Very enjoyable evening and lovely position sitting next to an open window on a hot day.

Enjoyable enough meal. No real faults apart from a lack of capers and only a tiny smear of goats cheese in the special June starter - just nothing exciting. Sancerre by the glass pleasant. Not sure the meal was worth £90 (including the service charge. Our wait person was good and I would probably have given 15% as a tip). Nice atmosphere especially on a hot June evening with the windows open.

I have come to know the restaurant well over time and am happy.

As usual, a great time at this branch of Cote last visited two years ago. It's a pity there is no set menu option availanle at the weekends.

Love this restaurant always have a great experience everything is always perfect.

Its normally our favourite place to have breakfast but today I was a little disappointed. My sausages were hard, the fried eggs were overcooked. The service was not up to its usual standard. We will be back to give it another try though. Fingers crossed for next time.

We were not disappointed in the meal and the service was exceptional. Particularly enjoy Cote as we are never rushed.

Everything was lovely except that I am watching my weight and wanted to substitute the frites with new potatoes but was told you didn't have any.

My friend and I had our usual Pre-Theatre Set Menu. Delicious starters and mains followed by creme caramel and coffee. All served promptly so that we were in good time to walk back to the theatre. Service always welcoming and efficient. Our favourite choice in Chichester.

Excellent service from staff and food very tasty. Only dropped a star because 12.5% service charge added automatically for only 4 diners -optional but seemed churlish to challenge as service good but we’d have preferred to decide ourselves about tip.

We had booked in advance and on arrival were given a choice of tables to sit at. The staff were friendly and one recognised us from a couple of weeks ago. All the food was excellent and I particularly liked the crab starter and chateaubriand. We like the Cotes. We find they offer reliable quality and reasonably priced menus.

Only issue was impression that staff wanted to rush us through: we had prebooked for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was busy but with spare tables: no queue at door We ordered a glass of champagne, olives etc and were enjoying these when our starters arrived. Also hassled to order dessert I suggest dedicated specific staff to tables and encourage them to ‘read’ the table Otherwise all good

Took a friend to my favourite restaurant chain and she thoroughly enjoyed her first time visit for the choice, service and value for money.

Nice meal, service was excellent as usual. Lovely ambience, that's why we are regulars in Cote Chichester, even though we live in Guildford. Well done to the staff, you make it a pleasant experience every time we visit. Keep it up, see you soon. The Alexanders.

First time we've had breakfast at Cote and we thought the selection of choices on offer was great and we will definitely be returning to repeat the experience.

It's always a pleasure to visit Cote Chichester. The staff are all first class, welcoming, friendly and efficient. The management are outstanding and beginning to seem like old friends. Definitely our favourite restaurant experience.

Excellent visit to the Chichester Branch - and to all the others we have visited. If there is a Cote in a town we visit then that is were we will eat. There should be a branch in East Grinstead - but they pulled out at the last minute. A very great shame

Main of steak was delicious as were the berries. But the desserts are heavily weighted to chocolate. I would love to see ice cream affogato instead of the chocolate sauce,( espresso coffee over ice cream) winner

A la carte menu and this time. Delicious Breton fish stew and tuna salad.

We visit many Cote restaurants around the country and believe Chichester to be our 17th Cote!! Again food and service excellent.I always have creme caramel for pud and although they are always super, sometimes they are even more super and this was one,plenty of caramel and cream. Cote is definitely our favourite restaurant

Great meal again, on this occasion the Pan Roasted Haddock in Smoked French Bacon on mash with dill was the star of the show, highlighted by the asparagus and tomato vinaigrette what incredible flavours packed on one plate

Excellent lunch at a very reasonable price. The Chateaubriand was superb and we hope it may be included as a standard item on future a la carte menus. Service friendly and very professional as usual.

A very pleasant lunch with good food and courteous service. Our only concern was that unlike other recent visits to other chain restaurants they did not seem well prepared when we raised the question of a food allergy.

Met a friend for brunch. Didn’t feel rushed seeing as we were in the middle of a busy lunch period.

Nice meal for fathers day but would have been nice to have had a set menu for this occasion the same as mothers day.
