Côte Chichester

This is our favourite restaurant in Chichester,reliable for excellent service, great ambiance and a good choice of delicious food. However on this lunchtime occasion two of the four mains were served cold which was disappointing. We were offered replacements but the damage was done and took the edge of the lunch with friends.

Always excellent at Cote, but particularly good this evening as we weren't rushed and it wasn't noisy. It was my birthday and my brother's first experience at Cote. Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Highly recommended.

Conscientious staff who were attentive but not too pushy. I enjoyed my meal and the general ambience of the restaurant. An excellent evening. Both food and wine were very tasty.

We were greeted with usual warmth and looked after really well. Food, as always, was delicious. We booked ourselves again for an early dinner tonight before going to,theatre.

Excellent service as always at the Chichester branch. The food was good- again as is usual in the Chichester branch - and I had the duck breast which I often have and although this was lovely and tender, the overall presentation was not as good as usual with the garnish a bit wilted and not nearly as much of it as usual and the dauphinoise were a bit too wet and kind of shapeless across the plate - although they tasted nice. The restaurant tables seem to be closer together then when the restaurant first opened so can feel a little bit noisy and a lack of privacy from the table next to you. The couple next to us were not talking and so it felt a little uncomfortable.

Always a good night out at any Cote. Not our first time at Chichester, but exceptional as always. Attentive but not overbearing service.... Would definitely return.

Great food, as always, friendly staff, just the service was a bit slow, which meant we had less afternoon left in which to do the things we wanted to.

The professional way the staff handled our meal was excellent. The food arrived in good time and the waitress service was very good, attentive without hovering but also available if required. The food was as we ordered and the special request regarding the spinach was ideal. overall excellent quality of both food and service.

Could not fault anything. Delicious food, attentive, but not obtrusive, service. Loads of space around the tables - absolute bonus in these days of squash in as many as you can. By far one of the most pleasurable eating experiences I've had in a very long time. I had duck pate with brioche toast to start (from the set menu); followed by fillet of plaice with creamed leeks and crispy leeks (double yum); chocolate mousse was heavenly - not too sweet, with a light dusting of cocoa powder to cut through it, and nice size serving. Well done, cote Brasserie! Have told everyone who would listen what a fabulous meal we had.

As we have come to expect - friendly respectful staff, quick service, good freshly prepared food, good value, we'll be back - what else is there?

As always, excellent for food and service. The staff are always friendly and helpful at this particular branch, fully aware of the needs of customers who have a play to catch. The perfect place to go for a pre-theatre meal.

We eat, at least, once a week at Cote in Chichester. The food and wines are always excellent and the service first class and friendly. We are very lucky that the Group decided to open a restaurant in Chichester. Thank you to the management and staff at Cote, Chichester to looking after us so well.

Good service, food quality good , portions seemed smaller than last time I went. I have tried a number of their locations and they are very consistent.

Lovely pre-theatre meal. Quick friendly service and very reasonably priced. I had bacon and soft egg salad which was yummy, followed by steak frites and a glass of house wine.

There were four of us and we chose from the two courses for £10.95. My main course was the belly pork which was delicious. We were all satisfied with both the service of the waiter and the food.

Tasty food, relaxed atmosphere, brilliant customer service. I highly recommend eating here or relaxing with drinks. The desserts were yummy and all food was well presented.

Brilliant service and food and good deals on the men u also very easy to book a table with this site and I'd recommend this to anybody

Very good service. Early evening menu had plenty of choices. All food to high standard. One of the peach crumbles was burnt but was replaced promptly. Mussels could have been warmer. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely excellent, as always. The perfect place to eat for a pre-theatre meal. 3 courses, wine, coffee and service charge for £48.00. And exactly the right level of service - not too rushed but aware that you need to leave on time.

Our steaks weren't great fillet griseley and sirloin tough and chewy ..not usually...service, starters desserts all good. We will be back.our children love it lots
