Côte Chichester

Lovely decor, food was good (not excellent) but the staff made the experience enjoyable. Tyrone, the manager, was exemplary. Chicken was quite dry, but good flavours. Portions are on the small side. Complimentary water was a nice touch.

An excellent meal as we have come to expect. I enjoyed the summer cocktail! Unfortunately my husband wasn't very well so ate vey little which spoilt the experience

A very good restaurant. The food is excellent and very well prepared. The chocolate pot is addictive! The staff are very attentive and polite. I reccomend it highly.

Great food and excellent customer service. The Bistro had a real buzz about it even though we were there early for a pre-theatre dinner. We were well looked after by our waiter who was both attentive and also knowledgable about local theatre and their productions. A great way to start our Saturday evening.

Slow service in ordering this time . Waiting to order desserts but left . Pity about the service but the food was good as usual. Restaurant wasn't full!

I don’t mind paying more for good quality food but unfortunately here you don’t get it! Meals were little more than microwaved ready meals. Very dissatisfied.

A Pleasant breakfast, the staff are extremely attentive, my only comment would be that my bacon on the english breakfast was somewhat overcooked. My next Cote Brasserie will be in Dorchester next week.

Good service and excellent food, good quality & very tasty! The atmosphere is just right. The only thing I didn’t know was that you could request a window table when booking, I must look into that next time!

Superb onion soup. A very pleasing chardonnay. Excellent mussels starter. Steak dish a little disappointing. Servers extremely pleasant and most welcoming. Very understanding of the two of us arriving late!

It has become a family favourite to visit Cote for a pre-theatre dinner and last night confirmed why Cote is our restaurant of choice. As always we had great value for money, the plaice fillets were particularly excellent and the 'steak frites' never let us down. The friendliness of the staff is second to none, setting us up for a fantastic evening out without fail.

Nice restaurant, friendly and very efficient staff combined with excellent food made our experience perfect. Well done. We will not hesitate to recommend you to our friends and look forward to our next visit.

Excellent evening. The only downside being initial noise from other diners, but that is not the restaurant's fault, rather the price of popularity! The staff couldn't be friendlier & more efficient - at one point I dropped my knife & a staff member was there with a replacement before I had a chance to retrieve it! On top of that, the food was very good, all of which is why I keep coming back!

There were a couple of issues over how our beef was cooked, all professionally handled by our superb server, Vert happy. Great value, always worth a visit.

Such a good restaurant for lunch, with the choice of light main courses. I ate the salmon with ratatouille and it was delicious. The service is always prompt but never rushing, and so friendly.

As ever, we had a good breakfast at Cote. Service was really good and waitress was really friendly and very helpful. Excellent choice of food too.

Reasonable price good service lovely setting .. the cut price set menu is excellent for midweek visits and the menu is varied and decent . Overall the cote contributed to a good evening with my partner

We arrived to a warm welcome and on being seated a charming waitress took our drinks order which arrived promptly. We chose the pre-theatre menu and both our starters and mains were excellent. A lovely meal in convivial surroundings - will be back

Great service, and good food as always at Cote. Arrived with a wheelchair and staff kindly put us on a spacious table and pointed out the disabled toilets which were close to us.

Had a lovely meal great choice for gluten free but it would be nice to have a little more choice on the dessert for dairy free.

The food at Cotes is good and a very reasonable price with the set menu at lunchtime. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We go there regularly and would definitely recommend it.

As always, excellent service and good food. They always automatically give you water and always seem to be there when you want them, but never intrusive.

The choice of food is excellent and very good value for money. Staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We very much enjoyed our lunch complemented with some very nice rose wine which came as part of the June special offer. We have been to several Cote’s around the country and have always been impressed with the menus, food and staff.

Fish parmentier with watery mash and sourdough not as fresh compared with same dishes served at the bury st. Edmunds branch this year. Staff and service very good so just a bit more care and attention with food being served.

We always enjoy the meals at Cote Chichester and we can usually reserve a table on the same day that we want to eat there.

Tuna dish was dry, not as ordered. Pork belly dish also dry. The meals seem too long in the kitchen keeping warm before serving at table

Extensive menu, great service, good atmosphere. What's not to like? Has become our favourite restaurant and their high standards have never been compromised Would recommend without hesitation
