A great evening out as always, great food and service

Took lunch here on my birthday. Situated amongst the shops in a good position. Smiling welcome. Choice of menu’s- lunchtime specials at set prices for 2 or 3 courses, or the a la carte. Husband loves the french onion soup with cheese, best ever. The latticed garlic bread is always tastey too. Have always been delighted with Cote, excellent selection, service & value for money.

The food was lovely and the service was excellent. The set menu is very good value, with plenty of choice, and the environment is chic.

Good food good atmosphere good service, lovely place went there for my birthday with my daughter and her boyfriend we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would recommend highly especially on theatre nights

We enjoyed our lunch at Cote. Very pleasant and attentive waiter and excellent food. The restaurant was very busy so rather noisy. The coffee grinder made a very loud noise and we could not hear each other speak while this was being used. Suggest that the coffee is ground while the restaurant is shut.

Absolutely wonderful experience. We eat at this Cote’s regularly for breakfast and dinner and the quality of the service is consistently excellent. All staff as accommodating and welcoming but also efficient. Can not recommend it highly enough. Will continue returning.

Absolutely excellent, as always. The perfect place to go for a pre-Chichester Theatre meal. Great food. Quick , friendly and efficient service. Best cappuccino of any restaurant to finish off.

We enjoyed a very nice meal. Whilst the service was very goof I'm not too keen on the "discretionary" 12% service charge added to the bill though. This isn't America, it isn't how we tip in Britain.

Cote always offers a very good value lunch and early evening menu. The food is well cooked and of high quality. The ambience at Chichester is nice and we loved our attentive and charming waiter Hugo.

The food was amazing an excellent choice, something for everyone. The service excellent, staff very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend a visit 😀

Great food and drink as always. Good value for money, very pleasant and efficient staff and you always know what you’re getting i.e. the standard is always the same, you know it will be good. I’m gluten free and feel confident eating here.

My friend from Canada wished to eat French style. I knew I could rely on Cote and we were not disappointed with excellent service and good food.

The food is always reliable and terrific value. So many times we have been right at the back of the restaurant but our request for a window table was honoured so even more enjoyable. Staff are fun and pleasant.

Staff very welcoming on our arrival, table was ready and options offered if needed, there were three in our party. Service was excellent, food delicious with courses arriving with just the right time between them All the Cote team who served us were friendly and efficient. Only in Chichester for the weekend but will eat here again next time in town. Very satisfied with all aspects of our visit,

Very disappointed but the restaurant didn’t charge for my friend & my meal which was nice off them ... staff were very friendly just a shame about the food on this occasion!!

Excellent as always, food and service lovely atmosphere. Always good to be welcomed by familiar faces with a smile. Not the bargain as Monday to Friday on a Saturday but still great.

The service was amazing. We had a bright, bubbly young woman and she did everything to make our time special. Was a truly perfect anniversary, and we will definitely be coming back!

Excellent service by friendly competent staff. Chose from the set menu -all tasty, well presented and good value. Ideal for a pre theatre meal. Fish cakes delicious!

Very good food, I had mussels and fries followed by Creme brûlée, and attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble for our waiter Marcin. Would definitely go again.

Food and staff excellant but if you accept one of the free offers check the bill as only £11 was deducted instead of £17.40 but it was quickly corrected.

Lovely staff. They look after so we’ll.It was my husband Birthday so it lovely to celebrate at cote.with the family. Our grandson is only 3 and he loved the children menu

Don’t like the tip gong on the bill, we requested it to be removed and left what we thought was a reasonable amount Overall the food and wine very good and we would eat again at the Cotes in Chichester Service excellent

The restaurant was very busy and did manage to accommodate 5 rather than the four for which we were booked. However we were on our way to a service at the Cathedral and had allowed one and a quarter hours for lunch which was only just enough time as the service was slow. Three of us had the steak frites which were all well done and not pink as advertised. The staff were very polite and friendly.

Lovely meal ,great staff, the place was buzzing if a little noisy for me but will go back again next time we go to Chichester.

Very good range of options on menu, from steaks, to fish to old Côte favourites like steak frites, great atmosphere and excellent service. Would visit again based on this experience.

We had a lovely lunch as usual with great friendly and attentive staff. The menu choice is varied for all tastes and is very tasty. There could be a few more vegetables included.

Just enjoyed a pleasant inexpensive lunch from the set lunch menu £13.50 for three courses. The Tart Provençal was full of flavour and the sea bream with puréed courgette and a salad of shaved courgette, rocket and broad beans was inventive without being contrived. I just had sorbet for pudding but my companion’s Apple crumble looked very good.

We arrived at 20.00 and the restaurant was busy. The staff team were attentive and listened to our requests for special dietary requirements. The food was not to long arriving at table and was enjoyed by all with no complaints as to volume or quality. Service charge on bill can be removed prior to payment. A further visit will be planned to share with friends.

I love Côte. The food is good and the staff are delightful.They ensure you have a pleasant time in their restaurant.I recommend it as an excellent place to dine and great value for money.

Made welcome although we arrived early, were visiting Chichester for the day with friends and this was my first time visiting a Côte restaurant and will not be the last. The food was excellent and the staff brilliant.

Reliable Cote, we enjoyed the set price menu, either 2 courses or 3, the steak has a £2 supplement. You need to book in Chichester as it is very popular.

Most enjoyable lunch with friends, great service lovely food all in a relaxed atmosphere. Some of us had the set menu and some picked off the a la carte menu. very good value for money.

Very good service , waiters very good with the children and able to offer us something not on the menu. Always a good meal at cote highly recommend.

We were welcomed on our arrival and shown to our table and given the menus to read. Within minutes the waitress took our drinks order and served them promptly. We ordered our food - duck liver parfait followed by cod in beurre blanc sauce - both were excellent and beautifully presented. We love this restaurant and will definitely return

Good varied menu changes each month and quality excellent. The best value and quality in the area in our opinion. Service friendly and very helpful.

The food and the service was excellent and the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will visit again the next time that we are in Chichester.

On reflection, service was possibly a bit too quick for me as a single diner. Courteous throughout, though the gaps between the end of one course and being invited to make a choice were perhaps a bit too quick. Given this was an early Saturday evening, and the restaurant quite active, I felt a little rushed. A fine line, I know. On the upside, thanks for not giving me a table in an of the usual “graveyard” locations that single diners can experience.

Had breakfast, the vegetarian English which was lovely. Staff very friendly and attentive would definately recommend and go again! It was busy and had nice buzz.

As we arrived we had a warm greeting and I was nice to be given a choice of table, service was efficient food arrived quickly and was very tasty all three courses. My only criticism is the tables are very close to each other.We will definitely be going back.

Good portions of interesting dishes on menu. As adult atmosphere with no noisy children even during school holidays. The menu is excellent value.one of the best chains.
