Delicious food and incredible value on the set menu deal if you eat before 7 Monday to Friday. Best creme caramel I have ever tasted.

This is a lovely restaurant with excellent food and very helpful friendly staff. It's a French style restaurant and I couldn't fault our meal. The roast chicken was delicious.

As always a really nice welcome and consistently good food (breakfast on this occasion) really hit the spot and served to a civilised time for us lazy Sunday people

Reasonable choice on the menu and cooked to our choice, drinkable wine (I always go cheap/value). Service could be more attentive/quicker but it was busy and the staff were friendly and pleasant. Quite a large dining area meaning more utility than intimate.

We went for a pre theatre meal. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service, and good food from a varied menu . Very enjoyable experience. We will certainly go again.

My wife and I went to Cote, Chichester for the first time and had a very good experience. The food was very French and well presented and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We will go again.

Service good. Food a little variable but overall reasonable to good. The restaurant was not busy but still my steak was not hot and cooked too well done for me. Just a little more attention to details like that would make it very good.

An excellent meal and a great way to finish our visit to Chichester. Staff here are very efficient and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend but do book as they were very busy and turning people away who hadn't made a reservation. I think that says it all.

Relaxed but perfect service. Veggie breakfast and especially the veggie sausage was really great. Very good value - we had the fresh juice and hot drink option.

Great value, although as a regular customer the portions were smaller this visit. Also the seafood pasta main course wasn't as flavoursome as usual. Our visit was spoiled by poor service on this occasion but the manageress recovered the fault so we will try it again.

Really pleased with our visit, the staff were excellent from the moment we walked through the door until the moment we left the restaurant. The food was fantastic, the best I have eaten in Chichester for a long time. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Food and service as brilliant as ever I am looking forward to returning to Chichester and other venues . Just remembered the Sea Bass was not as tasting as the meal I had in Tunbridge Wells on the 1st April .

Food was very nice. Good atmosphere. Good menu. Waitress was a bit miserable though and we needed to repeat our orders a couple of times for her to understand.

Food was nice but the service nothing more than you would expect from any food establishment including somewhere like wetherspoons (being asked if we were happy with our meal) however not impressed by the imposed 12.5% service charge on top of the bill. Service charge should be at the customers discretion not forced upon them.

Once again the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were discreetly attentive as always. We had a super evening celebrating with our intern who has completed her degree course, we recommend the house sparkling blanc de blanc! Thank you.

We make a point of eating here whenever we have a Chichester Festival Theatre visit planned provided that it is during the week. The reason for this is that their pre-theatre special meal, which offers superb value for money, is only available during the week. For weekend visits we go to Raymond Blanc so there's a lesson to be learned there. Food and service are both good and they are not "pushy". If you want just tap water to drink then that's fine. There is just one downside, which fortunately did not occur yesterday. Halfway through your meal they normally turn down the lights to the point that you can barely see your meal. If you complain they might turn them up fractionally but never enough. Perhaps I should take my brilliantly bright LED headlamp with me to stress the point. Get this right and I would give them a 100% recommendation. As it is, I can't.

all good as usual except on lunch menu why do you split the asparagus? Completely ruins the dish which is minimal and even more when there is an abundance of asparagus this year.

All the staff who work at the Chichester Cote,,,,,,,deserve the highest praise . Always cheerful, and so helpful , especially to the older clients. Nothing is too much trouble. Booked for 5 people but suddenly had an extra person wanting to come, but on a busy Saturday evening they managed to accommodate us by adjusting the time slightly. All had starters and mains from the a la crate menu and all were delicious. Apparantly the steak was particularly good.

The food was average. Moule overcooked and chewy and my wife's fish also overdone. Leg of duck was ok. Used to Cotes doing good food...They were busy as it was mother's day so imagine that this contributed to what was an unusually disappointingly​ meal.

Great, attentive staff. Lovely ambience, and food always well prepared and never over-faced. Best Americano coffee in town, and our children love the chocolate fondant! Really, you can't go wrong here!
