reopened. However, very unhappy with social distancing - none - every table full - all very busy. Appreciate it was last day of offer but not happy to return unless social distancing policy improved. Peter & Eleanor

For the first time in so many years I have been disappointed by the food served. The scallops I ordered as a starter didn't taste very fresh and I didn't finish them just in case. The steaks served to my friends were ordered well cooked but they were served burnt. Not usual standard. Disappointed. Hope next time the food will be to its usual high standard.

Popped in for lunch. The weekend special of chicken with grattan potato and green beans was delicious and satisfying. Childrens mash and sausages was fine but no gravy meant it was a little dry.

As always at Cote a very good experience! The food was delicious and it’s good value getting the 3 course lunch special. As I have slight hearing loss I find it helpful that there was no distracting music and it wasn’t too busy!

It wasn't the best experience we have had at Cote in Ealing and it probably means we will not be back for a while. Luckily it was just a catch up and not a celebration. I recognise that things go wrong but when they do your staff need expertise in sorting things out and not aggravating the situation. A very placid friend was furious - I have never seen them like this before. Perhaps sending something asking for comments within ten minutes of leaving the restaurant is not a good approach either.

We go to Cote Brasserie - Ealing quite regularly and usually we would give 5 out 6 overall rating. We went there for Father's day and had brunch. The food was really good as always but this time we were disappointed by the service. We asked for milk to have with our tea and had to ask twice before anyone brought it to us. We had the impression that we were bothering the waitress when asking her. The same thing happened again when we asked for an extra coffee and it took a long time before it was served. We do understand that things can get a bit slow when the restaurant gets busy, but when we asked for the coffee it was pretty quiet. I think the thing that bothered us more was the attitude of the staff rather than having to wait. We almost didn't leave a tip because of the poor service we received.
