Côte Chichester

The food is always very good, reasonable price & the service good - everyone is very pleasant. Although we didn't have used a dessert this evening, we do normally, I particularly like the frozen berries & white chocolate warm cream.

Greeted with a great reception from the staff as this was my 25th visit and free drinks before the meal.such a fantastic suprsise thanks guys.

Service slow, food unremarkable and the rabbit parmentier was served in a dish on a board on a serving flat..why? It was awkward to get out of the dish to eat. My steak frite was not up to the usual standard, rather sinewy. Cote used to be a bit of a treat. Not today. Why do they seat people so close together when there were other tables empty further down the restaurant?

A lovely family meal with children also. Staff always very good with the kids and lots of options on kids Menu. We even went back for breakfast in the morning.

Good food and overall the experience was good and value for money. Only criticism was that we waited 15 minutes to have first contact with our waitress. In the end, the manager took our order.

We had moules then escalope de veau - both excellent, this restaurant consistently exceeds our expectations, both in terms of the service from the staff and the outstanding dishes from the kitchen.

Excellent food, nice size portions with lots of flavour. The food here is consistently good which is why we visit. Service is always friendly without being intrusive.

Food was delicious as always, well presented and the waiters were attentive and helpful. I would always book a Cote restaurant wherever possible. So we have booked Cote in Hays Galeria for this Saturday. I am sure the standard will be just as good as previously.

Overall a great dining experience once again. The August drink special was a winner and the ubiquitous creme caramel is the must have dessert. Staff friendliness always adds to our Côte visit.

My guest and I had a great window table. The service was very efficient and staff very welcoming. The food always cooked to perfection. We had the prestige menu and found it well worth the extra price. Great atmosphere in the restaurant too.

As usual the food was excellent. The service is second to none and the staff make you feel very welcome. A knife or fork dropped is replaced immediately without asking! Marvellous.

I like Cote as they are always consistent with their great service & great tasting food. Regardless of how busy they are they never disappoint.

Shame that because mix up with order 3 of us had our tuna steak being served again cold. When asked at end of meal if all ok, I did mention this but nothing was done. Waiter just said sorry.....

Excellent food and friendly service as usual. This is now our go to restaurant to eat with fiends and family. We have never been disappointed. I recommend you book to reserve a table especially at night.

Very enjoyable and tasty meal. As a general point for any Cote, we always try to choose meals will veg and potatoes in the recipe because the sides bump up the price.

Easy to book online and reservation is always recognised at the branch. The food and service was excellent and the coffee is always strong and good.

Staff were courteous and conformed to my wishes as to the reservation. Service was likewise good. Most of all the food was excellent. We left a head scarf at the restaurant and they have kindly offered to post it back to us.

Nice ambience, decent service and great food. Sancerre wine wasn’t quite as good as others I’ve had but hey-ho! Hope to come back again soon.

The Cotes restaurant in Chichester’ delivers excellent service and food every time I go there . The menu is varied and very reasonably priced. In my option this is the best restaurant in town.

By far the best restaurant in Chichester, and we have tried a few. Wherever we are we always look for a Côte Rest. Food SUPER!

We are frequent visitors to Cote in Chichester and are never disappointed. Food and service are always good. This was a post theatre visit dinner with 6 other friends and everyone enjoyed the experience very much.

Good service but A la Carte menu items not value for money. Two of us had the Rib Eye steak, which was a small portion and my steak was quite sinewy. If we return to Cote we’ll stick to the fixed price menu!

I'm assuming that 6 is the best. Not clear. The food was gorgeous as was the service. I'd like to acknowledge Jake and Alin, who served us.

An excellent experience in a restaurant with a fine French ambiance, very pleasant and efficient staff, foodd that is fresh and most palatable and all at a very reasonable price.

This is a lovely restaurant. We went there yesterday (pre-theatre) and it was very busy, but the service was still excellent and the food was delicious!

Excellent value and always reliable. You know what you are getting with Cote, unlike most of the other chains. I had their cheap lunch menu - vichyssoise, sea bream and crème caramel. Food was good and we stayed on for about 4 hours just chatting. The staff were pleasant and did not try to move us on!

Always a joy to eat here with very friendly staff. The food is consistently good right across the menu and all allergies and dietary tastes are catered for. Great ambience looking on to a fine street view. Very good value for money.

Very good service . Meals were adequate - my sea bass was very small and chips were slightly over cooked. There was plenty of room in restaurant even though it was very busy.

We visit Cote regularly and the food and service are consistently good.On this visit the service was particularly excellent - friendly and attentive but very professional. We also enjoyed the complimentary gin!

Made very welcome, great food as always and extremely pleasant staff. Brought my daughter with me who was very impressed. The gin cocktail was delicious and went down a treat on a hot day.

Fantastic food served with a smile. Very good value for a two course lunch. Would recommend this restaurant which was busy but all seemed to be enjoying themselves.
