Great staff, friendly and seemed happy to greet us. Good good if a little expensive. Only complaint, tiny coffee cups! Apart from that.... all good

Staff absolutely excellent. Food: chicken dry and overcooked. Fillet and minute steaks overcooked and the fillet smaller than my last visit. Fries excellent as always Peas and beans at £7.53 are very expensive. Also there seemed no benefit from the VAT cut. We used to visit Cote regularly because of the lunch menu but quite honestly will not be able to afford to come again now that it is a la carte only. It was interesting that restaurant was only a third full on a Friday at 1:30 when it used to be full.

It was our first time back since lockdown and it was really nice to be welcomed in the usual friendly manner. Lunch was as good as ever up until my wife felt poorly and fainted. However, the staff were excellent in helping out, particularly the young man who was front of house and the young lady chef. My wife is now at home resting although in some pain and discomfort from the fall, but we will be back soon hopefully.

We were not happy about the fact that the wearing of face masks was not mandatory. I think we must have been the only couple that came in wearing a face mask while we were in the restaurant. This would put us off dining in the restaurant again.

I reserved my table for 2 with a wheelchair space and we were given the perfect space for my wheelchair and the service was excellent, and so helpful and friendly, we visit you 3 or 4 times a year and the food and service is always exceptional! Glad you are open again, and hope all the team stay safe and well, and a big thank you, it was my first trip out since the corona virus, and had a lovely time Thank you very much!

Enjoyed our first restaurant meal since lockdown at Cote. The meal was up to Cotes usual high standards and great service too.

I had a Lovely meal. My partner’s steak was very tough but it was exchanged Immediately and it’s cost removed from the bill Very grateful for the quick replacement so we could eat together. Well done Cote staff Chichester. We’ll be seeing you again

We were looking forward to our meal, a gift from our son, but sadly it was not what we expected. The restaurant was nice and the staff excellent but our main meal, steak and chips, was not! Both of our steaks were tough and extremely salty, we didn't want to spoil our first outing since Covid so didn't complain but felt you should be aware.

We had a delicious lunch. Excellent service, bright and cheery staff. Great social distancing between all the tables. The steak frites and tuna nicoise were wonderful and good sized helpings. The creme caramel was superb and my friend loved the chocolate mousse. All round fabulous!

So nice to be out again after such a long time at home. Food was good, and the service very friendly. Not a cheap evening but very pleasant.

Excellent as always, from greeting, seating and service it did not disappoint, especially during a challenging time. Extremely impressed with the attentive service and more so watching how the staff and managers cleaned down and sanitised surfaces including tables, chair surfaces and table condiments and card machines etc. after and prior to seating guests. This was observed and maintained during our time in the restaurant. The food as always was wonderful, especially the lobster!! We dine quite often at the Chichester Restaurant, it’s not exactly local to us but we are happy to travel as we always enjoy dining here. I’m very excited to make a return visit soon to enjoy your brunch now it has been reinstalled to the menu! Thank you to all the team including the Kitchen!

Good service and attentive staff. We had to send the pate back but it was replaced quickly and the rest of the meal was enjoyed.
