Côte Chichester

We had actually booked to go to Blancs but they were not doing a two or three course lunch menu only their main menu….for a lot of people this is too much at lunch time… .we cancelled our booking and went to Cote….always a favourite…..the restaurant was full ……food excellent as was the service……thank you Cote ……

Another great meal. I thought the ribeye steak was excellent. It’s well worth upgrading on the set menu to this steak. Back there again later

This is one of our favourite Côte restaurants with good food and service as well as a great atmosphere. We are back next week for another meal

We love Cote for breakfast and normally go to Farnham but we were shopping in Chichester so went there. Friendly staff and good food

Superb restaurant, all the staff were very friendly and the food as perfect as always.

First time ordering the Cote burger. Pleasantly surprised as burger was very flavoursome! And the seasonal starter of Confit duck salad was also very tasty. However the seasonal desert, blueberry and almond tart was a bit of a let down. Pretty basic for the price.

I really enjoyed the food but for the second time the service was indifferent. I am not sure what is happening but I’m not sure I’ll be rushing back.

We like this Côte very much but it wasn’t as good as usual in terms of food or service. We felt a bit like it was time to leave at 9.50pm so the staff could go home!

Pre Theatre supper really hit the spot. Good food and pleasant service.

Excellent service from anyone who came to deliver anything to our table. Tasty well prepared food. Special note for the Lamb chops which were a delight.

Went for a pre-theatre meal and as always the food was excellent. Our server was one of the friendliest waitresses ever and was so attentive to make sure that we enjoyed our meal. We will definitely return soon.

It was so lovely to be back at Cote Chichester after a long lock down time following Covid restrictions. The set meal is now part of the main menu so you need to look out for that. Prices have gone up of course, but the food and wine are still good value. Pity that the set meal still has the same items on it - the deserts have changed and there was plenty of choice. The waiting staff could not do enough for you. We will be back soon. Thank you.

As ever this Côte has excellent food and service with a good atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. I really cannot fault it.

Tried new dishes on the 3 course deal, whitebait, sea bass and citron tart. All were amazing! Very impressed and such a good price point.

Very good as always. We were made so welcome we almost felt like VIPs. Lunch, once again, was really good. The only downside was the noise as the acoustics are not good; the bare wall panels need cloth padding. However, we still love the place and will be back soon.

This was our 45th wedding anniversary and so pleased that we can now return to eating there after the lockdown has eased. All the staff wear masks and were really good fun. Cotes always seem to make you feel special I love it.

I love this restaurant from the time you walk in through the door, the smell of garlic and wonderful food hits your nose. The greetings are always friendly and fun. I love it
