We enjoyed a really lovely evening here for our anniversary. I love the atmosphere here, always busy but really good service. Starters were lovely, we had parfait and friends had goats cheese salad. I had a sirloin steak for main which was a little chewy so I left a bit. When they came to clear the plates the waitress asked if everything was ok and I said yes lovely, just a little chewy. Without me asking they took off the price of my meal which was really kind. Lovely evening altogether
Tasty food, reliable as always. A taste of France in the U.K. Friendly, knowledgeable, excellent service. Good choice of wine. Very good value for money
Food was above average. Starter to small and could have accompanied with bread, main good and plentiful, taste, above average - service charge excessive, pleasant staff.
Three of us had lunch today. As usual we were delighted with the excellent friendly service and great food! Full marks and great value for money!!
Excellent restaurant, staff and food!!! Cote never lets us down. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. We went for Mother's Day and will for sure return.
The food was very good, service perfect. Will go again. Good value for money. The menu is quite French and the house wine was quite palatable.
Great place .The staff very professional and helpful .The food was well presented and tasted delicious .The atmosphere was good. Look forward to going again soon .
Nice ambience. Menus with varied choices and mostly reasonable prices. Wine expensive for the quality offered. Access by car not easy unless you know Chichester well.
Chichester never fails to produce excellent food with welcoming attentive staff - the icing on the cake,so to speak, was my complimentary birthday drink - thankyou Cote
Lovely meal, nice food except no croutons on the prawn starter. Friend said swordfish was bland. The steak au pruive was excellent. I did email 48 hours before to change the number of people, but they hadn't changed the reservation. Customer service was very good.
Had a really excellent night here. Very attentive service and great food, especially the rump steak... all finished off with the most delicious dessert wine. Highly recommended!
lovely lunch for 4 on the set lunch menu -- plenty of choice for everyone.excellent service as always even tho the restaurant was very busy--food was served very quickly
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 lovely meal. Would highly recommend. Service was great. Staff were great. Food was great. Beer was great. Parking wasn't great. Would go there again anytime
We had a delicious pre-theatre meal which was served with the minimum of fuss. The staff were attentive but not obtrusive. we chose to eat from the pre-theatre menu and were not disappointed with our choices. We will be back when we are next in Chichester for the theatre. I was pleased to see that there is a Cote Brasserie in Worcester as we will be there this summer for the Three Choirs Festival.
being too close to the next table next to you so that their conversation intrudes into your own, the food was only ordinary but the price was really expensive, you can get greater value and privacy elsewhere
Food was amazing! Nice and cozy restaurant. Staff took very good care about us! Thank you to head chef- Darius! Will come again! Thank you
A very busy Sunday afternoon but we were promptly seated and served. The food was good and there were no extended periods between courses. The staff were pleasant, efficient, and there were enough of them to provide good service. A good afternoon.
Always a good experience at Cote but on this occasion not quite up to scratch. I had the Steak au poivre which although hot and properly cooked medium rare was overly salted and more fatty than I would like. I put this down to a random less than optimum piece of beef. Fries and spinach were fine. My partner had the haddock in pancetta with Puy lentils always a favourite and it did not disappoint.
Excellent service and good food.. I just wish the phrase 'complimentary water' could be dropped - it doesn't sit well with a quality restaurant of this standard
Excellent breakfast - great food and first class service. well worth the visit to Chichester just to have breakfast at Cote! We will be back!
A lovely meal early evening before a show. I enjoyed the soup and the duck confit which was delicious. My partner had The charcuterie board and pork belly - the belly was a little over cooked. Drinks were very good and a great range to choose from.
Great staff and fabulous food - a really nice atmosphere in the restaurant - very nice ingredients and lots of choices - and good wine !!
My prawn gratiné was good and my spinach, mushroom and cheese crêpe was excellent as ever. My wife's calamari was too heavy with oil and her crêpe ( the same one as mine) was lacking in cheese sauce rendering it rather dry. Some staff are friendly and engaging, others tend to be somewhat offhand and, occasionally, rather officious. The 'La Place' Sauvignon Blanc was as good as usual.
