Very good food and service and excellent pre theatre menu. Excellent starters. But ery limited options in mains for those who are vegetarian. Lovely dessert menu.

We received a warm welcome and we had a choice of tables. Service was attentive and friendly. The slow-cooked pork belly was succulent and the crackling was crisp and crunchy. An all-round highly satisfying experience. Can hardly wait to repeat!

Lovely French style brasserie. Reasonably priced good food. I particularly enjoyed my duck (cooked pink) and hubby had steak frites. We shared a couple of desserts and rather nice bottle of red wine. They have lunchtime deals and monthly changing specials so something for everyone.

Excellent food, excellent service and what's more good value for money lunch including a few treats you might not be bothered to cook at home. Will be back. Thank you

Great restaurant, very consistent. Service is relatively unobtrusive and possibly basic but the food delivers. Small issue with cooking preference on steak was well handled and recovered. Highly recommend.

As usual, we enjoyed our lunch at Cote Chichester. Our only minor observation is that our waiter did not ask us if we were enjoying our meal after a short period of eating our main course.

Third visit to this branch of Cote, this time for breakfast. Still excellent service and excellent value for money. Will definitely return.

We had a fabulous lunch on Friday with excellent food and service as always. The lunch time fixed menu is great value and delicious, and the food/service are consistently great.

Excellent. Good food and friendly staff. They were really nice to my one year old granddaughter. And amazingly they wouldn't accept an additional tip on top of the service charge.

Best restaurant in Chichester. Food always tasty, good choice on menu. A few vegetarian dishes to choose from. My husband says the steak is unfailingly good. A little in the pricey side but worth it for the perfect service (always quick, attentive but not intrusive) and lovely atmosphere (beautiful art deco type interior design, always popular but never too loud).

Great food and excellent service. Also a light and cheerful environment. Portions not too large, which suits me, and a good range of choices on the set menu.

The Food was excellent as usual but the service was slow probably as the restaurant was very busy. We were going to the cinema afterwards so were hoping for quite a quick meal but unfortunately we found ourselves watching the clock constantly as the service was a lot slower than normal which rather spoilt the meal. As mentioned the restaurant was very busy but they also seemed rather short staffed which obviously didn't help the situation.

Very good service. Wine of good quality. Food well cooked and of good flavour. Suggest rolls are served with the excellent mushroom as normal. We shall be returning in the future! Oh yes - we both thought there should be pictures on the walls - either well known French landmarks or impressionist work! Just a thought - but we love the bevel led mirrors and colour scheme! We were looked after extremely well by the staff and the food was great as always, we have never had a bad experience at Cote

We had the most delicious meal and wine. I had the fish pie. Best ever. My heart blue had salmon which was perfect. Will be back soon

The service was excellent as was the food. The staff are always friendly but work efficiently and nothing is too much trouble. The lunchtime menu not only provides a good range of dishes, but is terrific value too.

Very friendly restaurant that serves delicious food. The set menu in the week is excellent as well as the weekend menu. Am a frequent visitor to my local Cote.

Good service, excellent food and with the free bottle of wine deal it was very good value. With its location it was perfect of our pre -theatre meal.

Great service and good food. The only issue is that the restaurant is very noisy. I know It was a busy time but maybe the store design needs more thought. You can hardly hear your friends talk. Also, the back of the restaurant is like a canteen. The front by The window is much nicer.

The set menu for lunch had imaginative choices & was good value. Steak frites were - as usual - excellent. The service today was particularly friendly and attentive. We will come again.

Cotes Chichester is always a pleasant experience.. the staff are great very friendly and the food is wonderful. There is always a great atmosphere in the restaurant no mater when you go..

Excellent as usual, staff could not be better, food just yummy, wine excellent, just the whole experience is brilliant, which is why we keep returning and bringing different guests, all who want to come again. Many thanks.

We had an excellent meal from the pre-theatre menu, which was served promptly and efficiently. We would definitely go back next time we are staying in Chichester.

Great food. Good service by the two waiters but not by the person who brought the food out. She didn’t think to clear the table of olives, bread and side plates before trying to place down three main course plates and a side order which was on a large plate. This opulent for into the middle of the table so she pushed my plate to the side which would have meant me eating from the corner of the table. We suggested she cleared the table first, then took the side order dish off the huge plate it had come in and then it would fit. She did this, slid my plate back in front of me, placed my knife which had been used to spread butter on my bread back on my plate, this then slid into the jus! I asked for another knife, she then asked whether we had everything we wanted, so I again requested a knife to eat my pork belly with. She seemed impossible incompetent. Such a shame...otherwise a great meal!

Would love to have given higher but once again my steak from the steak frites was warm not hot. This has happened before sadly. Everything was really good. Loved the beetroot starter and my usual desert of creme caramel.

Good service and good food. Very busy though and quite stuffy at the rear of the restaurant. Food always enjoyable but the 'extras' ( eg bread to go with your soup or vegetables to go with your main course ) can leave you with a large bill ! During the week the pre theatre set menu is the one to go for but again the extras can blow anyone on a budget. So its a good, lively place to eat and I do eat there most times I am in Chichester, but not good value for money.

Service very good, food very good. But why is a 12.5% 'optional' gratuity added to the bill without the payer first exercising the 'option' and the amount they might wish to give?

Staff very pleasant, not rushed, gave us time to great our guests over a drink before ordering our food - Ace, we will definitely be back

Really good evening - good atmosphere, service and food. Recommend the salmon starter and pressed belly of pork. Use Cote a lot due to the consistent quality.

Fabulous service and lovely food. Very nice. Can get noisy but we sat near the front as recommended and it was better. A bit pricey but nice for a special occasion

Excellent food and service, haven't had a bad meal or experience, have eaten here on several occasions both with family and friends, good value for money.

Very nice food and service, lacked atmosphere because the restaurant was quite empty, but is was 5 pm on a Sunday. I did feel that the Beef bourguignon was a little over priced for the quantity although the quality was very good.

Good choice in the fixed price menu. Good tasting food but the food was served quickly without adequate breaks in between courses. Wine choices Ok. Atmosphere good and service was excellent

Not visited Cote except for evenings. Breakfast was excellent. Full English, freshly cooked, and the Complet, both delicious. Went because of a meal deal but will look to go again. Great value at the full price.

It was our first visit to Cote Brasserie in Chichester and for a birthday celebration. We all choose the set menu and our food was excellent. As it was lunchtime we didn't want a big meal and the food was just right. It was a nice touch for the birthday girl to receive a glass of fizz from Cote. We will definitely be returning again soon!

Love it here, food was excellent, staff were attentive and checking that everything was ok. Just a perfect evening and will be going again very soon.

Booked at short notice, staff friendly and welcoming, we were recognised as regular customers and shown to the table of our choice. A very pleasant late lunch.

Lunchtime htime set menu great value and great food and good staff but be wary 12.5% service added to bill already. Don't leave extra tip.

As always we spent a lovely evening at. Cote Chichester. Food, service and ambiance all excellent. Highly recommend and will certainly be returning in the near future
