Food slow to arrive and we had to wait a while to pay, but it was very busy. Otherwise great for us, we needed to eat early to go to the theatre.

We had been held up in traffic so arrived 30mins late and had only 45mins to order and eat a meal. The staff were excellent. They found us a table immediately, advised us on what could be served quickly, the food arrived quickly and the bill presented and paid all in time for us to walk to the theatre in time. All done with a smile and the food was as good as we expect from Cote.

My wife and I have eaten several times in the Chichester Cote Brasserie and have always found the staff very welcoming, efficient and friendly. We usually use the set menu, which offers excellent value and, because it changes regularly, invites us back again. Congratulations on a superb restaurant.

Excellent meal! Good choice of dishes on set lunch menu, my husband and I really enjoyed our three course meal and the excellent service. Always book with Cote when we go on theatre trips and have never been disappointed.

Very slow and never brought the bread and olives we ordered. The food was fine and so was the waiter but it's a incredibly noisy restaurant.

Delicious breakfast, great value for money and charming staff. Always enjoy visiting a Cote restaurant. Consistently good at each restaurant we have been to for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The pre theatre menu was very varied and delicious with sensible sized portions so that all three courses could be enjoyed. We shall definitely be returning.

I often go to Cote and as usual we had a very good lunch. I was with 2 friends and we all felt the same. Very polite staff from the manager to our very nice waitress. The food was excellent. Quick service and we had a great get together. Glad I booked as is usual it seemed full.

We usually have the pre theatre menu which is excellent value. As always the service was good and the food well presented and tasted delicious.

Excellent food, quite noisy. Waitress could have been more cheerful! Very much enjoyed the fish pie and the house white wine was more than acceptable.

The pork belly from the set menu was delicious but the crackling could have been crisp. Creme caramel and peach crumble desserts were good. Service, as usual, was excellent.

Well trained staff , managed by Martin , led to a superb evening . Starting with a drink from a good selection of wines by the glass , a comprehensive menu offers a wide choice of meat , fish and vegetarian dishes . The prawns in a tomato sauce were delicious, followed by salmon , cooked to perfection with frites .

Thank you Cote, once again we have had a fantastic meal this evening, food and service were excellent. I had the belly pork, which was delicious !

The staff are always cheerful and welcoming. Overall the atmosphere and service are excellent. We recommend the Chichester restaurant to all we meet. Ouf first choice for a grest meal out!

Excellent food and excellent service. There were 6 of us there and every single course was of a very high standard. Definitely recommend to anyone.

A very disappointing experience. My wife's calamari was like rubber and inedible. The manager agreed and the remaining calamari stock was thrown away. Doesn't anyone taste the food before it is served? The mackerel was tasteless, as was the moules. The moules and the sauce tasted as though it had been stewing for several hours and was just bland. We have enjoyed meals at other Cote locations, but this first time visit in Chichester was a disaster.

Very pleasant and welcoming waitress. We went for a pre-theatre meal and the service was quick and efficient. The food was well-presented as always, but in one course the fish (hake) was a little dry. Overall good value for money, but it's a shame that 12.5% service is added as a matter of course to your bill.

Fantastic service but two of the dishes were wrong and had to be sent back to be corrected. Far too much pepper used in the food.

Côte is always reliable - service good and quick for a pre-theatre meal, and very good value for money. "Le rapport prix- qualité était correct".

Superb food, wonderful service from Leslie - as usual. We visit this place at least twice a year and would go more often if we lived closer!

Overall the food was very good and the service was friendly. We only gave a score of 4 because: 1. The chocolate desert was granular rather than smooth, so it was replaced with the crumble, which was very good. 2. Our order for two coffees got lost, so we were kept waiting until we ordered again. 3. Our companion reported that the Ladies toilet was not clean, especially behind the door. In fairness, the Manager kindly adjusted our bill for these oversights and we were happy to pay the 12% gratuity. We have eaten there quite often and think it is good value. From time-to-time things go wrong but they are always very good at resolving any issues. Happy to recomment the Cote in Chichester.

We were at Cote celebrating my son's birthday and it was a great meal as always - consistently good quality and great service with very well-trained staff. Will definitely be back.

Sundays would not be quite the same without our lunchtime visit to this restaurant. We've eaten at other Cote restaurants and, although the menus are the same elsewhere, Chichester remains our firm favourite. Maybe it is the atmosphere generated by the friendly staff who are always very welcoming and keen to make our visit enjoyable.

As always lovely staff and very helpful, my nan's steak was served nearly cold and so were my chips but both issues were resolved in minutes and the staff were brilliant about it. Great food (other than the blip) as always.

Good food at a reasonable price, the service is friendly and efficient. We have been on several occasions both evening and lunch and have never been disappointed.

We love Cote and usually frequent Reigate branch as that's where we live, so was hoping Chi branch was going to be as good and we weren't disappointed! Great staff, service and food. Was my dads 80th birthday celebration and couldn't have been better. Will be back.

Friendly welcome, good service. We both had steak but my wife's was quite chewy, otherwise a very enjoyable pre theatre supper. The celebratory champagne (10 years of Cote) was very nice!

STAFF VERY ATTENTIVE. Food Excellent. Very French Menu and everything cooked to perfection. Excellent coffee and welcome from the staff when you arrive. Everyone is trying to be friendly and helpful

The service was excellent. The food was great and the meat of very high quality, highly recommend the Pork Belly. Even though the restaurant was full all of our food came out very quick.
