Always a friendly welcome, the staff at Cote Chichester are all very professional and friendly. The food is excellent as is the wine list and the prices are very competitive. The restaurant is a clean cool space where you will feel immediately comfortable. Overall Cote is a perfect setting for casual meals or a fine dining experience. Well worth a visit.

Excellent service. Nice setting. Good food. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening but did not like the service charge of 12.5% on the bill. We like to leave cash of our chosen amount

While not being a gourmet restaurant we had a very satisfactory meal and experience. We will come again and it is useful to be open on a Sunday evening.

A wonderful welcome, as always, time to greet our friends on arrival before order taken. The four of us all enjoyed the three course lunch - a lovely light lunch - ideal for the sunny hot weather! Everything was well presented and delicious!

We have visited several Cote restaurants and frequently eat at our local one. They are all great and Chichester was no exception. Staff always very friendly and polite, clean restaurants and excellent choice of menu. Well done Cote!

Excellent service and good food. No sense of being rushed. We will definitely be returning. My sister enjoyed the Breton chicken. It was her first visit to Côte. I liked the duck with cherries.

Very good service and lovely food. Cote is my first choice of restaurant in Chichester - the staff couldn't be more helpful and pleasant. It's always a pleasure to eat there and, on top of the always charming service and great food, it's great value for money.

Excellent experience all round, great food, reasonable prices and superb service from fantastic waitress! Wonderful Kir Royales too! A lovely end to an afternoon at the theatre! Will definitely return when in Chichester again! Well done Cote, you never fail to impress!

Pre theatre dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food minimalistic and expensive for what it was as they do not serve the set menu on a Saturday night for pre theatre dinner.

Delicious food, generous portions, attractively presented and in a timely manner. Spacious seating and helpful staff. Personally, I thought the music a little too loud, must be my age. The on line table booking worked well and although we arrived 15 minutes early we were still seated and served promptly.

Very friendly front of house staff, good food, great service. We always eat at Cote if we are in a town which has one as we have always enjoyed the food. Chichester has one of the best because it's staff are so fantastic.

Pleasant atmosphere, not too noisy and our waitress was charming. BUT the portions were far too small. This annoys me because the food is by no means cheap. Profit margins must be huge.

The service was not quite what it had been on other occasions. A little "je ne sais quoi" was missing. However, this will not stop be dining with you again. Perhaps it was different staff to other occasions when I have been there.

Great food and great service. I enjoyed the duck great with cherry sauce and authorise potatoes. Hubby had steak fritters. We shared Apple tart and a bottle of merlot. L

The staff went out of their way to make sure we were able to arrive in good time to the theatre. To that I must add that the food we had was very good and came well up to the standard we have come to expect at COTE. (With or without the circumflex). Thanks for a very pleasant experience. A very pleasant meal, I chose the veal on the a la cart menu and was delighted with it. My wife enjoyed the fish pie.

In spite of being really busy with pre-theatre diners (and therefore a bit noisy) the service was attentive and efficient and the food, as always, delicious.

The food was delicious. A complimentary kir was a bonus for my friend's birthday. Service was attentive but not overpowering and we did not feel at all hurried. I always choose to come here for lunch when eating out in town.

This is the first time we have been disappointed with the food and the service at Cote. The food looked and tasted as though it had been reheated, and the service was incredibly slow and indifferent. But it was a hot and busy weekend, and all is forgiven! We'll return hoping that things are back to their usual 6!

Lovwly aervide, good menu and a lovely environment in which to go for dinner. For thr prive, the food cannot be questioned, and we will be coming back.

Excellent food quality as always, warm welcome and professional staff. Had the 3 course set menu for £19.95, great value and choice. One small hiccup, they forgot our side orders, but soon rectified with a gental reminder.

Went to Cote in Chichester for a pre theatre dinner. As always the food was very good and the staff, friendly and courteous. However the service was a little too quick; we were only half way through our bread and olives when the main course arrived!

As always the quality of food and service were both excellent. We had only a very short wait or food. My grandson said it was the best steak he had ever had.

Excellent service, and food. Up to the standard we have always received. Will definitely go to Cote Chichester again. Look forward to booking again in the near future.

Very well paced and friendly service - busy restaurant but I was very happy with the atmosphere and food/wine - I visit quite a lot of Cote branches but Chichester seems to be more relaxed and professional = thank you

Friendly, efficient wait staff. Nice restaurant if a bit noisy. Food on the whole good - typical brasserie fare and good value. Wine by the glass (we had 3 different glasses between us) was very enjoyable and again fair value. Would recommend.

Atmosphere great and staff very friendly as usual. Food great except the steak frites had some gristle in which made it tough to cut. Still tasty though.

We had Cote’s usual excellent food and service yesterday. Staff are prompt, thoughtful, polite and cheerful. Food is hot and well presented. We will continue to use this restaurant.

The food today for our visit to Cote was excellent. The service provided was also very good. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

First class service and top quality food. From the moment the manager welcomed us we were made to feel valued and attended to by all the staff in a friendly and professional manner. The food was also excellent and such good value.

Our starters (mackerel and the heritage tomato salad) were very good. The fish, peas and little gem lettuce was a little overcooked and not as fresh as usual. However the seafood linguine was excellent. Your crumbles and crème caramel are the best in the South !!

I was glad I’d booked a table because by 12.30 pm most tables had been taken. The service was good until after our main course. We had to wait a while for the dessert menu but chose virtually straight away then had to signal someone after 10-15 minutes to order, as we were going to the theatre. The food was perfect and we couldn’t fault it. My friend had a starter with Parma ham, followed by veal. I had salmon, followed by tarte au citron. Be careful about the bill as 12.5% service charge is added.

Staff good. Meal not good. Minute steaks so tough that they were inedible. What a disappointment after so many good visits to this branch of Cote.

Yesterday excellent meals & service. Last Sunday good meals but very poor service. Food a bit slow but o/k. although we were given a complimentory drink, we were not offered the chance to buy further drinks until our meal was nearly finished.
