The service is cheerful, the ambience delightful, with just the right level of buzz, and the food as tasty as one would wish. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Ealing Cote

I wouldn’t normally write a review about food but this time I feel I need to. I met a dear friend for breakfast at your Ealing branch and was very much looking forward to a lovely hot breakfast. I ordered the Eggs Royal and my friend the Full English. However when the food arrived it was luke warm. I did not want to complain at the time as we were pushed for time and the staff were attending to other customers which meant we had to wait a while to be served. I would not expect food to be luke warm especially with Eggs. My friend had a tomato cut in half which was neither grilled, cooked or heated, again to our disappointment. It was if it were taken out the fridge, cut in half and put on the plate. Neither of us were very happy with the food and we will not be returning. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

I was lunching with six other ladies as part of our annual get together. The service was excellent and the choice of menu was as great as ever.

As always, a consistently excellent meal. The food is of high quality and the staff are utterly delightful. It is a lovely dining experience. The gluten-free menu is superb.

First time at this restaurant and very pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the food without high prices. I didn't find the chairs very comfortable and parking nearby is not possible so need to go into the multi storey car park and come out through the shopping centre. Overall we all enjoyed the experience pleasant staff and no long waits, will definitely be returning.

Glorious food and very nice staff! They were very attentive and all three courses were served promptly and tasted excellent. The Ealing branch was living up to the high standard of Côte.

Fantastic food! We were late but staff were happy to accommodate us. Good service and able to adjust our order to suit us. Food was delicious, perfectly cooked.

All the staff were welcoming friendly and attentive..my steak was a bit cold but tasty..the creme brulee was delicious..I'll definitely be going there again soon

Staff were very nice and friendly and the food was great! The kids meal was nice as well and the deserts where lovely. We had a great birthday lunch!

A lovely meal made even better by being able to choose either from the breakfast menu or the lunch menu so there was plenty of choice.

Another pleasant evening at Cote Ealing. There was a dip in the service earlier this year, however on the last 3 visits to Cotes Ealing the service has been excellent, as has the food. Thank you

Food was ok but the service was very slow and inattentive due to a lack of staff. It took about 20min to order the first drink.

Great experience but felt sorry for staff - far too few for such a busy restaurant . The food was beautifully presented and it was a seasonal varied menu.

The food is still good. Our waiter is quite attentive. However, our food came very slow. We waited for 30 mins for our starters to arrive. Maybe it's early evening. For a well established chain restaurants they should make sure the restaurant should have enough staffs (outside and in the kitchen).

Today we had lunch from the set menu. The set menu has a choice of 2 or 3 courses and for the price the quality was very good. The service was as usual friendly and attentive. I'm looking forward to going back.

A perfect meal for 7 of us. Good service and great food. Really impressive for a chain who have honed in on decent value high end dishes executed to perfection.

Waited for almost 5 minutes at the door before anyone came to welcome us and show us to our table. No water brought to table or asked if we required drinks prior to taking orders, although other tables close by were asked. We ordered two starters an mains, only one starter was served and mains were then brought, the starter was finally brought to the table during the main meal. This service is not wahat we have come to expect from Cote, we have benn customers for many years and have visited establishments throughout London and many other Cities.

Cote Ealing - once again a lovely evening, particularly enjoy the specials which change regularly, fish cooked to perfection, served hot. Waiters go out of their way to provide excellent service.

The food was tasty and the staff friendly, just not enough of them so service was very slow. Not even a glass of water was offered until we chased, and we saw one couple give up and leave.

The waitress who served us was not very friendly at all. We decided to move from the table we were originally given (this was before being served or our order taken) and this did not go down very well at all.

Nice food and good service. Quite squashed together and restaurant felt too busy with table too close together. Think it's a bit overpriced (£98 for quick lunch for 4). But a nice experience and may go again.

Staff a little more inexperienced than usual as they forgot not to charge for bottle of white wine which was on offer. After mentioning this they did refund.

Service was slow but the staff thought we were waiting for two more guests so not entirely their fault. However, service was still slow! Otherwise, everything was great.

The food was good but the service it was dissapointed . Booked a table for 7 and they gave us a table for 6 ! Service very slow ! Starter in time but the main took us almost an 1.1/2 . Always been to cote , ealing second time and last .

Table was booked for 8pm. It was after 8.25 that we managed to order wine and some water. Had to ask the waiter twice to come and take the order. The restaurant was very busy and seemed understaffed. Food was good as always, but service was very poor.

As usual Côte didn't disappoint! Staff were attentive and friendly, food was delicious and my plate was hot! The value for money and the high standard of food that you get is what makes this such a brilliant place!

Quite a nice lunchtime meal yesterday for four of us but service a bit slow to start with. Waited a long time before we were asked if we would like a drink or were given menus.

Efficient service and delicious food as usual. The complimentary bottle of white wine complemented the mussels and chips and a big difference to our final bill

Had a wonderful time with my family here for my mum's birthday. Martina saw that it was her birthday, was extremely attentive throughout and made our meal extra special. The food was delicious as always. Thank you Côte!

As always excellent, fairly priced food. We were on an offer for wine, but noticed that wine is relatively less good value than food. Service was slower (it was a Wednesday evening) than usual and it looked like there were less staff than normal.

Good meal, apart from the Toulouse sausages being smoked, which was not advertised and not that nice. Excellent creme brulee. Good value and friendly service.

The food was very good and at a very reasonable price. We had a free bottle of wine as part of the November reward. The service was as usual professional and friendly.

I enjoy Côte, the food, the ambience. The service is somewhat perfunctory but this is the case in all their restaurants. The branch in Ealing is usually busy although on a Monday the mood was just right.

The service and food were excellent. Cote is a vert reliable choice for a midweek supper. I find it can be a little noisy when it is full at the weekend.

Very nicely greeted. Requested a quiet table and was advised (correctly) best area to sit in. Food and wine up to its usual delicious standard. Very friendly new waiter. Please be made aware that the set menu available until 7pm (which is such good value) is not available at the Ealing branch at the wend, which we had expected.

As ever, the food, drink, ambience and service at Cote in Ealing are exceptional. The staff are utterly delightful and I am particularly impressed with the gluten-free menu. Ealing has a really great team of lovely young people who work there to make the eating experience so enjoyable. Thank you so much.

The staff were friendly and the food was good. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the early dinner menu has something on it for everyone. The food is well presented. Very popular place so it got very busy and a bit loud! However overall a great experience

We were given the worst table ever as they say is two next to a loud big group. We requested to be changed or we would leave. We had to wait for a table for two to clear. The food and the wait were worth it.

Came here for my birthday dinner... and it took ages for our desserts to arrive. Other people had arrived, had their meals and desserts (delivered before us!! even though we ordered first) and left, before our desserts arrived. We ordered chocolate mousse and creme caramel. Food was amazing, but wasn't so impressed with the time we had to wait.
