The food was amazing. French onion soup was fantastic. The service was very friendly and fast. Some items weren’t that cheap, so best to go for one of their set menus.

Cote is always a good place to meet up for a meal with friends. Not really the place for a special occasion but reliable option for a good meal freshly made with good ingredients at a reasonable price.

The fixed price menu was excellent. I would really rate the tomato soup and the chocolate mousse. We come to this Cote regularly

Another great meal. My wife and I visited Cote in Chichester prior to an evening at the theatre. The food, service and ambiance were all excellent. My wife and I shared a tartiflette luxe and it was totally scrummy! Thank you!

As is almost always the case at the Chichester Cote….it was lovely! It is, by far, our favourite restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The menu is varied and delicious; the service friendly and efficient; and the ambience lively…..but not too lively! What’s not to like! Thank you again!

After a shaky start a first class meal with great service. The quality was excellent. But why no English mustard as a Côte policy? Can you imagine a restaurant in France saying we only serve English mustard

Good meal and service but have had much better at this location. Had to ask for the Prix Fixe Menu. Big rush of customers at 6pm - suggest you arrive earlier or later to avoid it.

A pleasant restaurant with very efficient service, as usual with the Cote chain. Busy in the evening with most customers going to the Festival Theatre, so a tip is to get there early (5.30ish). The choice of menu is good, but no Prix Fixe on Saturday. Highly recommend and we will return.

A lovely meal with the usual items on the fixed price menu but then each of the cote franchises cooks the same items on the menu slightly differently. This one does soups really well (so thick you can stand a spoon up in the soups) and the chicken dish. Deserts are standard whereby the tarte aux citrons always wins. Lovely and attentive waiting staff. Nothing’s ever too much for them.

The food was very good, as we've come to expect from Cote, but the service, for once, was not. We ordered a simple hors d'oeuvre of baguette to share but it took 20 minutes to arrive. The main course did come promptly but after that there was a long wait before we were offered the dessert menu. There were several waiters around but they all seemed to be avoiding catching our eye. Our booking was for 12:45pm - we had arrived on time - and we had to leave no later than 2:15 to go to the Theatre. This meant we had allowed an hour and a half for a three course meal. This should have been plenty of time but the slow service detailed above resulted in us having to forego desserts and coffee which was very disappointing. Cote is one of our favourite restaurant chains and we especially like the one in Chichester, so we hope that our negative experience on Saturday turns out to have been a one-off!
