Probably the worst meal we have had there in six years.Steak frites ,we both had,were very well done-sent them back and next ones were nicely pink but oh so tough!.Meat quality bad

The birthday drink was much appreciated. Food was a good as ever - tenderloin pork was excellent and the sea bream cooked well. Starters and desserts were good with very attentive waiting staff.

Small tables. Not enough room. What is the reason? Bring old tables back.

As a regular at Cote it is with reluctance I post this review. I have found our past experiences completely faultless. This time it wasn’t welcoming, the service was indifferent and the food mediocre. The toilets were an absolute disgrace also which was very surprising. We did receive a refund for the hors d’oeuvres which were past their best though.

As usual, we had a very enjoyable lunch at Cote Brasserie. The service was excellent, as were the food, drink and ambiance. What more can you ask?

Terrific staff. Delicious Seedlip aux Myrtilles cocktail. Really excellent. Pissaladière - poor. Olives could have been better but were fine. Mushroom Parmentier - this is not good. Just, as the waiter described, a mush. Even the mashed potato on top was poor. The accompanying cabbage was sitting in a pool of water: it was unseasoned and uncared for. My friend enjoyed her sea bass. The fennel looked wonderful. A good experience but wish I had not ordered the Parmentier.

Service and food were excellent as usual. I have eaten in many Côtes and Chichester is by far the best. Staff are lovely, service is first class and the food is always of a high standard.

Good meal, good service, good surroundings. Had coffee and croissants yesterday, lunch today and back again for lunch tomorrow. Speaks for itself.

Another excellent meal at Cote Chichester. The blood orange martini was very enjoyable and should be a permanent fixture on the menu! Steak tartare superb- so few restaurants offer it as a regular choice.

Booked for birthday breakfast with my daughter and mum. Staff were welcoming friendly and efficient. We ordered the Croquet Madame which was absolutely delicious!! They brought out warm chocolate pudding and ice cream with a candle in it which was such a lovely gesture. Cotes never disappoints!

Really tasty good value meal. Staff very friendly . Lovely table by the window as requested. A little warm in the restaurant it very cold outside. Went be long before we return.

The set menu is exceptional value. I had the egg florentine and the sea beam, both perfectly cooked, and the iced berries, always my favourite dessert, for £14.50 which is truly outstanding value. The house rosé and house chardonnay are very good. The espresso is not bad but rather thin in my opinion. Service is very professional.

Shown to a table, waited for someone to take our drink order, as it was apparent this wasn’t going to happen, we had to beckon a member of staff over. The service improved after this, food good but very noisy, no Valentine theme.
