This is a lovely restaurant with excellent food and very helpful friendly staff. It's a French style restaurant and I couldn't fault our meal. The roast chicken was delicious.

Friendly prompt service. Good choice on the lunch menu. The food was well presented and delicious. We had starters and mains with a glass of wine. Excellent value.

as always we had a lovelylunch at cote. The set menu is such good value and has a large choice of starters and main courses-- something for everyone whatever their tastes.

Great value, although as a regular customer the portions were smaller this visit. Also the seafood pasta main course wasn't as flavoursome as usual. Our visit was spoiled by poor service on this occasion but the manageress recovered the fault so we will try it again.

Really pleased with our visit, the staff were excellent from the moment we walked through the door until the moment we left the restaurant. The food was fantastic, the best I have eaten in Chichester for a long time. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

An excellent meal and a great way to finish our visit to Chichester. Staff here are very efficient and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend but do book as they were very busy and turning people away who hadn't made a reservation. I think that says it all.

Food and service as brilliant as ever I am looking forward to returning to Chichester and other venues . Just remembered the Sea Bass was not as tasting as the meal I had in Tunbridge Wells on the 1st April .

We ordered three different dishes - lamb, plaice and 2 asparagus wrapped inParma ham, and all were exquisitely cooked, unquestionably five-star. Service friendly and super-efficient. Unreservedly recommended.

Food was nice but the service nothing more than you would expect from any food establishment including somewhere like wetherspoons (being asked if we were happy with our meal) however not impressed by the imposed 12.5% service charge on top of the bill. Service charge should be at the customers discretion not forced upon them.

Once again the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were discreetly attentive as always. We had a super evening celebrating with our intern who has completed her degree course, we recommend the house sparkling blanc de blanc! Thank you.

We make a point of eating here whenever we have a Chichester Festival Theatre visit planned provided that it is during the week. The reason for this is that their pre-theatre special meal, which offers superb value for money, is only available during the week. For weekend visits we go to Raymond Blanc so there's a lesson to be learned there. Food and service are both good and they are not "pushy". If you want just tap water to drink then that's fine. There is just one downside, which fortunately did not occur yesterday. Halfway through your meal they normally turn down the lights to the point that you can barely see your meal. If you complain they might turn them up fractionally but never enough. Perhaps I should take my brilliantly bright LED headlamp with me to stress the point. Get this right and I would give them a 100% recommendation. As it is, I can't.

As always well cooked dishes and very good service. My guests who were visiting for the first time said they could not fault the meal.

all good as usual except on lunch menu why do you split the asparagus? Completely ruins the dish which is minimal and even more when there is an abundance of asparagus this year.

Very slow service at start, reminder to waitress but she had difficulty in communication because of poor English, altho she was pleasant. Wrong starter order then brought. Main course steak inedible and had to be returned. Fish stew passable but certainly not up to Breton standard as advertised. A very over-priced meal for mediocre quality Will not be returning; although I am regular user of the Covent Garden branch.

Our favourite restaurant never fails to deliver on service, ambiance and not least on delicious food. Five of us sat down to lunch today and we're not disappointed. I have one suggestion and that is to have a few round tables that seat five.

Very friendly greeting, generous 'welcome' bottle of wine, attentive and good service, lovely ambiance. A really enjoyable evening overall. Thank you Cote, we will be back!

The Chicken and Avocado (when I could find it) and Walnut Salad was as dull as any salad I have ever eaten and to pay £11.50 for it is an absolute disgrace. My freind's Spinach and Mushroom Crepes were overcooked and I could see the bottom of the pancake was stuck to the dish. Very disappointing and simply not up to standard. The best part was the fresh mint tea...
