The visit started off very well with the waiter recognising us from a previous visit, he even remembered that I wanted the calamari but it wasn’t available. Anyway it was good food, good wine and a very 0leasurable experience!

Mushroom soup delicious but cottage pie french style not quite to my liking. My home made cottage pie is first class!! Service very good as usual

A lovely relaxed evening, nothing was too much trouble for my daughter's 18th birthday. A complementary drink, great food and service. Cake brought out and staff friendly.

Service was great. Menu was the usual Cote menu and we had a mix of a la carte and good-value set menu. All the food was solidly good, if unexceptional. The restaurant interior - unlike some other Cotes - we found a little bland and Cafe Rouge-like.

A delicious two course meal with wine, is what I had. Services was excellent. My colleagues all enjoyed their experience too and we'll probably be returning in November!!

Food was good, the service was good and unobtrusive and the staff pleasant and welcoming. The one downside was that there was no duck breast, unfortunately it had run out.

Super friendly and efficient staff but although the plates were hot the food wasn't. The meat in the beef bourginon was hard as overcooked and the mash on the fish pie was like wallpaper paste. The desserts were good.

Cosy ambience and fairly good food. A place in which to linger, but the waitress's constant attempts to make me add more to my order rather ruined, and cut short, the visit. I was advised to order a starter because the main course would take twenty minutes; glad I didn't, as it came almost immediately. My decision not to have a pudding was met with a pretty little grimace, a disbelieving tone, and the suggestion that I should at least order a coffee. A pity - it could so easily have been a 6/6 experience, but the friendly welcome was too transparently driven by a focus on gaining the biggest possible tip.

Love this restaurant. The food is all good but the a la Carter menu is excellent. Also the staff always make us feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them.

lovely meal out, great service, I think there needs to be a vegetarian/vegan menu my friend came who is a Vegan and there was nothing for her, just the normal meals on the menu that they would take the meat etc out but still had to pay full price, Staff were very helpful to accommodate for her but maybe have a Menu for this?

This restaurant is out of this world. Superb food, excellent service would highly recommend. I have been here countless times and only wish there was one a little closer to me.

It was a great pity that I could not have mint sauce with my lamb. It may be the French way but not for us Brits!

We had a really excellent meal as part of my mother's 70th birthday celebrations. The food and the service were both excellent and the complementary glass of fizz was appreciated.

Nice ambience, good service and very enjoyable food. What not to like? Most importantly, value for money. Would definitely recommend the chocolate fondant with ice cream.

Excellent, friendly and attentive service and a really top class meal giving very good value for money. The linen napkins are also a very welcome change from the usual paper serviettes.

As always there is a great welcoming at Cote Brasserie, not just from your individual waiter but also from other staff members. The portions are hearty and the standard high. Even when leaving the good wishes are numerous.

Everything was lovely with both the meal and the drinks. The only downside was that the service was very fast. Hardly surprising as it was a Sunday and quite a quiet evening.

Went for breakfast here and it was delicious, eggs done perfectly as was the rest of the meal. I had the formule English which included a hot and cold drink and toast, As for the service that was second to none, I believe the best value breakfast in Chichester

Like the food but tables (for two) very small indeed. Should think about larger tables or letting people have a larger one when plenty seem available. Staff are very reluctant to do this.

choice of food was varied, no long waiting time, the food its self was well presented and enjoyable. the service was equally as good, on arrival we were greeted with a smile, service was prompt, informative and also given with a smile.

Great food and lovely service. A good selection of gluten free food, as well (for any Coeliac's). I would definitely come here again, and I would recommend it to my friends.

Food and service excellent as always. However the wine (a La Place Sauvignon Blanc) which was part of the lunch time offer was undrinkable. If we had paid for it, it would have cost us some £22.50. We complained and a second similar bottle was not much better. I drank cider (for which I was charged) instead. Thus the rating at 4 and not 5.

Really nice meal with excellent service! This is one of my favourite places to each and I am always spoilt for choice for things to choose on the menu.
