Côte Chichester

Good food, good atmosphere but the waitress forgot we were there after delivering the main courses. Shame really because the pre 7pm menu is excellent .

Easy to book with Quandoo, lovely welcome, attractive decor, staff were attentive but never pushy, comprehensive and imaginative menu. Enjoyed 3 courses which were excellent in every respect . I will return.

Our first visit to a Cote restaurant - both food & service were excellent. A good range of dishes on the menu, including a good selection of gluten free options. Definitely one to re-visit.

Really friendly atmosphere, food and service excellent. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Overall a really enjoyable experience. We will go back again very soon to Cote.

Fabulous food with lovely seasonal specials, attentive service and great attention to detail, as always. One of our very favourite places to eat out in Chichester.

Excellent service as usual. Staff are always polite and efficient. Chicken, avocado and walnut salad was delicious. Great value lunch. We Equally enjoy Cote breakfasts.

Lovely restaurant (have been there before) and excellent service. Plaice not up to standard (had it been frozen?) - very thin, not much flesh, and overcooked. Didn't complain but will stick to my favourites in future, as one of us had tasty chicken and no problems.

Excellent food, good service and reasonable prices. I wonder why they do not have special offers like other similar franchises.? For that reason I will rate them 5 not 6.

Another nice breakfast at cote, I particularly like the chichester restaurant because of the friendly staff. Both of our breakfasts were nicely cooked and the set meal with coffee and juice is good value.

Nicely prepared and presented food at reasonable prices. Adequate for me but a little on the small side for my adult son. Very pleasant staff.

Just love your asparagus hollandaise. Shame the dish has such a short season. I also recommend the Choc pot dessert but your coffee leaves a lot to be desired! That's my opinion anyway. We tend to go home for coffee!

Polite & attentive service. All staff had the same attitude & were efficient , friendly & predicted any requirements , we're all well trained in their specific duties. Food was well cooked, & presented as per the menu description. All first class, excellent value for money, & comfortable , clean, & hygienic tables & chairs. Only slight critisicm would be the acoustic's could be improved, as not brilliant when the room is nearly full, especially if tables of larger groups of excited people all talking & not listening.

We had a great time! Food was delicious and the staff excellent. Cote has never disappointed. First time in the Chichester restsurant and it was a good experience.

Well up to snuff. Like the atmosphere in Cote. Like the multi national staff and obvious good management. And the food and service is consistently of high standard

Whilst the food was very good the service was poor, we arrived at around 3.00pm were seated and waited nearly 15 minutes before being offered drinks. Not the standard we are used too at Cotes. Probably due to staff breaks after the lunch period.

The service was excellent. Order was taken swiftly and we did not have to wait long. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive and pleasant

The food. was lovely and excellent choice. But unfortunately we all ended up covered in spinach due to a member of Staff dropping a plate.

Ordered Plat Rapide Steak & Frites. Arrived practically same time of ordering! Slightly overdone steak was quickly changed without any fuss. Overall very enjoyable meal.

A regular diner at Cote Chichester, food, excellent service and value for money keeps bringing me back with friends and family and am able to recommend you as a great restaurant.

Polite staff. Good service. Tasty food which was well presented. My irritation is the water glasses always smell of detergent so I get mine rinsed out. I still maintain over £5.50 for a general pudding is too much, unless it is very special.

Friendly, efficient staff. The Steak Tartare was excellent (though some might prefer to mix the egg yolk in themselves). The veal escalopes (think schnitzel) were generous and well-prepared. The frites were a little dry. Excellent desserts. All up, a very good evening.

five of our starters, mains and desserts were very good but my wife's main of chicken was dry and the accompanying beans undercooked. The restaurant gave us a full refund on this course and the manager was both efficient and helpful in dealing with our concerns. As a result we left with a very positive impression rather than otherwise.

Very pleasant welcome by front-of-house. Waitress extremely attentive without being "in your face". Relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Food always to a high standard.

We had a lovely time! My friend (whose birthday it was that week) and I thoroughly enjoyed a leisurely lunch in a very pleasant atmosphere. The meal was very good. (We did consider the asparagus to be too 'al dente', as it was difficult to cut, but the sauce was absolutely delicious). The service was extremely good and the manager was particularly pleasant and helpful. We'll come again!

As always, I enjoyed having lunch (twice!) this week at Cote Brasserie in Chichester. The food and service are both dependably good, the set lunch menu is varied and interesting, and the atmosphere is lively without being too loud/distracting. I am a regular visitor to Cote Brasserie, both locally and further afield, and expect to remain so.

As always the service was quick , efficient and friendly. Cote is our go to restaurant, we can rely on the quality of food and good value.

A very enjoyable evening in all respects, from the quality of the food to the service. We will definitely be going there again as soon as possible.

The customer service is consistently excellent as is the two course lunch at £10.95. The wine list is sensibly priced as well. Good value and express speed of service.

My friend had a fantastic steak- perfectly cooked medium rare. The service is always fantastic here and the staff are brilliant. My veal escalope was excellent but I had to get a doggy bag as I couldn't finish it! The Merlot is a great wine choice.

We had a lovely meal, good service and the added plus were the free Kir Royals for my birthday gift. This is our favourite lunch time venue. Thank you Cote.

Chichester Cote has become our regular lunchtime haunt when we are in the area. The service is good and the staff deserve their gratuity. The food was well presented and a generous portion.

As usual Cote lived up to it's reputation of being good value good service and a pleasant evening. The menu had seasonal food which was well thought out.

Once again a successful visit and an enjoyable meal in pleasant surroundings. The wine is a tad on the pricy side; a cheaper house wine would be welcome!

Great food presented beautifully and hot on serving, great service from staff will certainly be going back to cote. Very good value for money I think.

Always enjoy going to the Cote. Service was good but as restaurant was busy it wasn't as good as usual. They took wine order for some members of our table but didnt ask others then one lot of starters arrived and others didnt. Food was very nice however I always get the pork and this time it was tough and a bit overdone. Still had a good night overall

As ever lovely food, ambience and friendly staff. This was a family birthday celebration some of whom had not been to Cote so I think they will definitely be returning.
