Great tasting food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Walked in on the off-chance which was no problem at all and all menus explained to us.

Yet again a first class meal. This time we went for the main menu.Starter of smoked salmon was very generous with delicious dressing.The sea bream for the main course is to be recommended .It was very fresh and beautifully presented. The Breton chicken was very tender and tasty.The staff were as always attentive and courteous.

We enjoyed a leisurely Sunday lunch. The restaurant was busy but, once our order had been taken the food arrived in reasonable time. The menu was varied, the food tasty, the service good and staff polite and helpful. Will happily come again.

Great breakfast and great service. The choice suited our group, ths vegetarian breakfast was particularly good and the portions were bigger than expected. Will go again

As always a fantastic breakfast with good friendly service. Always a great experience. Will be returning again soon. Would definitely highly recommend. One of the best venues in Chichester.

Fabulous as always. Attentive staff and excellent food. I had sirloin steak and my mum had confit duck which was super yummy. Very busy lunch service but we still received our food in good time. Excellent value.

Service and food was ok, ordered an extra tiny jug of cream as there wasn’t enough and they charged for it. Small charge but unnecessary.

Great service, arrived and greeted with kir Royales! Food as always was fantastic. Kids menu was great - chicken perfectly cooked. Rotisserie chicken with mushroom sauce was superb and creme caramel to die for! Will be back again soon

We visited for mothers day as it's out favourite place. As usual we were greeted with a friendly smile. The food was excellent as always. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I can't wait to visit again soon.

We are regular customers as the service is friendly and professional and the food consistently good. It is nice to see familiar faces when we go and not a constant staff turnover.

Lovely meal with friends. Staff very accommodating as we asked to move our table to a "quieter" area. This was done with a minimum of fuss.

Staff, service and food great as usual although very busy being Mothering Sunday. We have used Cote in a few cities and never been disappointed.

Friendly and efficient staff with excellent service. Five of us, all had different choices and all food was excellent. Would recommend to others and will go back again ourselves.

Another lovely family meal in Cote Chichester. As always the food was fabulous, all starters were thoroughly enjoyed and the squid was delicious. Mains again the usual Cote standard and enjoyed by all. The staff here are friendly, the atmosphere is great. I have eaten in Cote so many time now I am running out of compliments.

The staff were very polite & attentive. Unfortunately my Fish Parmentier was decidedly short on fish and I'm afraid this made me feel it was overpriced. My wife & I would also have preferred a quieter table with less harsh lighting. We couldn't easily relax. Finally we both felt that a 12% surcharge (whilst theoretically optional) was far too much of an assumption. We would always leave a tip but this was £7 which was both too much & only revealed as we were paying the bill.

I always enjoy a visit to Cote but on this occasion we found the breaded chicken dish very dry. It needed more sauce and a bit more rocket to enjoy it at its fullest.

The staff were attentive and considering it was mothers day and they were rushed off their feet they were excellent. The food was also very good indeed, and all meals were enjoyed by my family.

Mothering Sunday was an especially busy day at Cote Chichester. When my friend and I arrived at 2.30pm the restaurant was still full - thank goodness we had booked. We simply had main courses - one of the roast chicken from the Weekend Specials and I had the chicken and walnut salad from the Light Mains. Both of us had plenty to eat, although the croutons in my salad were very small and soft not crisp. I left them all. However, we were attended as quickly as usual. We were only drinking water and a second bottle arrived almost as soon as I had asked for it. I indulged with a Coupe Noire which was scrummy and I enjoyed every moment. We asked for separate bills and again no fuss. Thank you Cote. We will be back soon.

A fabulous Mother’s Day Brunch. The restaurant was so busy and full of laughter, such a warm welcome wishing me a happy mother’s day. Service fantastic, food fantastic. A lovely way to start the day.

Always a lovely experience both staff and food. However first time ever the additional vegetable side orders were cold and soggy. Great shame. Hate to post this.

The service was fantastic abd the staff were really friendly and extremely helpful. The food was delicious and all the orders were correct and served very quickly, and there was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant .

Fantastic service and food as always. Particularly quick on mother’s day, when you would expect delays due to people. Over 200 covers for breakfast and no one was rushed or pushed. Thank you!

As per normal the staff are excellent: friendly, helpful and very efficient. The food was good but my starter was a little overcooked as was my husband's steak but it would not stop us from returning to Cote time & time again.

French breakfast this morning was delicious. The brioche would have been appreciated more if served on a separate side plate with maybe butter at time of serving. Both of these points were quickly rectified when requested. As usual the staff were very polite and attentive.

Friendly service, good food and a lovely atmosphere. We had fish pie and duck breast for our mains, both very good. I would liked to have had some vegetables served with the main though rather than having to be ordered as a side.

As normal great service and excellent food thank you. We had our complimentary drink which was suberb we both enjoyed the fish dishes and the bottle of wine was perfect

Friendly and competent staff and delicious food. We particularly liked the Chichester Cote's location. We live near Dorking and Reigate so are in both Cote restaurants regularly and enjoy eating in those as well.

Standards invariably good except for slightly stringy steak on last visit. Service discreet and commendably quick . Atmosphere cheerful . We will be certainly return.

Great atmosphere, good service and good food at affordable prices. My couscous with chargrilled vegetables was excellent. We loved our free Kir Royal., well done Cote Chi.

We had excelkent food and service despite the restaurant being very busy. It was my friend’s birthday and she appreciated the complementary glass of Kir Royal.

The meal for three of us was good but the main for the fourth person was too salty to be edible but it was taken away and eventually a replacement was delivered

Lively french style restaurant in the centre of town. Varied menu with lots of choices and includes several fish dishes. Prices are mid range and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Enjoyable meal - a good value three course lunch special for £13.50, particularly enjoyed the pea soup, nicely cooked and presented, very good unobtrusive service.

Nice decor. Very small table for 2. Delivery of first course was quick and the calamare were just cooked (rather than waiting for a diner). Calamare were a good sized portion for a starter and well cooked. Main course was pork belly which we both had and enjoyed. Staff pleasant chatty and attentive.