Great experience, great food and friendly staff, the manager could not have done more for us, he and his team were excellent. Many thanks. Richard voaden
This was our first time dining at a Cote restaurant. We registered for their reward scheme prior to booking and got a free bottle of wine worth £24.95 (the wine was excellent by the way). To get the free bottle of wine, 2 of us had to choose from the ala-carte menu whereas the other 3 chose from the early diners menu. The food was great - not large portions - but we all came away feeling satisfied. What was strange was the one of the mains didn't come with potatoes included in the price.. so effectively it was just a piece of chicken - albeit very nice chicken.. so we had to order frites as a side .. which was an additional cost. The staff were very attentive. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The only other thing to mention was the children's menu - its designed for 7 year olds .. so we ended up ordering from the ala-carte for our 11 year old .. which i'm glad we did, because as stated earlier, the portions are not very large! We would definitely back to try other dishes from the menu.
Great choice of imaginative dishes, beautifully presented. Very pleasant and efficient staff. Restaurant centrally located, well designed and decorated, giving a good atmosphere for diners.
We had a really lovely meal to celebrate our daughter's engagement. Excellent food and unobtrusive but attentive service; great atmosphere. Will be going back again soon.
Busy, good atmosphere, good drinks and excellent food. We had the set menu and all four of us agreed it was excellent value for money.
First class breakfast with the grandchildren who loved it. Service outstanding - could not have been better bad the food was delicious. We will be back!!
I eat at Cote in Chichester regularly with family and friends, and always enjoy a 1st Class service. The food is freshly cooked and presented beautifully.
A couple out on Friday evening for an evening meal Good food and service in a good atmosphere Competitive price Well worth the evening visit
Made welcome on arrival at restaurant , very efficient helpful staff, good food with pleasant surroundings. Will be going there again with my family and friends.
Always fantastic. Staff very attentific. Food choice always great, wine selection magical and I'm struggling to say any more as there is nothing more I can say !!
Good service and a convivial atmosphere and very nice food. Never disappointed. Was a Mother's day treat and offered great value and a lovely evening for Mum
The restaurant and service was great. However all our steaks were over cooked - ordered medium rare. Very disappointing since we had gone there specifically for steak. With hindsight should have sent them back.
Excellent service. Very friendly atmosphere. All staff were courteous and welcoming. Would definitely recommend visiting Cote, Chichester. We will certainly be returning for another enjoyable night out.
As always excellent food and service. Cote Chichester is our favourite restaurant. The Special menu of 3 courses for £11.95 is excellent value. I always have steak fritz!
Very good atmosphere, very lively. Service very pleasant, if a little slow. Always a good experience. Best breakfast in town. Will be going there again
Consistently great experience at Cote - friendly staff, great food at an excellent price, lovely atmosphere and a central location. Thanks to all there for another great lunch!
Second visit to Cote in Chichester and again, very pleased with the food (nice and hot), and the service. The restaurant was busy and had a good atmosphere with friendly staff.
My starter was overcooked and cold and should have been hot and my main chicken with couscous the couscous did not taste very nice so not totally happy.
Excellent as always. Great food, cleanliness and hospitality. Have always enjoyed my frequent visits. The lunchtime menu is great value and the choice of wines are perfect.
Could not fault the meal and service - steak and frites. But why, if I do not want to buy a bottle of red wine, do I only have the choice of 2 wines by the glass. I am sure a house wine by the carafe ( of different sizes) would be popular.
very good. fast efficient service which we needed as were going bowling. Food was very nice. god choice. kids enjoyed their meal. Clean & tidy.
On arrival we were promptly shown to our table. We chose the set lunch menu. The meal was enjoyable & we had good service during our lunch.
Excellent food and service. We always enjoy our meals here as they are excellent ever time. Would recommend it to everybody who wants a great meal.
Always enjoy lunch at Cote the menu very varied and good value - go there regularly - staff are always very welcoming and efficient. Love sitting in the window watching the world go by!
Lovely atmosphere. Not sure about the lump of gristle in my meal, mentioned to waitress but said Don't know what that would be!!!. My crumble was only Luke warm but my husbands was very hot. Sorry to complain we do like this restaurant
Good quality food and value for money. The service was friendly but we had to ask for a couple of things twice. It was a busy Friday so this was probably understandable.
Always quick, but not rushed, service. Friendly staff. Extremely good value for money. The best cappuccino anywhere. Consistent quality across the whole chain. There should be more Cote Brasseries opened.
