Fantastic service but two of the dishes were wrong and had to be sent back to be corrected. Far too much pepper used in the food.

Côte is always reliable - service good and quick for a pre-theatre meal, and very good value for money. "Le rapport prix- qualité était correct".

Superb food, wonderful service from Leslie - as usual. We visit this place at least twice a year and would go more often if we lived closer!

We love Cote and usually frequent Reigate branch as that's where we live, so was hoping Chi branch was going to be as good and we weren't disappointed! Great staff, service and food. Was my dads 80th birthday celebration and couldn't have been better. Will be back.

Sundays would not be quite the same without our lunchtime visit to this restaurant. We've eaten at other Cote restaurants and, although the menus are the same elsewhere, Chichester remains our firm favourite. Maybe it is the atmosphere generated by the friendly staff who are always very welcoming and keen to make our visit enjoyable.

Overall the food was very good and the service was friendly. We only gave a score of 4 because: 1. The chocolate desert was granular rather than smooth, so it was replaced with the crumble, which was very good. 2. Our order for two coffees got lost, so we were kept waiting until we ordered again. 3. Our companion reported that the Ladies toilet was not clean, especially behind the door. In fairness, the Manager kindly adjusted our bill for these oversights and we were happy to pay the 12% gratuity. We have eaten there quite often and think it is good value. From time-to-time things go wrong but they are always very good at resolving any issues. Happy to recomment the Cote in Chichester.

As always lovely staff and very helpful, my nan's steak was served nearly cold and so were my chips but both issues were resolved in minutes and the staff were brilliant about it. Great food (other than the blip) as always.

A very disappointing experience. My wife's calamari was like rubber and inedible. The manager agreed and the remaining calamari stock was thrown away. Doesn't anyone taste the food before it is served? The mackerel was tasteless, as was the moules. The moules and the sauce tasted as though it had been stewing for several hours and was just bland. We have enjoyed meals at other Cote locations, but this first time visit in Chichester was a disaster.

Cote is consistently good news. The pre-dinner menu was remarkably varied, the service was rapid and the ambience great. Add excellent food at a remarkable low price - you couldn't ask for more!

Lunch - pleasant, prompt and good value. Ambience quite buzzy but not overly so. One had fixed price lunch menu, the other selected from the a la carte.

Welcoming efficient staff. Tasty food. Quite large portions so could probably just had main course instead of starter as well. Largest wine glass is 175 ml - no 250 ml which I prefer.

As usual the food was very good. We ate at 5.30 pre theatre.. Only complaint, tables far too near together so not much room and very little privacy unless you spoke very quietly. Not sure whether they have included more tables for the holiday season but I do not remember it being so cramped as this before.

Excellent meal. All three courses delicious, and it is rare to find a restaurant that does starters, main courses and desserts all really well. The staff were lovely; friendly and professional. Service was at just the right pace, with no long waits and no sense of rushing.

Warmth of welcome, ordering and menus were good. The service that followed was timely and efficient. Food quality good, portion size adequate and plates were hot on arrival. So far, so good. Wine prices too high, particularly if you factor in the obligatory service charge!

Great food, really lovely choice of dishes; everyone had something different and everyone loved their choice. Lovely atmosphere, we didn't feel rushed at all; staff gave us plenty of time to chat and choose, but once ordered, service was prompt. Such an enjoyable evening.

The restaurant was packed. Glad we had booked because they were turning people away at the door. And I can see why - highly efficient and friendly staff. The manager couldn't have been more helpful. The food was superb and was delivered in a timely and well-paced manner. The set menu was excellent value for money with a good range of options. Can't fault any of it.

Service was excellent. However, the glazed carrots (GF) appeared to have a dressing with them that I found not very nice, and the frozen berry dessert was rather too sweet, maybe because I only used a little of the chocolate sauce. The others in my group enjoyed their meals.

IT was very good starting from arrival through to leaving the restaurant the vegetable risotto that I had was very enjoyable and my friend - a Chichester local - very much enjoyed her goats cheese salad. Her leaving comments to me summed it up well - the food is good the restaurant is very clean and the staff are all polite and well mannered so no doubt when we meet up again it will be at Cotes

We've visited the Brighton Cote on many occasions but this was the first time in the Chichester branch. Excellent service and very good food. The breaded langoustine tails were absolutely fantastic! The piquant chicken was slightly on the dry side but nice enough. The seafood linguine seemed to go down particularly well with others as did the chicken and walnut salad. Lovely bottle of Picpoul. Altogether a lovely experience. I'd definitely recommend.

I love Cote restaurants. I am coeliac and the food choices are wonderful and the little Gluten free flag on each fish is really comforting! Our meal was absolutely delicious.... we had superb service and the only down side to the whole experience was that the Chichester Cote is acoustically very noisy. I have been to Cote in Harrogate (regularly) and to Blackheath and the acoustics in those two branches are better than at Chichester where at times it was hard to hear the person sitting next to me.

Another excellent lunch at Cote, Chichester. We ate from the fixed price menu and all our dishes were very good. The menu is good value at the best of times, but thanks to the July offer under the Rewards scheme we enjoyed two meals for the price of one, which made our meal even better value for money. The service was pleasant and efficient, as always and we shall be back before long for another lunch or pre-theatre supper.
