A nice relaxed atmosphere with great food and friendly attentive service. Good to see a restaurant so busy. Obviously the team are doing something right!

The perfect pre-theatre meal venue. Staff are efficient and friendly and the food is excellent. We eat here regularly and have never had anything other than a good experience.

Relaxed but very efficient service, good selection of dishes on the lunch menu and very reasonably priced. Staff quite happy for us to drink water.

Wonderful French male member of staff who looked after our four sun hats and couldn't have been more helpful. All the Cote staff in any branch are the best and charming young people you will come across.

Very busy restaurant due to the Goodwood Races so the service wasn’t up to the usual standard. The poached eggs were hard and we had to ask twice for our tea and coffe. Waiter was very apologetic.

Lovely menu and delicious food served by friendly and efficient staff who made our dining experience very special as it was our 45th wedding anniversary. Thank you!

Fabulous champers, excellent food and charming waiters. Service was first class and the happy staff set the tone for the lovely time we spent there celebrating two birthdays!

With Cote you always know what you are going to get, which is good food for a good price but the service level in this branch was excellent.

Food was of the usual high standard. The waitress, who has been there for a while, was as hopeless as ever and has a complete lack of carisma and is in need of some basic training. We were left waiting for our main course, only to find that she had forgotten to inform the kitchen. As ever, the Cote Management was excellent and resolved all to everybody's satisfaction. We enjoyed the meal but there always seems to be some little hitch there.

Excellent food and service. Great variety and good value for money. Great place for a meal. The restaurant is always busy which is a good sign.

As ever cheerful service; albeit a salad with artichoke hearts as the main attraction was pretty much devoid of this element. Otherwise a good experience.

Lovely table. Good service. Tasty food. We were a party of 4 going onto the theatre so had a pre theatre meal which was perfect.

Usual high standard foodwise and customer care. A pleasant way to spend your lunchtime or a treat for dinner, maybe pre-theatre. Varied menu all beautifully cooked and presented. Never disappointed.

Staff were excellent and definitely the best G&T 'in the world'. However, food was a bit disappointing. I've eaten at Cote many times and always thoroughly enjoyed it but the last twice have been less than brilliant. Last time the omelette was like a man-hole cover and this time the roasted (???) vegetables that accompanied the lovely warm goats cheese were barely cooked and certainly not brown, caramelised and roasted. In addition, the accompanying salad was minimal and unexciting. It's like the restaurant has got so busy that they cannot cope.

Very busy and buzzy; however service was excellent and food arrived quickly. Staff were knowledgeable about the menu and even looked up the ingredients of a purée I asked about.

A very busy night in the restaurant due to Glorious Goodwood but staff and food remained up to their usual high standard. Well done to all concerned it can't be easy on these occasions.

Always excellent good food, great atmosphere and without question excellent staff to look after us. We will always return. My favourite is the Breton chicken with garlic butter.

Excellent food and warm welcome as usual. Only problem for us is the noise level when the restaurant is busy so the only reason it is not our number one restaurant. It is number one in Chichester for every other reason.

We booked Cote for pre theatre dining. As usual we were spoilt for choice from the menu. The food was well up to the standard we expect from Cote. The staff were friendly and efficient. A good start to a relaxing and enjoyable evening.

Excellent, efficient service. Good menu choices. Lovely atmosphere / ambience in the restaurant. We met with friends, enjoyed a well-paced leisurely lunch and were able to linger over the meal. A 5* experience !

Delicious food and polite and helpful staff. Will definitely visit again. Menu varied and everyone in our party agreed that food was well cooked and presented attractively.

Great service and good food. Our one complaint was that the minute steak (steak frites) was tough but this was dealt with with no fuss and the cost deducted from the bill.

As usual the lunch menu was of a very high standard and very good value.The plaice was very fresh and the warm mackerel I would highly reccomend.

Pre theatre meal, booked on line for 17:15 and out in plenty of rime. Great staff, great food, couldn’t fault it. I would highly recommend “Cote Chichester”

Good meal. Had the midweek special menu. Calamari crispy and well cooked. Ribeye slightly overcooked but tasty nonetheless. Creme caramel a nice finish. Enjoyed the Corbiere alongside and over all was a good value 3-course meal.

It was our 35th wedding anniversary & the restaurant staff made it a special evening. The food, as always, was 1st class. Cote remains our favourite restaurant in Chichester.

The food was up to the usual high standard of Cotes Brasserie and the service was excellent as always and there waitors are very attentive.

As ever, excellent food and friendly service. My guests had not eaten at Cote before but they are sure to visit again. Living in Devon thy will go to Exeter.

High quality food and service has always been our experience whichever branch we eat at, very unusual these days. The charming Maitre’d atChichester accommodated us with no fuss even though we arrived early.

As always, a very good lunch at a reasonable price. Our specified table was ready and we were warmly welcomed. I’m not sure how you do it at the price Cote, but please carry on!

Really good breakfast! Gluten free 5*! Excellent customer service and relaxing place to dine. Will definitely return for more of the same. The set breakfast deal is brilliant value and offers plenty of choice as a Coeliac.

Never fails. The staff are brilliant and food superb. Of all the restaurants in Chichester we always choose Cotes. I would highly recommend this place to eat

Very nice as usual. Excellent meal and service. Be aware that the complimentary drink offer limits you to the a la carte menu and you can't use the cheaper fixed lunchtime menus. Person I prefer the fixed lunchtime menus as it limits the cost.

Service excellent, food good. Dark chocolate mousse almost as good as the dark chocolate pot at Cote Devonshire St. We were 15 mins late as the cinema programme was longer than it said it would be but we were nevertheless made to feel welcome. Very good that they had non alcoholic beer too.

As always it was great. The food is delicious, there was even a special menu for vegetarians like me. My carnivorous friend enjoyed his steak too. The staff are lovely. I can always recommend it.

The food was pleasant as were the staff. The portion size of the specials moules starter however, was really quite small. We visit the restaurant regularly and do not usually find that to be the case. We would mention this to staff if the portions are small again.

I reserved the table online,& liked the option to say I would need a table with wheelchair access, from our arrival we received faultless service throughout! Our waiter was very friendly, helpful and attentive,with check backsto ensure our meals were good and asked if anything else was required. I ordered from the vegetarian menu and my sister ordered from the main menu, both of our meals were absolutely delicious and we are looking forward to to our next visit to you! Very reasonable prices for what we both thought was a high end meal! A nice touch was the manager stopped at our table to see how we enjoyed our visit ! Thank you!

Excellent service. Great food. What more can I say? Had lunch with American friends & they were impressed- even got iced tea even though not on the menu.

my auntie was over from Cyprus and had visited on a previous visit. she asked to go back and we were not disappointed.
