Good food , good service, good atmosphere. Restaurant almost full despite being Monday lunchtime with an abundance of other restaurants around. Surely a good sign.

There is a nice relaxed atmosphere here and the food is consistently good. Tuna niciouse salad is recommended. Very popular so you need to book to avoid disappointment. Good for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Great food, friendly, well informed staff and lovely atmosphere - as usual ! You know it's going to be good, even before you go through the door!

As usual a welcoming face at the door, super fast and reliable service, the food was superb. All in all a fantastic and enjoyable experience.

Welcoming ambience. Good meal and service which made for a very pleasant birthday celebration. Reasonable value for money. Have been before and will go again.

Sadly we shared the restaurant with a massive birthday party which was raucous and we could barely hear ourselves talk over the noise of their revelries. We had taken a couple for whom it was their first visit, on our recommendation, and quite frankly we were embarrassed to have taken them with such noise going on.

Excellent service as always. Good choices on all the menus. Real value for money ! We have eaten at the Chichester Cote many times....there are many restaurants in the town but this one is top of our list !

The Food was excellent and good value. The service was friendly and efficient. We were made to feel at home as we are regulars in Chichester

Excellent meal, great friendly welcoming service. Have visited a few times for coffee but this was first time for a meal. Will be going again soon.

Could not fault the meal and service - steak and frites. But why, if I do not want to buy a bottle of red wine, do I only have the choice of 2 wines by the glass. I am sure a house wine by the carafe ( of different sizes) would be popular.

Had a lovely meal yet again, we had the set menu , £10.95 for 2 courses and £12-95 for three is brilliant value for the choice and quality you get .Service is first class. Looking forward to Saturday as we are having breakfast there to , they are the best breakfast in Chichester for quality and value.

Only spoiled by a poor quality Merlot. Every thing else excellent. Duck breast with lovely cherry sauce. Cooked beautifully pink. Service attentive and very pleasant.

Waiting staff excellent. Asked for steak to be cooked medium rare and was well done. Nice surprise not to have been charged for it. Best chain restaurant in Chichester.

Amazing restaurant, lovely service and food was spectacular. The staff are friendly and polite and they have a great selection on the gluten free menu. I will definitely be going again.

Lovely food and exceptional service. From start to finish we had a lovely experience. The staff were lovely and attentive and my fish soup was delicious and my swordfish was great. The wine was delicious too.

A lovely evening but my Sirloin Steak was very chewy. I mentioned this to the waiter, and my meal was removed from the bill with no questions asked. Very impressed with the service. Thank you

The service was very good but not over baring which I much prefer. My wife and i both enjoyed our mains of pork belly although my wife found her starter of calamari slightly greasey. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Very nice restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff! We frequently eat there during our stay in Chichester when attending the Goodwood events... Highly recommended!

Always enjoy lunch at Cote the menu very varied and good value - go there regularly - staff are always very welcoming and efficient. Love sitting in the window watching the world go by!

Cote is a chain of restaurants I I use regularly in London and in Chichester. The food is always well presented (though watch out for the 7oz steaks - about the size and shape of a large thimble) and the staff are universally pleasant and attentive. Do be aware that Cote is one of the increasing number of restaurants that insists its staff compulsorily add the 'discretionary' service charge (of 21%) to your bill, which nobody tells you about and is easy to miss. I guess advising their clientele that this charge is added is the 'discretionary' bit. Bad effort and reduces what would otherwise be a score of '6' to a score of '2'.

Lovely atmosphere. Not sure about the lump of gristle in my meal, mentioned to waitress but said Don't know what that would be!!!. My crumble was only Luke warm but my husbands was very hot. Sorry to complain we do like this restaurant

The Restaurant was rammed on arrival. We were however treated to excellent customer service by their team and the quality of food was first class.

We had lunch menu and thought the quality of the main course was not as good as we have come to expect when compared to that of the a la carte menu.

Great food and service. Pity it is so difficult to park nearby. I had to walk the district before my booking to find a suitable free space!

The food and service were brilliant - as usual! Cotes offers a gluten free menu as well which is much appreciated. Excellent value for money :)

Excellent as always. Great food, cleanliness and hospitality. Have always enjoyed my frequent visits. The lunchtime menu is great value and the choice of wines are perfect.

Enjoyed a very pleasant lunch with my sister-in-law and a friend. I have already booked to spend my birthday on 30th March and introduceba new friend to the excellent value for money restaurant!

Good service and good food. The only thing stopping getting a 6 was that our table of 5 felt like a table of 4 with an extra place added instead of say a table of 6 with one less. Also, the gents loo was a bit of a hike to find and the 'easy' access toilet the manager offered my father wss blocked by chairs, high chairs and waste packaging.

A very good chain with a good standard of service & food, no matter which branch you use. Good steaks, pork belly & the iced berries with white chocolate sauce is a favourite dessert

Limited choice of wine by the glass. Calamari rather salty and the burger was basically burned. On the positive my husband thought the boudin and belly of pork were very nice.

Excellent food; charming and efficient staff and a delightful ambience. I have already been several times and on each occasion is have been very good experience.

Disappointed with the food, had Crocque Monsieur which was soggy & even the Creme Caramel was not up to its usual standard unfortunately. The service staff were up to scratch as usual for Côte

Two steaks had to be sent back but were quickly replaced by tender replacements with fresh fries. We werenot charged for coffees so we left happy and keen to return next week.

Excellent food, service very good but forgot last two glasses of win. Good thing in retrospect though....Altogether a very enjoyable experience. We will go again!

Order wrong twice with waitress off hand and rude however the manager did sort it out personally , the food was good when it arrived as usual coffee excellent . and then the manager gave us the breakfasts complimentary to make up for the issue. So due to that we would go again and hope this was just a blip.

Great evening with some good food and wine. Service was good as well. There was a group of four of us and we all enjoyed our perfectly cooked meals. We will return.

Excellent food with a good variety and change of specials every month. Friendly staff and exceptional service. Overall good value and finishing touches such as linen serviettes.

Had a very tasty pre theatre meal. Good choice of food, excellent service and friendly staff. Perhaps a little cheeky to add optional service to the bill but at least it was pointed out and it could have been removed, if wanted.
