Lovely restaurant with a good atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, food is excellent with a wide choice of options. We eat there regularly and are never disappointed.

Tasty food, very good service, very popular venue and theatre menu just the ticket and great value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend it.

I went with 2 friends for lunch because I had an offer of complimentary Kia Royale to celebrate my birthday. We enjoyed the lunch very much, the food and Kia Royale were good and the service excellent. When we asked for the bill we had been charged for 3 drinks but only received a refund for one. We told the waitress and the mistake was immediately corrected. This was the second time we'd had an experience like that and it's very upsetting.

Excellent as usual and one of my favourite local restaurants. Food very good and service excellent, a good lively and friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

The Service, atmosphere, and decor were all excellent. The food too was very good with one exception. The Salad Nicoise was poor, very few olives or green beans, and very bland. The other three in our party were all very pleased with the food and it's good value. Busy time early evening in Chichester but service excellent and with a smile.

This was our second visit, and frankly brilliant. Excellent service from the waiting staff. Food was brilliant. Gentleman hosting made us feel so welcome yet again. Will be back again.

We were a party of five and received excellent food, drink and service. Everything was very prompt and we were left with loads of time to make it to the theatre.

On a very wet day it was great to enter a well run restaurant with efficient staff. It gets very busy before the Festival Theatre productions and you do need to book. We had the pre-theatre menu which always offers good value.

Pleasant surroundings....excellent service ! Good choices on the menus .....pre starters right through to desserts. Waiter knowledgable about the dishes .....main courses served up on very warm plates which meant the food stayed hot throughout. Very goo macchiatos to finish the meal. We'all definitely be back !

Always a very pleasant reception and good service at Cote in Chichester. We like the set menu after leaving the theatre - good value and a varying choice of dishes.

A very pleasant visit. The prawn gratinee was a bit bland, not a lot of taste. I never use salt but had to add some to get the flavour. The calamari was good. The crepes need a little more flavouring too but were quite tasty. The steak and frites was excellent. Service was very good. The ambiance was excellent. Nice to visit a restaurant and not have any music playing, that's a big plus for us

Relaxe, airy environment, pleasant and efficient staff and good food. Also a nice wine choice. You're always guaranteed an enjoyable eating experience here in Cote.

Both food and staff were way above standard. Excellent experience every time I've been. Get the port.. and the chocolate mousse, you're always a winner.

Apart from the food being reliably good, the staff were really outstanding! We accidentally spilled a glass of wine and the way it was dealt with was first class - no fuss, cleaned up in no time and we were not made to feel uncomfortable in any way. Excellent service, thanks to you all.

We had a good welcome and were sat at a round table with plenty of room. The waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful with a ready smile. The food was very good and the wine just right. We'll certainly be back - soon!

Cote always provide well cooked food at reasonable prices. They are very reliable. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. We eat regularly with them across many sites.

Good food and good customer service. One meal had cold scrambled eggs and was changed without question and not charged for. Didn't expect or ask for the deduction so definitely a plus.

Had the lunch menu, walking from the station to the hotel. Usual excellent standard - salad & fish. set me up for the Festival Theatre in the evening.

A good - and popular - place to eat before the theatre. The staff are excellent and the food very tasty. The do need a better selection of deserts though, to list "sorbets" and only do lemon is a bit misleading - and boring - for anyone with a dairy intolerance.

Good service but menus are tired and need update and may need to include "beef burger" included in new menu. Your steak is also not as good of late, either quality of meat or the way it is cooked.

As always, food good, service excellent, atmosphere perfect. We always find the experience never lets us down. Perfect for a pre-theatre lunch, we will return.

As always we were warmly greeted on arrival. The meal was excellent with a good choice. The service was friendly and efficient and we were in good time for the start of the film at Cineworld.

Good food, good atmosphere but the waitress forgot we were there after delivering the main courses. Shame really because the pre 7pm menu is excellent .

It was the last night of my step daughters stay from Australia and everything about the whole experience was perfect they loved the food, the service and the atmospher of the restaurant. Will be recommending to our friends

I have eaten here many times, almost always from the set menu which is astonishingly value at £11 for two courses and only £13 for three. On previous occasions the starters have been so good that I have taken three courses. This time the starters were very disappointing so nobody on our table for 5 had one. Main courses and desserts are very good and so is the service but the bill was wrong and had to be corrected. I give the same advice here that I have been giving for years: always, Always, ALWAYS check your bill. This is especially true in the USA where the bill is frequently inflated (by as much as 50% in one case) in the expectation of a poor tip on hearing an English accent.

Absolutely fantastic as always. COTE is by far our favourite restaurant especially the one in Chichester, we have been to over 20 in the last 10 years and our local one is by far our favourite... its just like going home each time. We can't fault it. Thank you very much.

We like Cote as we always find it reliable with some variation in the menu and a nice atmosphere. Yesterday in Chichester was no different. In addition one of our party (of 4) left most of their starter and the waiter enquired and was told he found it a little too greasy for his liking. Immediately we got an apology and it was taken off the bill without us asking. Added to what was anyway a nice evening. Very happy.

Having been a few times, this restaurant is very consistent with excellent food and very attentive staff. I would not hesitate to recommend this as one of the best in Chichester.

For a chain restaurant we think this is superb. Always a great atmosphere excellent food and always of a consistent quality. Service is always with a genuine smile.

Excellent venue excellent staff and above all excellent food. The new June menu offers a great choice of seasonal dishes which should satisfy even the pickiest diner.

A delightful setting in the heart of Chichester with great service. I had a delicious sea bass main which was perfectly cooked and a wonderful chocolate mousse with a dusting of cocoa that gave it an edge. The starter was the only slight disappointment - once small piece of toasted baguette with a smidgeon of salmon on it... could have been more generous.

Food, service and atmosphere superb as always We are regular diners at Cote, both in Chichester and London and haverecommended it to family and friends who have also become regular customers

Friendly, efficient, polite staff, excellent food choice, perfectly cooked, well presented, nice and hot! We were last in 10.30pm and last to leave but at no time did we feel we had outstayed our welcome. A must to return to.

Excellent attentive service from start to finish. Food was well presented and tasted lovely. Only downside is it can be noisy to the rear of the restaurant compared to the front but it was a busy night in there.
