Côte Chichester

Cote is always a reliable place to eat wherever we are staying away with great food and seasonal choices etc. Our visit last night was marred slightly by feeling we were being rushed. We had only just ordered our pre-dinner drinks and the main course was delivered. Consequently it was getting cold until we began to eat. Also there were too many interruptions to ask ‘if everything was alright‘ by different members of staff, who frankly seemed indifferent and were just asking as a formality. It’s a shame but hopefully a one off experience.........

Excellent attentative service, great food and wine in a lovely setting. Very enjoyable evening.

I have never had a meal at Cote Chichester that I have not enjoyed enormously; excellent food, convivial atmosphere, love the art-deco decor, and the super-efficient staff. Unbeatable.

A pleasure as always to go to Cote in Chichester. The staff are always very pleasant,and the food never disappoints.

The manager has exactly what the restaurant trade needs, a genuine, warm, friendly, engaging welcome. He is fantastic, the food was fine but he is what made our visit special.

It was my birthday and I was there with my 5 friends to celebrate. The staff were very welcoming, food was as always, delicious. Although Covid is about, it was just wonderful to be out celebrating again. The restaurant paid strict attention to distancing in the restaurant, but it didn’t feel oppressive. It really was a great evening!

Lovely kind staff and amazing food every time I visit.

My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary dinner here, as we always do. Cote Chichester is our favourite restaurant. The Manager always remembers us, he and his staff are exemplary! The food is always outstanding, we still haven’t found a restaurant we like better... would highly recommend!

Food was lovely, portion sizes were on the small side. I had chateaubriand meant to share and I didn't think it was a big enough fillet steak. Only had 2 slices each. Wasn't value for money.

The food was delicious and the staff were amazing. I had put in our booking that it was a birthday celebration for my husband. He was over the moon with the complimentary mimosa and dessert; he said it was the best service he has had for a long time. We will be back.

As per usual the staff are what make the experience at Cote. Cote is the only chain in Chichester with a personal feel. The food is reliably tasty, arrives at a good pace and I've never had a bad dinner here. The staff are so friendly and nice, create a great atmosphere and are extremely attentive. It's lovely to see the same faces again and again serving you, and always with a smile. I am moving away from Chichester soon and I shall miss this place.

We went for an early pre-movie light meal and glass of wine. Very friendly, helpful service, and very fast - our food arrived within about 15 minutes! Wine good, food fresh and tasty. I always enjoy my meals at Côté, no matter which one we’ve been to.

We love Cote Brassiere, as a family we’ve eaten at many of their restaurants. So to celebrate my Nans 85th birthday there was no doubt that this was the perfect place to celebrate. We had a lovely evening, the food was amazing and the attentive staff made our experience extra special, especially for the birthday girl. Once again exceptional!!!!

For the first time ever after many visits it was a dsappoining experience. The service, ambience etc was excellent but the lamb rump that was served was very poor quality meat and not properly cooked. It was grilled on the outside and raw on the inside and the inside contained great globules of uncooked fat and gristle. Also I no longer feel that the resaturant offers good value. For people who are light eaters the plates are overfull and food is wasted. What happened to the 'Table d'hote' menu? With that facility one could dine weeky but now with the hight prices plus tweleve and a half percent service charge it is a very expensive night out. In fairness I have to point out that the lamb main course was not charged for.

Brilliant meal as always and perfect service. Always the same quality. Love it here. Need to expand drinks menu a little for today’s market. Flavoured gins and tonics are huge right now. Always feel very welcome.

I have dined at Cote twice this week. Each time I have been very impressed both by the food and the covid preparations. I have been a customer for several years and in all that time expecially in the Chichester resaurant I have never had reason to complain, the service and the food is excellent. I am Gluten free so that adds another dimension ,one request in that area please make a gluten free crumble for the winter, its very simple to do.!!
