Our favourite Cote restaurant. We were welcomed as always and seated immediately. Our waiter, Hugo, was efficient and friendly. The food, starters of calamari and duck pate, and mains of rib-eye steak and seafood linguine, were really good. My only complaint is that the mussels weren’t quite as good as usual which was slightly disappointing. The creme caramel dessert was sublime. All in all a very happy visit to Cote.

We had a lovely table by the open window on a warm day. All of the staff were very friendly and efficient. My father enjoyed all of his food and I really enjoyed my starter and dessert, but the mushroom and spinach crepe was pretty awful - the sauce had split and was runny. Basically everything had turned to mush and didn't look at all appetising. Overall, though, we enjoyed our meal and would come back.

We went with friends from Scotland and chose Cote as we felt we could be confident of a good e ending.

The good, as always was excellent. Particularity enjoyed my steak frites and a but my vegetarian husband delighted to be given a vegetarian menu with choices other than the standard risotto & mushrooms or goat Cheese with beetroot something. Service too excellent and in keeping with the high quality in all the Cotes I've been to in both London (several) and more locally).

The creme caramel is absolutely deliciousas isthe creme brulee.The mussels unfortunately were rather disappointing .

The restaurant was busy. Service took quite a while. We would have ordered a desert but couldn't wait as service took too long. Maybe under staffed? Having a 40th for my Son on Sunday. I hope the service will be better? Costing me a fortune! Let's hope?

Food always good. Would have liked server who dropped dirty, greasy cutlery onto my lap to have offered some apology or offered some way of cleaning it up. Badly stained trousers for theatre visit! Thus gratuity reduced.

This was our first visit although we had previously visited Cote in Basingstoke, Farnham and Newbury. It was a very pleasant experience and despite being very crowded, the service was excellent. Not all items on the menu were available but there were sufficient choices left for us. We would not hesitate to visit again.

Two of us arrived 15 minutes early but the waitress could not have been more welcoming and we were able to wait for our guests without any pressure to order

So important to make a reservation, it’s such a busy restaurant!

For a pre theatre 3 course meal I defy anyone else to give such good value. Fresh ingredients, friendly, prompt service and plenty of choice on the menu. We will be back.
