On this occasion we came on a busy night for Côte Brasserie, indeed it was a busy night for the whole city - the Goodwood Revival was on, and yet the service did not falter and the quality of the food was as good as ever.

Lovely food; very very pleasant staff; bright, airey restaurant we arrived very early but this was no problem, a smile and a minutes wait then we were seated.

Excellent food as always & a great ambience. Only disappointment is that French Onion Soup - our favorite- is no longer on the menu. It was the only place to get it!

As usual, friendly staff and the food was excellent. My chicken breast was particularly tasty. The fish my husband had was good, but slightly boring!

Good range of dishes and sides. One of our party was from France and agreed that the food was excellent. Wine list had a good selection to suit different budgets. Service was efficient and unobtrusive.

We go to Cote in Chichester frequently for a pre-theatre meal. It is unfailingly a pleasant experience - great welcome, attentive service and delicious food.

The food was very good and great value. The waiting staff were efficient, friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back again when lunching with friends in Chichester

Confirming my view of the value for money at Cote, our visit went smoothly and enjoyably, earlier this week. We chose from the afternoon menu; the only minor comment I have is that the seabass dish could he been improved by more seasoning.

Cote never fails to deliver an excellent meal every time. The staff and atmosphere in Cote in Chichester is very good and we love going there.

Great food and a lovely atmosphere along with the lovely staff. We come here every week and it's consistently good and would recommend it for quality and value.

A good restaurant with excellent service albeit not meals to be hurried. Booking is essential especially t weeken or school holiday. We go regularly at lunchtime.

Great service. We chose to eat off the pre theatre menu so we could have a couple of small courses. The starters were absolutely fine however the mains were not. My wife, being South African, chose the butternut risotto which was bland and undercooked butternut making it inedible for her. I had the chicken chasseur which was a tiny chicken leg which was overcooked to just being edible. We had a fantastic meal there last year for our sons 21st but we're so disappointed with this visit.

We had a lovely evening, thanks. The food was excellent and so tasty, and the service was very good as always. Always a good option if you want to guarantee great food and excellent service.

Love this restaurant . We had the set meal which is excellent value on the whole everything food and service was perfect however I had the steak which was a £2 supplement unfortunately most of it was chewy and inedible. Wouldn't choose that again . I did have a quiet word with a member of staff who assured me that he would remember us next time and if we didn't like it would get us another meal.... I would of preferred my £2 supplement refunded but on the whole a good meal. Creme caramel is to die for .

Very good service from waiting staff who are courteous and helpful but also friendly and engaging. The food here is always good. Cote is always a reliably great experience, whether it is just for a coffee, or a full meal.

Starter and dessert were good but main course was very disappointing. Very dry and tasteless chicken. Service was good but Cote is normally far better than this.

The food was very good. The ambiance and space in the restaurant was more than sufficient. The staff themselves were good. The main problem was a slight disconnect in food coming from the kitchen. The starters came out in dribs and drabs, sometimes this happens, so not a massive problem and most were cold starters to share. With the exception of one main course, they also came out together. It just meant one member of our party Sat for 5minutes with nothing to eat. 1st world problems I know, just disappointing. I would go to Cote again, so it wasn't that much of a problem.

Did not really enjoy sit right next to coffee machine area a little noisy, and other tables apart from window tables a little dark but good and service good as always

Lovely experience! Warm welcome as we entered, instantly identified the friend we were meeting and led us to her table. Food came quickly and was excellent. Restaurant was extremely busy with people going to Fiddler on the Roof but noise levels were tolerable and a very happy ambiance. Toilets rather a long walk upstairs past kitchens...

Service very good and food is consistently excellent. Everyone enjoyed their starters. And there was enough time to relax between courses without feeling rushed. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Lovely- as always! We had the set early bird menu and the food, atmosphere and service were all superb. Will come again! Glad the delicious crime caramel is still on the menu.

My husband and I had a short break away in Chichester and I found this lovely restaurant on TripAdvisor. Reviews were good so we thought we'd give it a try. We were not disappointed. Service was impeccable and the food was the best French food we've had outside of France! Can't say more than that really! The place was really buzzing and had a great 'vibe' about it. We both had the Breton chicken as our main course and it was absolutely perfect. (I used to work in Brittany so do know a good Breton chicken!). We were perfectly ok to have the gratuity added to our bill. The service was well worth it. Would we return? Yes! Without a moment's hesitation!

A very good experience after the theatre with staff very willing and not in a hurry to get home. It is one of the few Chichester restaurants where you can get a good dinner after the theatre.

we had another wonderful lunch at cote ,such a good choice for each course from the august set menu . the staff are lovely ,polite ,efficient and well trained by the management team.

Warm welcome, fast service despite being full of pre-theatre diners. Lovely chicken and bacon salad - no room for the desert... Bit of a long treck to the wash-rooms!

The Chicken a little too dry, modules delicious, had to wait longer than usual to place food order. All in all I it was good.

Great food, we had food from the pre theatre menu, the hake was especially good. Waitress service from the charming Jerry was absolutely super. Will definitely be back next time we go to the theatre at Chichester.

This restaurant in Chichester came up to all we expect from Cote. Good food at a price we can afford, we had a superb friendly waitress and the décor and cleanliness was all that we expect. It made a good start to our evening, before we went to the Theatre.

Another thoroughly enjoyable lunch. As ever, very good food and friendly, attentive service. This is definitely our favourite Chichester restaurant and we are already looking forward to our next visit.
