Côte Chichester

Our first try of eating out since lockdown & we felt very safe. Staff all wearing visors & very welcoming. Plenty of space between tables & diners strategically seated to leave empty tables too so nobody near you. Hand sanitiser stations located throughout the restaurant & rest rooms. Food as always top standard Cote offerings. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

A little nervous as one of my first trips out post lockdown, but could not have been a more delightful experience. The food was as excellent as ever, as was the service, which, given the additional difficulties of COVID, was so pleasing and reassuring. Welcoming, engaging, and the visits are so much less intimidating than masks. Many thanks. Will be back soon.

A lovely meal, although they had run out of lobster, which represents the marking just shy of full stars. Excellent service and each course was very tasty and fresh.

It was a delight to see regular staff and enjoy the excellent food. I was disappointed to find that there was no lobster, even for an early evening booking. Safety precautions were evident but not intrusive. Spacing seemed adequate and thorough cleaning after clients left a table was reassuring. We have missed the pleasures of restaurant food, and Cote in particular.

Superb as always. The Food, service and ambience were absolutely excellent. Then there was the bonus of the £10 off per head.

Always a good experience eating at Cote Chichester. Slight hic up yesterday with the pork belly consisting of ALL fat and no meat whatsoever, but this was quickly rectified and as a goodwill gesture the cost was refunded on the final bill. Service was excellent as always. This restaurant is becoming our favourite. See you again in a few weeks time!

Brilliant as ever. The staff were so courteous, the service was slick, the food amazing and I just love eating here - I have missed it over the lockdown period but I am so happy to be back enjoying a great meal, in a relaxed atmosphere with lovely staff!

So pleased that Cote has survived lockdown and been able to reopen in Chichester. It has been a much missed dining experience and so nice to get back to some semblance of normality. Staff were brilliant and seemed pleased to be back themselves; service super efficient; food up to the usual high standard; I really do not need the Chancellor's sweetener to eat here and certainly do not begrudge the service charge that goes to staff. Why anyone would want to eat anywhere else other than Cote is a mystery.

Helpful, kind and friendly staff. We were very well looked after without anyone being overly attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed our three course meal and we were then delighted to discover Cote was taking part in the '£10 off' per diner Gov initiative. It was a good way to celebrate our Silver wedding anniv during 'strange times'.

Excellent menu, excellently cooked, excellent ambiance and excellently served. And all for a very reasonable price. Who could ask for more.

My mum and I visited for dinner last night. It was my first meal out since shielding and it was excellent. We felt very comfortable eating inside the restaurant with the safety measures in place. The food and service were also very good! I haven’t visited the Chichester restaurant before but I will definitely be back.

Excellent food and service as always. Cleanliness hygiene in this Covid sware situation are way above all other locations we have looked at. Congratulations to management and staff. Keep up the good work.

Had a fantastic lunch with my mum on Saturday 1st August. Staff were really welcoming and very friendly. Food was delicious. The whole experience was brilliant.

First meal out since lockdown! We were a little apprehensive but overall it was a very good experience...... if a little different! Staff were friendly and relaxed but well practiced in the new health and safety measures. Food looked and tasted amazing! We have missed Côte...... felt good to be back - thank you and long may it last!

We used to eat at Cotes quite regularly before lockdown. We was so looking forward to it, but left feeling a bit down beat. We had finished our starters and within 5 Minutes the mains was brought to out table, everything just seemed so rushed. My Goats cheese salad was quite disappointing, but that’s just my view. It won’t stop us going back but we will check how quick the mains will come out, as they always had the right balance before lockdown of bringing the mains out.

Our first meal out for 4 months and it was wonderful. The food was delicious and we were so happy that there was lobster on the menu. Everything was cooked to perfection and the staff were friendly and attentive as always. So glad you're back!

What a wonderful evening we had at Côte in Chichester. It was the first time back after they had reopened in July. As ever the food was amazing and the service so friendly and helpful.

My first visit to this restaurant. I had a 3 course meal, and all courses were very good quality. Service was quick and efficient. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Very clean all the staff wore face shields very happy with all the procedures they have put in place. Nice to see all the same faces back Atmosphere not changed well dobe

Great atmosphere and a bit of a buzz despite Covid reducing the table numbers. Friendly staff, superb fillet steak perfectly cooked rare as ordered.

Cote never lets you done, my friend and I had a really superb lunch. We both chose Chicken & walnut salad, it was delicious. The chicken was chargrilled perfectly on a bed of lettuce, avocado & a walnut dressing. Washed down with a rather good chilled house white wine. The staff were very attentive and most welcoming In these difficult times. I thoroughly recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed!
